I'm interested on learning but I don't see the address so I can see if you're close enough to me?

Thank your the your question. I don’t post the address because I teach from my home. But I live on Garden Way in Santa Clara, very close to the Bascom / 880 exit.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear how supportive, organized, and professional the staff and instructors are. The instructors do an incredible job of balancing discipline with encouragement, helping the kids build confidence while genuinely enjoying what they're doing. Watching my daughter perform, I could clearly see how much growth she's had--not just in technique, but in confidence and stage presence--and that credit absolutely goes to the training and care she receives here. The recital itself was well run, thoughtfully choreographed, and showcased each dancer in a way that made them feel proud of their hard work. As a parent, it means a lot to see a studio that truly invests in its students. I'm very grateful to the entire Dance Affair team for creating such a positive environment and for helping my daughter shine on stage. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality dance instruction and a supportive community.

This studio has challenged her and she has grown so much to be a better dancer and person. I wish I had moved her to this studio sooner. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. If there is any concerns addressed they do their best to resolve it. When greeting on phone, I believe they should say their name first so It sounds more welcoming. And not so stiff sounding. Especially, since the person on the other end of phone probably doesn't know how sweet the office Staff are.

I have never more happy about a decision I've made. Not only has she drastically improved in just two years, getting a title, scholarships and awards to boot. But, more importantly we've found a new incredible family. These kids and parents all truly care about each other and it's so beautiful. No drama just unbelievable support and great vibes. The teachers are the most amazing humans who truly care about your kid and have a great balance of cheering them on and guiding them to their best potential. I adore every single one of them. They have given my daughter (and I) so much love and support that I'm forever grateful for. I also take their adult classes which has been the most amazing experience for me as well. Yes, it's great fitness and fun. But it has also honestly been such a light in my life on my darkest days and been so great for my mental health. You get the same incredible teachers and amazing supportive community. Who knew one trial class could change our lives so much for the better? Forever grateful for our new family!

I found Mambonova, ironically through Yelp, and am so glad I did! I have taken levels 1-3 for salsa as well as 2 bachata classes here. Their rates are very reasonable plus you get a great teacher and quality lessons! Hector is an AMAZING instructor and he is very passionate about dance and teaching! He teaches salsa on2 and the classes usually look like this: -Stretching and warm up -Footwork -practice with music -Partner work -Practice with music At the end of every class he demonstrates everything again slowly with counts and lets you record so you can practice on your own! Hector really encourages all the students to practice outside of class as he is very mindful of his students learning time. I've met so many new people through Mambonova and through latin dance! I'll be trying out for the salsa performance team this month! There are multiple levels for the teams so anyone at any level can try out for them! 100% will be recommending Mambonova to anyone trying to pick up a new hobby!

Also amazing is the placement of dancers who pay for private lessons always seem to be much more prominently showcased. One particular teacher is quite bipolar, yelling one week and 'i brought donuts' the next, our kids are downright frighted by A. While most of the instructors here are very professional, supportive, and put the best dancers in the front, sometimes you can really tell who the 'golden child' is (sometimes as obvious as the offspring of a faculty) by how they will always be featured and front and center. New for 2025 is their SPOTLIGHT Award, which will be handed out by staff to the most Above and Beyond, and who do you think those will go to? Betting right now the same set of insiders that already get the best spots. There are also many extra fees and costs that are just added to your account without asking: including a year end 'pizza party celebration' that didn't include any actual pizza, 'team bonding' events like going to a movie, or 60second Holiday performance AND a season end show that require more makeup, shoes & costume purchases. I guess kids had a great time but no thought by staff on costs parents have to pay for these add-on. Updated to add: make sure your kid keeps an eye on their things... I've heard recently that several things have gone missing, wallets & phones gone through, cash & clothing stolen. Given the size of the number of studios I suppose there's no way to do a locker system but the casualness of the staff response to the thefts was a little troubling. I had to hear about it from the dancers as nothing was ever mentioned to the parents. Youd be better off at a smaller, more caring studio, IMO.
