The lobby has a boho/boutique vibe with an assortment of adorable hair accessories, products, jewelry, face masks, and cute wallets and purses. Great if you need to pick up a quick gift after getting your hair "did." After you get called by your stylist, you are then walked to your styling station to discuss what look you would like for the day. This then prompts a transition to the shampoo bowls, which by the way, is my FAVORITE part! The chairs are messaging chairs that turn on when the stylist begins washing your hair. They are amazing and worth every penny to come to Wild Ivy to get your hair styled. After enjoying a relaxing shampoo/conditioner treatment, you make your way back to the stylist chair, and the magic begins. Please sit back, relax, and let the experts do their thang. This is now my fourth or fifth time visiting Wild Ivy, and I have brought my daughter with me twice and a friend, and every time we have seen, we have been delighted with the results, so much so that I have joined there blow dry bar membership. Andrea is Awesome! I went to Andrea for some bright reds scattered throughout a dark brown over all color. We weren't 100% happy with the first shade of red (a little too pink) so Andrea did it again, seamlessly. She didn't make a big deal out of it, and she was sure I left the salon feeling like a million bucks. It was around $150, and worth every penny. I Love Becca! I scheduled a cut/color with Becca because Andrea was on maternity leave. Becca is freaking hilarious, and she is so so talented! I have extremely fine/lifeless hair, and the cut she gaves me adds volume and body to my hair. She also did a great dark to caramel ombre on my hair. A cut and color was $110. TL;DR: If you're looking for a new salon, go to Dyson.

She has a consultation with Stephanie, who tested my friend's hair and gave her feedback she found extremely helpful to help her hair repair and when it was best to get a perm. My friend loved how honest, knowledgeable and caring Stephanie was and the time she is willing to take in the future to take care of her, she felt really happy and comfortable with her. The service that Stephanie was able to provide for my friend that was safer for her hair was a touch-up to cover her grays, and it turned out amazing! She looks like she is in her 20's again! I spent nearly 400$ to get a "Brazilian blowout" "smoothing" treatment and I'm so beyond disappointed. My hair is the same if not more dry and course than before the treatment. I wanted something to temporarily straighten my hair and I got confused by the messages with the salon which is my fault. But now after all is said and done, I'm just upset my hair feels and looks just a little bit worse if anything 4 hours of salon time and 400$ later. I did nothing with my hair besides run my fingers through it, and it still looks excellent -- curly, but put together. Lizzie is a gem. She is the first stylist to see my frizz as an opportunity for waves and curls,…read morerather than a 'problem' that required a blowout. When I first went to her, I had just discovered the Curly Girl method/book -- but I was struggling on my own. Lizzie taught me to understand my texture and work with it. She helped me find the right products and cut, which translated to minimal styling time and lots of compliments! She sells DevaCurl products, but you are not pressured to buy anything. I would advise you try the products and techniques she suggests- you may find it a game changer, as I did. Lizzie works from her home, which is a nice change from a pretentious salon and really keeps the prices reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone, but particularly frizzies like me who struggle to 'tame' their manes. Her client pics and you'll notice they are all different- we don't all leave the salon with the same trendy haircut. This is the mark of a great, client-focused stylist. I highly recommend her!
