I got color to cover grays and low lights to blend with my extensions from Morgan and then extensions put in by Destri! Going to a new place always intimidates me but Naomi (manager) and Darci (owner), met me camped out at the front door. I explained my hair emergency - and they took me in and just helped me get my groove back. They didn't just turn you away and say there were no times. Here is what's winning: The vibe - it doesn't feel like you have to tiptoe and be part of a club. You feel welcomed, cared for and attended to. I saw how they treated kids, the elderly women who came in and me... the customer care and attention is personal and so appreciated. The extensions - I confess I'm extra and I love my hair. Darci told me about a new bead method using my own hair and gave me Destri to do the install. Here is what was so amazing about Destri - she let me put all my hair in and didn't talk me out of it although being very aware of blending, damage and feel. And she is experienced with both machine, hand tied and cozy and she didn't talk me out of it and understood my need for volume, length and look. I can't even get over how important that was. I absolutely loved her install, and she did it quickly, effectively and made it about what I wanted and needed. The loop tool broke and Destri kept going with her other needle. The wefts feel tight, solid, installed carefully and the are gorgeous. She really knocked it out of the park! Pricing: So fair, so reasonable and honestly for the service I got and the care I received, this is going to be my happy place for the one stop shop. I'm getting color, extensions, nails, lashes done here. I really appreciated being welcomed, the reminders, the attentiveness, the stylists really listening to me, and the price. Considering I'm really demanding and high maintenance with high standards on hair and service - Suggestions really impressed me big time! We were traveling from out of town and my wife wanted to get her hair done. She found suggestions and booked in with Rachael. Upon arrival she was warmly greeted and her color and cut were amazing. I've been looking for a salon for a few years. I wanted to find someone I could completely trust my hair to, but ended up disappointed repeatedly. Until, on the recommendation of someone on Reddit, I made an appointment at Suggestions with Darci. I wasn't totally sure what I wanted, other than easy hair and a general idea of length. I washed my hair in the morning, doing nothing to it but comb it, and went to my appointment in the afternoon. Darci took the time to look at my hair before it was washed, and talked to me about what I wanted. She had ideas based on the amount of effort I want my hair to be, and I was happy to roll with it. She also took the time to explain and show me how to do my hair at home to replicate the salon results. It's been a week, and I'm happy to say that if I care to try, I can have salon hair every day. It's fabulous. While the price is a bit more than I expected, it is not only not an unfair price, it's a good price for the service offered. There's a reason this place is rated 4.5 stars. I got my haircut with Morgan Haws, and it was the best haircut I've had in many years. She gave me exactly what I wanted, and she catered it to my hair thickness and everything so it would work for me. I'm willing to drive 2 hours to this salon just to get my haircut with her. I love my hair and she was so personable and easy to talk to! This place has such high ratings because their stylists are experienced and know what they're doing. Spend the extra few dollars to go here instead of great clips, your hair will thank you! read more

Had a fantastic experience with Ciara! She gave me suggestions on product for my difficult hair without being pushy. She listened to what I wanted and was professional, thorough, and meticulous. I was so shocked that my color, cut, toner, and style was less than $130--I usually pay much more because of the length and thickness of my hair. I will be going back! She is talented and personable, you will love her and you will live how you look when you get out of her chair! There is a small Boutique area where I have found some adorable handmade baby gifts... Sadie did my hair a few months ago and I am coming back! She was so friendly and great at communicating to figure out what my desired look was. The salon looks nice BUT they do not do nails well at all and the nail stations are dirty! My nails looked like shovels after they were done and it was late so I had to come back later to get them fixed. The manager was very nice and tried to have them fixed. The girl really tried but were scuffed after all the filing. The manager was very accommodating and understanding and gave me my money back. read more

My teenage daughter and I came here to have her brown hair color taken back to its natural platinum blonde. It was an enormous process, much lengthier than anyone expected, especially when a prior pink dye popped back up after the brown was gone. Taylor worked with her hair for five solid hours, and was skillful, kind, and patient throughout. Her colleagues were generous with their time and knowledge, and the Salon's ambiance was welcoming and relaxed through the entire day. In the end I walked out with a smiling daughter with her white-blonde hair restored. We don't live in the area and had never been here before, and probably won't ever have the chance to return, but I highly recommend it and am a very pleased and appreciative customer. read more

I'm really unhappy with my haircut. I made it clear when I called that I wanted someone who was great with natural curl. I was given to a girl with a long, straight hair that even she said "lives in a pony tail". I gave her explicit details regarding what I liked, including that I not only like an a-line, but an exaggerated a-line that tapers in around the nape of my neck. My hair is square. No a-line at all. No tapering. Square. It's awful. I'm so disappointed. read more

This salon has steadily gone downhill in the last few years. The skill level, expertise, and stylist / client communication level has plummeted. However their prices have sometimes even shockingly gone ever higher. After having my hair color botched there on Saturday, I will never step foot in that business again. I do not recommend it to anyone. read more
