So came here to fill up gas and I have noticed lots of people buying stuff from here. Yes people are actually picking up snacks or drinks for their kids for school. Weird.... or interesting.... that Safeway is just around the corner. I mean prices at Safeway would definitely be cheaper. Again to get from one end of town to the other is only 15 mins drive. I would make the run for cheaper prices. People here don't just buy one or two things. They treat this 7-Eleven as their grocery store. The guy in front of me spent $50 on food here. To me this is shocking. Watched the guy beside me spend $40 on snacks. Yes in the morning the line goes slow. Thank goodness there are two people working. Its like everybody buying so much stuff especially at 8am. Yes they offers basket at the front for people who are going to pick lots of stuff. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with that. I can't afford to spend $50 or $100 at 7-Eleven when I know I can get more for less at Safeway just around the corner. But again, I think lots of people working at the port as longshoreman probably make a lot. I heard one person makes $$$$ a year so I guess that $100 stock up on food here is ok. I noticed that their food section is very limited compared to the ones in Vancouver. However, they do have their usual like wings and hot dogs. Overall, its a clean 7-Eleven. Guess its just convenient. I am giving this place 4 stars because there are only 3 gas stations in town and 7-Eleven here opens 24 hours along with the gas station. People are friendly here. Since we arrived early, we had the all the options available to us. I chose a butter croissant while my wife ordered a slice of the peanut butter banana bread. We ate our food right outside the shop and enjoyed our treats tremendously. People must have notices us and our pastries, as many people lined up as we were eating. In hindsight, I would have ordered more treats right then and carried them throughout the day. But since we only had a few hours ashore, we unfortunately didn't get the chance for a return visit. I would have loved to try more of their pastries as well as their famous bread.

We had a very short wait. There were customers sitting inside and out. Weather was super nice out at 10 am. There was a pretty quick turnover and we found a table. We ordered the 10 piece timbits, 4 different flavors were available, birthday cake, sour cream glazed, employee recommended, not bad, honey dipped, and filled golden snitch caramel, our favorite. These are bite size donut holes. We got double espresso. It actually came from a big machine. I'm really picky and it's okay. It went perfect with the timbits. $3.69 for 10 timbits was a great price for me. I love Stan's in Santa Clara, California and I have not found any donuts to match. These are an okay substitute if you want donuts.

Like a lot of other cruisers from the ship, I made my way over to grab some treats, and the staff were friendly and upbeat despite the sudden rush. The matcha drinks were yummy and refreshing, and you can never go wrong with their classic donuts. I asked the young lady to pick the flavors she liked the most. I do have to give an apology to the local residents, though. Between all of us, we definitely overwhelmed the place! Thanks to the team for keeping their cool and serving everyone with a smile. The strangest thing is they have this area in the front of the store next to the customer service desk where they are just throwing cardboard boxes they opened up and not organizing them or flattening them at all.
