While we were waiting to even order drinks, we looked at the menu for Wood Foot and decided to go there for dinner instead. Rather than awkwardly leaving the second restaurant, we decided we'd just have a drink and then head over to Wood Foot. Wood Foot happened to be across the parking lot from the second place we attempted to eat. After the four of us had been eating a lot of seafood during our trip, we were all craving a good burger and fries or some other comfort food. Wood Foot definitely fit the bill. My husband and I shared the frickles and the Boss Burger with fries. The frickles were the best we've ever had! The burger was really good, and the beer was tasty, too. We love craft beer and enjoy trying different breweries while we travel. After dinner, once the patio had cleared out a bit, we went outside and enjoyed the live music on the patio.

Beers are available by the pack/case or singles in the refrigerated section if you prefer to mix it up a bit and try a variety of craft beers, ciders, etc. Prices on the beers & alcohol seemed reasonable which was surprising since it's a very touristy area of town. There were also some very high ticket bottles too so probably a good option if you have any alcohol aficionados or bourbon connoisseurs in your life. We completed an entry form for a monthly drawing to win wine which they will ship to your home if you win! Angie educated us on the muscadine grapes grown at the winery to make all types is wine. They grow carlos, white grapes, and noble, red grapes. We sampled at least 10 wines. I purchased one bottle of blackberry and one bottle of white sangria. These were my favorites! I also purchased a stemless wine glass with their logo for $4. The wine I purchased was reasonably priced. And I loved supporting a local winery! I also suggest trying a pretzel and a cracker which were in containers on the wine bar. They sell these yummy seasoning packets to which I bought two flavors lol. Stop in for your free samples!
