She made eye contact and smiled at me, but never said "seat yourself". So we stood in line behind the family that was paying, waited for them to be done, and walked up to the counter. The cashier asked "How may I help you?" to which I replied, "Do we seat ourselves?" (There was no signage posted to either wait to be seated or to seat yourself). She told us to sit wherever. None of the tables had menus, so we grabbed a couple on our way to our chosen table. When taking our order, the waitress was a bit soft spoken and I believe hard of hearing. My partner ordered the 2-egg breakfast, but when I heard her say "huevos con chorizo" I had to stop her. I know he doesn't eat chorizo. He also doesn't like to ruffle feathers so he was going to just go with it. But if a customer is paying for something, I believe they should get what they want. He ordered all at once, "2-egg breakfast with over easy eggs". She started writing his correct order, then asked "how do you want your eggs?" LOL. I ordered my machaca omelette. The waitress didn't know that existed on the menu, so I had to point it out. My omelette had a choice of hash browns, home fries or beans, but when she didn't ask which, I figured I'd just go with whatever of those 3 came. Maybe she was new, because 5 mins after "submitting our order" to the kitchen, we were asked what kind of potato (or beans) we wanted on both our plates. My parter was also then asked if he wanted bread with his meal. Umm, if it comes with bread for no additional charge, why not just include it? Our food finally arrives. My date's plate was placed on the table and then before he can grab utensils it was immediately taken away because...and I quote..."wait, that doesn't look right". It looked right to both of us as it sat there for all of 5 seconds. Honestly, she could've just asked if she wasn't sure. She took the plate back to the server station, grabbed our ticket, then brought the same plate back to us because, "yeah, that's the right one". As for the bread that was supposed to come with it, we watched her push the plunger on the toaster that wasn't plugged in...so...yeah...we knew we would be waiting a little longer for it. We sat there chatting til she realized her mistake. We finally got the bread. Yay. I only attempted to get one refill for this meal. I got it, but no additional ice added to my cup, so there's that. We finished our meal, piled our dishes together and pushed them to the side of the table. We waited for about 10 mins like that as she passed us a few times then decided to sort dirty dishes instead of collect ours (and bring the check). So we just stood up and walked up to the cashier and waited to pay. Again, there is no real structure to the dining experience here. No one trained/is training the new girl. Portions were a bit small for the price. Food, however, was tasty. Then again, how do you screw up bacon & eggs or an omelette?

I knew I wanted to try the aguas - (we had horchata, Jamaica and pepino) but they also had fresa and another - they looked so good and all three of ours were SO GOOD. The Jamaica was on the more sour side (which I also love) and the horchata on the creamier side (which I also love but could be empalagoso / overpowering for some). I also got two tacos - a cabeza and a tripa, as well as a queso con pastor with all fixings which were piña, cilantro, cebolla, and aguacate! My daughter tried the quesa birria with consomé combo, and my mom had tacos de tripa and asada - all were soooo good. The taco shell on my queso taco was pretty crispy and i accidentally hurt my gum so that wasn't pleasant so be warned they are crispy. The consomé helps soften them a bit and I recommend it. Wasn't a fan that it was served in a tall drink cup we opposed to a smaller bowl that would make it easier for dipping, but not that big a deal. The tortillas are handmade there, you can tell and served on corn - don't recall them asking me what I wanted so unsure on whether they even have flour or if standard is corn. The salsa bar has a good amount of options, red salsa, an oily very spicy salsa, rábanos, pepino, the limes were kinda dry, pickled purple onions, cilantro and cebolla, a smoked salsa and they had a hot bar next to that which had big jalapeños, warmer, warm grilled onions, and a warm salsa too. Containers on top for there or to go. I'd definitely come back again, it was great and I think definitely rivals taco boys or ta carbon, I'd say on the pricier side for taco spot but it's the going rate for the type of spot with the type or vibes. The food came out quick, so did our to go order so THANK YOU! Also, had someone come to the table twice to check in and ask if we needed anything else which was really nice too! Try it, you'll be pleased and so much to try. All of our food was delicious.

It wasn't greasy, the flavors were perfection and my lawd was that burrito PACKED! It came with a delicious avocado crema type sauce and green salsa, both delicious. They also added grilled onions and peppers with fresh cucumber and lemons. For $10 if filled both of us. (Be prepared, they are cash only) Great value and super tasty. I'd love to try more items on their menu.
