We had a very short wait. There were customers sitting inside and out. Weather was super nice out at 10 am. There was a pretty quick turnover and we found a table. We ordered the 10 piece timbits, 4 different flavors were available, birthday cake, sour cream glazed, employee recommended, not bad, honey dipped, and filled golden snitch caramel, our favorite. These are bite size donut holes. We got double espresso. It actually came from a big machine. I'm really picky and it's okay. It went perfect with the timbits. $3.69 for 10 timbits was a great price for me. I love Stan's in Santa Clara, California and I have not found any donuts to match. We asked for both and got silverware. We asked for malt vinegar and it was brought to another table and we got nothing. The food was very greasy and basic because it had no seasoning on the fish or the chips. The cole slaw was good, the tartar sauce was not fresh made and it was a tiny portions. So came here to fill up gas and I have noticed lots of people buying stuff from here. Yes people are actually picking up snacks or drinks for their kids for school. Weird.... or interesting.... that Safeway is just around the corner. I mean prices at Safeway would definitely be cheaper. Again to get from one end of town to the other is only 15 mins drive. I would make the run for cheaper prices. People here don't just buy one or two things. They treat this 7-Eleven as their grocery store. The guy in front of me spent $50 on food here. To me this is shocking. Watched the guy beside me spend $40 on snacks. Yes in the morning the line goes slow. Thank goodness there are two people working. It's a short 5-10 minutes walk from the cruise port, and although the store was messy (!), I found the maple syrup I was looking for as souvenirs, so it was a fruitful shopping trip. They seem pretty short staffed though, it might be bc good workers seem to be hard to find. The strangest thing is they have this area in the front of the store next to the customer service desk where they are just throwing cardboard boxes they opened up and not organizing them or flattening them at all. What a mess. FYI for those who use Safeway's just for u coupons and app in the US, these don't seem to exist in Canada, they have a different system, not sure what it is though.

Options for groceries are very limited in Prince Rupert. Safeway is located very centralized just on the verge of downtown. Plenty of free parking here.
