Service is great and they are very friendly but a bit slow so don't come in a hurry. As a side note the bathrooms are really nice.

After an early start (by American standards) bar hopping on Pink Street it was time to fill our bellies. We were warmly greeted and shown a table. Our waitress was patient with our questions and made a few suggestions. We started with round of mojitos (the best we've had in recent memory) and perused the menu. Most items are tapas (small plates) so we ordered several dishes to try and share. We told our waitress to bring us the dishes we need to try as they all looked so good. She was enthusiastic and came up with excellent choices. While we waited for our food we chatted with a lovely couple at the table next to us. They were from Romania and visited Lisbon periodically to dine at all of José Avillez's establishments (I believe he has 7 in the Lisbon region). I knew we were in for a treat. Everything from the octopus and crab ceviche to the grilled octopus skewers to our beef Asian stir fry was flavorful and fresh. Our only regret was not ordering the 7 course prix fixe menu that our new friends next to us were enjoying. We finished our meal with coffee and tres leches to share. It was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal.

Food Quality: For around 8 euros you get a really fresh burger. I had the veggie Burger, which was more like a sandwich, but had a lot of really great and fresh roasted vegetables on it. So I can't judge on the meat quality. But everything was totally tastey. And the potato chips have been really crispy and yummy. Not drowned in oil. This was totally worth the money. Additional hint for best view point in Lisboa: leaving the location turn left and on the corner sharp left. You know, when you have the view. This is also not so croweded by tourists like this strange chapel.

We spoke with the server who indicated they would have lunch available till three and after seeing the delicious looking pan Asian menu we decided to come back after our walk. We are so glad that we did! It was a brisk but sunny day and we were able to sit out in a covered patio in the garden with beautiful plants and flowers all around. The server Was knowledgeable about the pan Asian menu, indicating some of the specialties from various parts of Asia. We selected a pod Thai dish which included black sesame and Julie and vegetables and was one of the best dishes I've ever had of that time. We also sampled some meat pastries, samosas, and a couple of salads. They also have burgers and other "American style" meals which also looks good. But the pièce de résistance was a salt and pepper chocolate cake which was one of the most delicious desserts I've ever eaten. It was a chewy chocolate cake dark but not better capped with sea salt and red pepper corns and was absolutely divine. We can't recommend the small restaurant and it's very menu enough to anyone who is lucky enough to be walking around Graca - And in fact if you are in Lisbon it is worth a bus or tram or even Uber ride to get there.
