Professionalism - 5 stars Patience - 5 stars…read more I wanted to do something fun on my mom's birthday and we decided to have a 1-hr private lesson for our group of 6 ppl (4 adults + 2 kids). I called and spoke with Alessia and she was very patience answering to all my questions. We are interested in learning ballroom dance and she said we can tell her what we wanna learn at the time of the lesson. The location we went was 121 Weaverly in Pasadena. The location was easy to find (10 mins walking distance from old Pasdena town) and my mom chose to learn Waltz. Alessia was our instructor and she was trying to teach us as much as she can within the hour time. She was nice, professional, and patience with all of us. It was a very pleasant experience for all of us.

I especially like her attention to detail in the technique, and in the proper way to lead and follow. If you want to learn Salsa, Swing or any of the Ballroom dances you can't go wrong with classes at Let's Dance SP. Alessia recently convinced me to try International Latin and while difficult, I can see definite progress. I especially appreciate her helping me develop my body action which transfers over to my social salsa dancing. Drop by any of the classes and check it out yourself, you won't be disappointed.

For a dance studio, they do have a good amount of positives…read more They offer an average price of $18 for a drop-in class (whether it's for adults or youth classes). The instructors try to be inclusive and are consistent (meaning they teach more than one class every week). They all have a wide range of dance experience and you will not be disappointed by their expertise. You will not find difficulty joining or building a community as there are a lot of regulars from the area that are nice. The building itself is spacious and rental prices seem to be good as well (minimum starting price is $20 an hour). The different spaces they have varies between 4 rooms (Warehouse and Studios A/B/C). There is a small lot and if that's full, there is a decent amount of street parking. It's close to the freeway entrance and plenty of food and other attractions around the area. However, with some positives also comes some areas to improve upon. With the limited parking and street parking, I would recommend coming at least 10-15min early to make sure you can arrive on time to class. Their system tends to be slow at times and you may miss the first 3-10 minutes of class trying to look for parking or wait due to slow check in times. The other focus is the variety of dance classes (in terms of competency levels and styles of dance). It seems that this studio focuses more on hip-hop, Salsa, and Contemporary classes being the most accessible (sprinkled with a couple of jazz, heels, and k-pop once a week). They have the same round of teachers and it would be nice to try different dance styles and genres. This studio definitely can continue to upgrade and grow more! Would try this place at least once and see if it's your vibe.

You can learn salsa, samba, Lindy hop, jazz, contemporary, to even Bollywood! The pricing is reasonable and parking is available on their lot and on the street. Can't wait to keep learning from some of my favorite instructors!!

Our daughter absolutely thrives here and has discovered a passion for dance and theater. She started out just doing hip hop, but now she takes ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, contemporary, musical theater and aerial arts. She has made close, life-long friendships and has an incredible mentor in the owner, Cassandra Daurden whom I admire greatly. The performances are professional and spectacular to watch. I can't even believe the aerial skills and singing voices that come from these kiddos! They are not your everyday kids dance recitals, they are stunning top-notch performances. This is an incredible gem and we are filled with gratitude for this amazing DPAC community.

Nikolay is an absolute gem: incredibly patient, highly skilled, and masterful at teaching complex Latin techniques in a way that finally makes sense to my body and brain. He breaks everything down clearly, uses perfect analogies and cues and even writes it down tailored to how I learn, and never rushes or makes me feel frustrated -- even when I need something repeated multiple times. What makes it even better is Maria, who guides me beautifully on the ladies part all those subtle details I need to polish elevated my dancing to a whole new level The studio itself is fantastic: spacious and perfectly conducive to learning, with plenty of room to move freely and focus without feeling cramped. The staff /Dance instructors ( Lenny Sho Rebekah )are so welcoming and friendly -- they make every visit feel warm and supportive from the moment you walk in. Best of all, this place truly has dance for everybody at all levels -- whether you're a complete beginner, intermediate, advanced, or even a professional looking to deepen your skills. They also cater to people with disabilities, making the experience inclusive and accessible for everyone. It's rare to find a studio this welcoming and adaptable

This dude is as awesome as they come, so full of energy and he makes you bring out your best whether you want to or not. The core philosophy is you can be at ANY level of dance and come out of your first class with a smile, a good sweat, and a little pep in your step. After being absent for almost a year due to a knee injury, I returned to Adam's class 4 weeks ago. Through zero fault of Adam, I was so excited and pushed myself that I went home after class exhausted and seeing floaters shaped like lightning bolts!!! Amazing! Bottom line: you will have a good time, enjoy the live DJ (Justyle is my favorite, look him up), and be glad you came!

Sure it's 25 minutes down a one way street, but man, if that turned into two lanes in a blue moon, I'd be 15 minutes away from a great Thursday night dance class. I am beyond thankful to have a class closer to home, since this has added and aided in my fitness goals and allowed me to live my almost secret dancing dreams. While I am a Zumba instructor, moving from your safe zone of repeating dance steps, to a full on dance class is beyond intimidating (especially since I do think I spaz-out more than dance most of the times). Luckily, Adam is a patient, energetic, funny and kind instructor. He is a great dancer, and wonderful at breaking down the steps intuitively that makes it very easy to follow. Did I mention that he's quite encouraging as well? I credit this class and the Groov3ment for helping me become a more agile person. Dancing in these classes have helped me lean up, intensify my own Zumba classes, and challenged me t use my new found understanding of how my body moves, to other interests. I'm more confident when I dance and teach in my classes, and have found it much easier to practice my guitar playing. What else could one ask for? A great mix form a live DJ, sweet moves, awesome environment, great energy from other participants and of course, a totally great instructor, it's all here.
