The worst part about it not doing your own hair, is trusting it in the hands of another. I was randomly on YELP and decided to finally find a hair stylist. I moved to Atlanta about a year ago, and still had not found "the one." Alexa is simply amazing. I have natural hair that is super thick, and lots of it. I love being natural, but I tend to wear my hair straight majority of the time. When I went in for my appointment, I was started on right away, and on time. I was walking out the door about an hour later with soft hair, sleek edges, and the perfect amount of body. Now for the ultimate test. This hair has survived through Atlanta humidity, through my ball cap wearing, and through sweaty workouts. 5 days later, and my hair looks exactly the same as it did when I left the salon. I hired her for a wedding I attended mind you I was searching for a while for a good makeup artist and hair stylist!!! and not only did she leave me flawless and happy but she also left both my sisters and mother feeling amazing!!! Love love love this chick! A girlfriend of mine took me to Heat Lounge to get a style for my 29th birthday! This is when I met Alexa. I told her how I recently had 10 inches cut off to make my current long bob. I also told her that the stylist didn't incline the bob as much as I would have liked. Best stylist I've ever had hands down. Extremely professional and friendly. She explains everything in detail each style if needed. She has did installs and my natural hair and I've left with more knowledge on how to maintain healthy hair each time. Easy to contact for appointments and she has a flexible schedule. I took my 11 year old granddaughter to Alexa for the first time today. It was an amazing experience for my granddaughter and me. My granddaughter has multi-racial hair, very curly, coarse and frizzy. When we left today her hair looked amazing and 100 times more healthy. Alexa was very professional, outgoing and a terrific individual. I got my hair done by Alexa last weekend and she did an incredible job! The salon was beautifully decorated and very clean. I came to her with not a whole lot of instruction, I just asked for a cut and color and fully trusted her to do her magic and she did! Alexa is an amazing stylist and colorist. I have been seeing her for about 2 years and I highly recommend her. She takes appointments in the salon but also travels to you if you can't make it in.
