I found one and only one open booking at Milk + Honey nail salon today near home. They do soakless pedicures, which I'm not a big fan of. At the end of the day, I am most concerned with the final outcome not the journey to the end result. Although there is something to be said for soaking your feet in warm water. Milk + Honey uses warm wet towels to clean your feet. I got the standard pedicure. I'm going to Las Vegas tomorrow for a conference. I will be wearing sandals mostly. So, it is super important to have my feet looking nice. Milk + Honey are sustainability conscious. I was served chamomile tea with a cup that had these captions, " Certified Compostable " and "NO TREE" " No trees were harmed in the making of this cup." in addition, they had water bottle refillable station...first time I have seen this in a nail salon. Love this! Srija did a nice job on my feet. She was gentle in handling my feet and super precise in cutting my cuticles. I was also given 4 choices of lotions for my feet - Energize (my choice), Rosemary, Calm and Unscented. She ended with a foot massage which put me in and out of sleep. This is also a med spa. He relayed all of the different techniques that Rebekah had utilized and that the pain in his neck was indeed much better. It's a full body treatment that begins with dry brushing followed by an amazing body scrub then wrapped up like a burrito. After the wrap your Vichy shower begins and it's Devine! After that it's followed with a 50 minute massage. It is the best bang for your buck in town! Bill and Yoshi are the BEST! Be prepared to get your hair wet since you're basically having someone bathe you. I feel like a million bucks every time I leave!

I wake up at 3AM each day and didn't receive it that evening. I replied the next morning at an hour that wouldn't be TOO inconsiderate (7:30 am) with a compliment and what was going to be my confirmation...(seeming as how I'm aware that 3AM when I get up wouldn't be, despite the late hour I was sent the text... ) I am promptly replied to with "you never replied so gave away your appt. My first visit was last night and I told Michael about all of my ailments. She listened and recommended some non-massage options to manage my pain in the future. When we got down to business it was just what I needed. She found the tight spots and didn't let up on them until they gave in. She found spots that I didn't even realize were tight and loosened them up. I left the session so relaxed that I fell right in to bed once I was home and slept soundly through the night.
