This location on the strip was an easy walk (through numerous air-conditioned casinos), and well worth it. They will let you try as many samples as you like. I only tried 3, settled on two from their chef series. Caramelized plantain with spicy pecan toffee - conceived by Greggory Gourdet. Absolutely delicious. The spicy pecans really made this. A little heat that hit all the right spots. Cheesecake with Salted Yuzu Curd - conceived by Brady Isiwata Williams. Light, flavorful, bright. Both together were the perfect afternoon snack, each complementing the other. I'm ready to go back and try more. read more

Date of visit: July 24, 2026 This has been a favorite of mine at Disney Springs, so was excited to see that not one, but two locations have popped up on The Strip (with a third elsewhere in the Valley), and when I was hanging out with my favorite ice cream obsessed friend, I knew I had to see if the magic continued out here in the West. This is the location attached to (but not accessible from) The Flamingo. And the answer is a resounding "yes!" While the prices are about as scary as you might expect on The Strip, the ice cream is as good as Orlando and we lucked out that there wasn't a crazy long line, which is what I am used to in Florida. The staff was super sweet and advised us to take all the time we needed in deciding and another benefit of the lack of line was no guilt in asking to try a few different flavors to ensure we were making the best decision possible for our money. I went with a salted caramel shake (sans whipped cream because that's a scam) and it was divine. There's a good chance I've had this flavor already but why mess with perfection? An area of opportunity? The small tables to hold your confections were all dirty when we stopped in, a faux pas for the price and that it wasn't busy before, during, and after our time there. read more

I always love getting ice cream from Salt and Straw back in the Bay Area but in this location I experienced a very disappointing customer service experience. I simply asked for a cup of water while visiting the store and was told that wasn't an option. Instead, I was directed to purchase a small bottled water for nearly $8 It's hard to understand why a dessert shop wouldn't provide a basic cup of water, especially for paying customers. A small act of hospitality can make a big difference, and this policy felt unnecessarily unfriendly and customer-unfocused. The experience left a negative impression and made me feel more like a transaction than a valued customer. Hopefully management reconsiders this policy and puts more emphasis on customer care. read more

This place delivers an experience every time. This popular chain has been in my repertoire since the Bay Area. The flavor creativity and surprising mixes keep me excited for more. I've had a goat cheese blueberry ice cream as well as black sesame miso to classic buttercake strawberry and creamy lavender. My favorite is tasting time before I make up my mind on which one to enjoy. The scoops are massive which is why they are pricey but it's high quality product so it makes sense. I am happy to see more locations opening up around the city. No seating available and the lines get long so don't lose patience the tram is all ways ready to make your moment special. read more

It was a really good flavor, satisfied the salty and sweet for me. There was no line inside and I was able to get my order right away. It's pretty hidden due to the next door construction, but it's very spacious inside with seats. They have both ice cream and sorbet, in cups (free) or in waffle corn ($2.5), you can have samples before you purchase like any other ice cream shops. It was my first time at Salt & Straw and I only went because my friend swore this was her absolute favorite ice cream spot and totally worth breaking her sugar fast for... and honestly, she was RIGHT! They had so many unique flavors and the coolest part was that they let us try them all! The host was so sweet, patient, and took her time helping us sample flavors until we found our favorites. I was honestly full just from the samples alone, but my friend happily got her favorite flavor anyway. Next time I'm definitely going on an empty stomach because this ice cream was unbelievably creamy and delicious. They even had puppy ice cream which completely stole my heart. If there was a place like this closer to home, I would absolutely be taking myself and my puppy there every other day because... why not? I have been to Salt & Straw in Miami so it was nice to see a familiar sight along the Vegas strip. The 2 girls working were delightful and continued to offer us samples while we waited for others in our party. Flavors are unique such as honey lavender, strawberry balsamic with black pepper, pear & blue cheese, and coffee & love nuts. I enjoyed all my samples. Although flavors sound unusual they marry well together and all are very creamy. Prices are reasonable for the quality. They have a freezer full of pints to-go along with some retail items. I've been a huge fan of Salt Straw for years but this has to be their worst location. Prices are twice the ones in the Bay Area ($18.00 + tax for a double scoop cone! What?), tables were dirty, they don't give water (but sure you can buy a $7 water bottle with your $18 ice cream? Why not) and as it's a franchise location they don't honor the Salt and Straw Rewards program. Sometimes it's better to stay small and beautiful than letting your brand and reputation going downhill just for the sake of profits. read more

I'm absolutely in love with this brand! I've been following them on social media for years and was dying to try it once I walked by this location on the strip. The place was super clean and the staff was really friendly. They let us have samples of whatever we wanted and answered any questions that we had. I went ahead and had the salted brownie waffle cone bowl with the limited cherry red velvet cheesecake ice cream and a cookie dough scoop. Overall, I think the cookie dough didn't really taste like cookie dough at all, which I found disappointing because that's my favorite flavor of ice cream. But the cherry red velvet cheesecake ice cream was divine, and if I could order a pint of it, I totally would. The cone had great flavor but was way too thick in some parts so it was hard to eat. The one thing I didn't like was the lack of seating within the space. For how large it was in there, I thought they would have more places to sit. Especially with it being on the strip, but I did find out later that further down the strip there was a second location, so maybe they don't get that much business to where people actually need to sit. It was just super convenient to come across because it was hot outside when we were walking around. 10 out of 10 would recommend this ice cream to anybody else who likes unique flavors! read more

I'm a fan of Salt & Straw, from way back when it was only in in Portland, and I was there to celebrate its opening in Los Angeles. So, quite happy they have this location right in the strip. Easily accessible while walking thru, even with construction. Weekend closes at midnight, so we all got some delicious ice cream past 11 PM. The flavors are are fun, with some traditional ones. Sampled a new offering, and ended up getting one of the favorite traditional flavors. The space is open, employees kind, samples generous. and when we got there plenty of seats for our family and few other parties. read more
