These range from stylists to waxers. Many of the professionals who rent lofts allow for online booking through the Salon Loft website. With COVID, the waiting area is closed. Customers are to text who their appointment is with, and that person will let them know when it is safe to enter. My appointment was with Stephanie Castrucci. Stephanie took time cutting my hair. On that she did a good job. I would give the cut 4 stars. I was more impressed with the cut than the highlights. ALL other places I have had my hair colored at have shown color swatches to confirm the color I am describing is what they have. This has been the case no matter the stylist I have seen for color. (Unless it is a repeat appointment, and they remember my color.) Stephanie got right to mixing, with no visual confirmation. Resulting color was more oragne than I would have liked. Color also didn't go all the way to the roots in most places. This made the color immediately look like the hair had alreay grown out for a few weeks. The color I give 2.5 stars. I averaged the stars out to 3.

Search her name in the reviews at Salon Beck and you'll see what I mean. She has fixed my hair so many times. On my most recent visit she fixed my hair (yet again)- it had been dyed completely black by a stylist in California. She is an amazing colorist and her cuts are always perfect. I don't have to explain much- just tell her an idea of what I want and leave happy. Highly highly recommend.

Instead they offered to fix my hair for free. I'm not sure anyone would trust coming back to have their hair fixed/redone after setting for almost 5 hours and not receiving what they asked/paid for. This "Master colorist" with "41 years " experience is a joke. She not only did a terrible uneven, poorly placed foil job, she doesn't understand the basic chemistry of what she's doing. I initially reached out 4 days later to let her know i was not happy with the work. I sent her pictures and she accused me of doing something to my hair. It turned out the lighting was bad making the pictures appear even worse than it was. She didn't reply anymore. The next day I sent pictures taken outside in daylight and some with my hair washed and styled. I explained the previous pictures must have been due to the lighting. I requested a refund of the color portion. She didn't respond. So last night I called her out on her lack of knowledge and professionalism and filed a complaint with my credit card company to get my money back. I was going to let her keep the tip but not now.

This woman looked insulted when I showed her a blonde photograph(I assumed this was too much work for her to do) she assumed we were there for highlights. I said no all over color as she has heavy highlights. She looked puzzled, I said look if you are unable to do this I would be happy to go else where. She said no I got this now, my daughter sits she applies die all over and sets a 25 minute timer. During this time we learn she's getting ready for a concert eating dinner clearly excited for her plans (no harm there). Till my daughter's hair is dyed brown with what was supposed to be a trim looks like a toddler chopped away at the ends of her hair with dull play scissors. I will never ever return to this establishment and I will indefinitely share this expirence with everyone I know. My 14 year old devastated at the beginning of a very important chapter of her life. However, in this case, the person involved seems either unwilling or unable to reconcile the impact they had. I hired Taylor Robinson to do my hair for my wedding on July 25th, as well as 5 other members of my wedding party. After an in person trial at the Dew or Dye salon and text communications to confirm details over weeks in advance, the big day came! When the agreed meeting time came and went and incessant messages and phone calls on my and my wedding party's part went unanswered, we were able to find a phone number for someone close to Taylor to reach out and try to figure out what was going on. It was only then, after almost an hour after the agreed upon meeting time, that I finally received a text back from Taylor saying she had to take a trip to visit an ill family member and that our appointment had slipped her mind. While Taylor was able to find an emergency replacement, the new stylist wasn't able to meet until 3 pm, three hours after the planned time. The emergency stylist was great, but I ended up being over an hour and a half late to my venue and had to miss out on important pictures, wedding day traditions, and more. After all this, Taylor doesn't seem to understand the gravity of her actions and how they negatively impacted one of the most important days of my and my loved ones' lives. I am very hurt and disappointed by the lack of understanding and professionalism and I highly doubt I or anyone in my family will be a customer of Taylor, or Dew or Dye, in the future.
