Went here on Saturday to pick up some pies for our gathering to watch some college football games. As soon as I walked in the employee was super nice and helpful. Took my order and even suggested the "garlic knots" which were amazing and a must try. The pizzas was hot fresh and good quality ingredients. The sauce had a good sweet tomato taste with good flavor you can tell it's homemade. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a NY style pizza in Cobb county area you will not be disappointed with Sals! read more

We had small pizza , a pizza roll & Caesar salad last night for pick up ..first the pizza was very good but the Caesar salad was made with iceberg lettuce not one piece of romaine was even cut up into the salad? I usually don't complain but you really can't make a Caesar salad with iceberg lettuce.. my bill was $47 plus I left a tip.. kinda frustrating to pay that price with the salad they way it was made.. please understand how to fix the salad with romaine lettuce instead of iceberg. I walked in and no one was there, but they showed up promptly. I asked a few questions then ordered the Italian with NO onions. Mine had onions all over it. Not that I dislike onions, but sometimes they linger. Some days I just want to forgo the lingering effect. The sandwich was great though! They don't sell pizza by the slice. There is no seating. To the Sal's Manager (I am told there isn't one by the person on the phone.) I called to tell you I received a dried out eggplant parm sandwich with absolutely no tomato sauce on the eggplant. There was a very small amount of sauce under the eggplant on the roll. I wasn't looking for a refund or a replacement. I simply wanted you to know what I received and send a photo. The girl on the phone first said eggplant doesn't come with sauce and then checked and said the chef told her it's on there. The sauce is not on there and I was trying to ask how I could send a photo but she wouldn't stop talking , didn't acknowledge my concern, or offer an apology. The quality has been dropping over the past year and today's order was the last straw. We ordered teriyaki chicken wings that were covered in a quart of sauce that leaked all over the whole order. They were also so salty they were inedible. The $7 tiramisu was literally two bites. Lastly the picture on the menu shows two cannolis per order yet you only get one. I think that's fraud. Jet's Pizza is a thousand times better. Stay away from this place. read more

So I just have to say that to date, this is still the only place that I've found delicious zeppolis in the area. The pizza was EXTREMELY greasy, but it was also delicious. Unfortunately, there was ALOT of heartburn to follow, but honestly I wasn't even that upset. I generally dislike chicken on the bone, but the wings here were amazing, and I ate them up. The garlic knots were my least favorite part, but there was actually nothing wrong with them, I just loved the taste of everything else! New ownership explains it. Order was wrong after deliver from Grub hub - so I had to drive to the store to get my correct order. Pizza dough was raw in the middle, meatballs on the pizza tasted old. The food is good but the customer service and reliability is the pits! Placed a catering order for a very important business meeting I was hosting and they never showed with the food! Finally retuned my call 20 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered (they had doors locked and lights off all morning) and made excuses and said it would be another 40 minutes. Um NO. Too late- Meeting lunch wrecked. To top it off the owner nor the manager ever called to apologize! It's been over a week. Honestly we placed another catering order from them a year ago and they were an hour late. Should have learned my lesson then but wanted to give them another shot. My wife and I were craving pizza (what else is new) and she convinced me to give Sal's another try. This is the best experience we have had with Sal's so far. We ordered a couple pizzas and both were excellent. We also ordered a calzone and mozzarella sticks which were both also very good. I hope they keep up this consistency! Multiple failures from this business. This was our first time trying sals; sadly probably won't ever try it again. The lady who took our Togo order was off by 14 dollars she told us $21 and the delivery guy said $35. We called back to double check and she admitted to giving us the wrong total, but wait there's more. I ordered extra crispy wings that came soggy and not crispy at all. We also ordered chicken Alfredo that was under seasoned up charged for a caesar salad that came with no dressing. Sal's is an extremely good and hearty italian place with huge portions that are priced very fairly. On paper you might think you're paying a lot, but the amount they give you is great for the price we pay. When we went tonight we had a little bit of a wait, nothing longer than you'd get at a restaurant, but just because it wasn't ready when we first got there they threw in free garlic knots and gave a two liter on the house to us after I asked to add it to the order! I was going to pay and they still provided great service and were really nice about it overall. Will definitely be coming back, because of the good service and the amazing food. This is my second review but I feel the need to leave it again. My first review I wrote was the first time I ordered from Sals. 2019 sometime. First off, the food is FABULOUS. We order at least once a week. But It's their implementation that's the problem. I always order delivery. I am not exaggerating but 8/10x something is wrong. I hate to call and complain so I started leaving notes with my orders asking that they double check everything and it still keeps happening. So, here I am leaving another comment. We've ordered several times from Sals. Their pizza is the best around, hands down. I also always order a pasta dish. My favorite is the chicken francese, The shrimp portifino pasta is really good too. Both pasta dishes are enough to feed two people if you add a salad. My children enjoy the garlic knots. I checked the reviews before I ordered. Everyone complained that their orders was always wrong when they received their food. I said ok I'll keep my delivery order simple. 45 minutes delivery time and a bit more expensive then other pizza restaurants in the area. Pizza arrived, it was more of a cardboard tasting pizza! My wing order was wrong!!! I asked for garlic Parmesan. I received golden honey. Call Sal's they offer to swipe it out from what I wanted. Which would that another 45 minutes. Or 50% off next. Other the pizza was disgusting, and so where the wings. So now I'm suck with 50% that I dont want , being that the food sucks and service. read more
