Amazing! Ivy has been cutting my hair for years and I'm always happy when I leave her chair. The salon is very welcoming and the vibe is nice, everything is organized and clean. I will definitely be coming back!

I cannot say enough about Paige and Natalie. I have been a client here for over two years, every…read more2-3 weeks, and have never been disappointed. Questions and concerns are handled immediately and happily. Paige is very proud of her studio, as well as her talent, and for good reason--she is the best. The spa-like atmosphere, the elegant gift shop and even the soft, engaging conversation between Paige and Natalie while they're working their magic is soothing. Paige Connor is not only one of the best lash technicians in the country, she also teaches the art and technique of lash extensions to qualified aestheticians in the school she founded. Lash extentions are fun and beautiful and can really boost a woman's confidence. I'm 57 and don't wear a spot of makeup when I have my beautiful lash extensions. I wash my face, shower, sweat like crazy when working out. Never a single issue. But...beware... ...the convenience, comfort and gorgeous look of lash extensions are worthless and even dangerous if not applied and maintained by a highly trained professional like Paige or one of her staff. Technicians must be knowledgeable of the weight, length and curl pattern of the client's natural eyelashes, match those to the individual lash extensions, and carefully apply each extension so that the desired look is achieved - whether that look is classic and natural or over the top glam. When done properly by a well-trained technician, NO damage is done to the natural lashes, no loss of natural lashes occurs, and they're COMFORTABLE. I've had lash extensions done by Luxury Lash Lounge for over two years, continuously, and occasionally I go a month or two without, in order to check the health of my natural lashes. I've never had a single issue. My ophthalmologist once even commented on the precision and expertise with which my extensions were done, and said they were the best he had seen. And they see thousands of patients with lash extensions! A bit on sanitary practices. If I'm in the chair and Natalie or Paige (whoever is working on me) has to step away for any reason -phone call, walk in client, vendor, whatever - they return with FRESHLY washed hands. They make sure your face is FRESHLY washed and your lashes are scrupulously clean, whether it's an initial application or a fill in. They have a gorgeous restroom with fresh towels and mild, skin soothing, lash-safe cleanser in case you forgot to wash your face before your appointment. EVERYTHING that can be sterilized IS sterilized. On the application itself, Paige is so invested in her profession that she has developed her own application tools and her own proprietary formulation of lash adhesive. I am EXTREMELY sensitive around my eyes and I have never had a single issue or problem. She's that good. Before you get lash extensions anywhere, safety and hygiene are at least as important as cost and appearance. And at Luxury Lash Lounge, you get all those things. Tell Paige and Natalie Mary sent you. You will LOVE the way you look and feel!

After finally having the courage to trust another hairstylist years after this incident, I started…read moreto reflect on what made me so apprehensive to give it another shot. They also agreed that what I experienced was unacceptable and informed me of other ways I could have had my voice heard. You never truly forget how someone made you feel and I feel led to leave a review here so that future clients are a least aware of how this stylist may handle mistakes. First, I wanna say that this stylist does create a comfortable environment for her clients. At my appointment, she had good music playing and was easy to talk to. She had her natural hair out, which made me feel like I was in good hands especially considering it had been years since my last press. As she was preparing to flat iron my hair, the usual flat iron she used died and she had to pull out a different one. If I remember correctly, she would typically use a black ceramic one and the day of my appointment, she used a titanium (silver babybliss) one. From what I know now, titanium irons heat faster and typically need to be handled with more care than ceramic irons. This is where everything went downhill but I didn't know it yet lol...I enjoyed my deep condition and she trimmed my hair very well. My silk press came out nicely and I thought everything was alright. An hour or so after my appointment, my scalp started to feel sore and gradually got worse as the days dragged on...Initially, I'm thinking that my scalp is sore because I haven't had my hair pressed in years and of course heat on your scalp has never been the most comfortable thing. So I put heatless curls in my head and let it be. However, a few days later I noticed that there were dark marks scattered throughout my scalp which I realized were burn marks. They were on the smaller side but it definitely hurt. It's almost worse that they were small and in several different places rather than just in one centralized location. I took pictures of the ones I could easily see and texted her via the number styleseat provided. She did not answer for a few days and I then reached out via instagram where I was able to get a response. She apologized for her delayed response and then mentioned that me reaching out days later was unfortunate, but did offer a scalp treatment on my next visit and recommended tea tree oil for my scalp. Even though I thought it was thoughtful, ultimately I let her know coming back so soon would give me anxiety. To me, it was an uncomfortable power dynamic because god forbid something else went wrong. So instead, I asked for a partial refund of $39 which was half of the $78 silk press--not including the add on services. Which I felt like was more than fair considering my scalp was burnt. She then told me she does not offer refunds for completed services and did not apologize for the damage done. I understand this policy in certain situations, however when there is actual damage (which took a while to heal btw) caused to someone, I feel like exceptions should be made. I did at least try to partially dispute it with my bank through an automated system, but failed to actually speak to someone, which obviously did not lead anywhere. Lol but you win some and you lose some. What I feel like was the most disappointing part of this experience was that not too long after our conversation, I tried to leave a review on style seat and I discovered I was blocked from booking and leaving a review. Being blocked from booking was fine because I was too traumatized to go back anyways, but now I can't even leave a review? #wereyousilentorwereyousilenced Lol I was honest, fair, and respectful anytime I communicated with her so to proactively block me from sharing my experience was extremely disheartening and unprofessional. It really is less about the money and more about how I was treated afterwards. I feel like some stylists hold their clients to standards that they don't even follow themselves. Because how was me bringing this to her attention 4 days later (the approximate time it took for my scabs to form) an issue, but she also responded to me 4 days later as well? Mind you, I had to reach out through two different communication channels to get a response...Why aren't clients given the same grace? I don't expect much to come from this especially since it was so long ago. Although, I do hope that this helps someone in the future in case this behavior is a pattern. Anyways, this is just a warning to customers that regardless of the high ratings you may see, some stylists may be suppressing reviews so just be careful!
