Saltwater Brewery in Delray Beach was an enjoyable experience. I got a bit lucky with parking, and the outdoor patio space had a welcoming, rustic vibe with large wooden tables and Corn Hole games. Trivia games every Wednesday night at 7pm. Inside, we were greeted by an energetic bartender, Kyle, who helped guide us through several drink choices. While the Strawberry Bone A Fide Blonde Belgian didn't quite impress, the Capt Hazy IPA definitely stood out. The Mango Habanero Locale was easily the best brew of the day with its balance of refreshing flavor and heat which lingered at the back of my throat with every swallow. The steak sandwich from the Stonehouse Market food truck was definitely a solid pairing with my cold craft brew which only set me back $12.00. The food truck is here every Sunday serving up food from a decent sized menu which also offers a Shepard's Pie. Although the bathroom wasn't modern, its unique historical wall diagram of an 1880 Dieryckx Alcohol Still provided good reading material. read more

Wonderful outside multi-purpose games and eating area. Inside the football games were on the big monitors. My puppy and I took a seat at the bar and the bartender served me a Capt Hazy IPA which maybe one of my favorite beers now. This bar was super pet friendly as long as they are in your control. This place is the worse brewery I have ever visit. Today I decided to stop by and have a beer or something to eat with girlfriend. Soonest we open the door I noticed there was a few customers sitting at the bar. No greetings from the person behind the bar "bartender or whatever he is" than we were sitting at the bar for 10 minutes or more, NO SIGN whatsoever of him coming towards us to provide some kind of customer service. This person should be fired on the spot. Or this place deserves to go out of business. He is absolutely an inept with no knowledge about customer service. Not much of a crowd slightly past happy hour on a Friday. Good beer selection, atmosphere but I find it difficult to find the entrance off of Atlantic, especially at night. I've been going to this place for years and I'm glad to see the fun atmosphere has not changed! After not coming for a while, I recently moved back to Delray Beach and came for a bingo night with some friends and what a pleasant surprise and turn out! I got a mango habanero beer which was so unique but I absolutely loved it! It's a fun, laid back brewery and the service is always good. The bartended are attentive and like most breweries will let you try samples before you commit to a full glass. I'm excited to live close to this place again and will be back more often. read more

This was my 2nd visit to SaltWater Brewery. I discovered this place last year from my PubPass. The location is right off of i-95, and easy for a quick drink if passing through the area. S and I each got one of their core beers with the PubPass...Screamin' Reels for me and Sea Cow Milk Stout for S. Both were delicious! The beer names are so fun at this place. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were a few other people walking in at the same time. I image it gets busier at night. They had some fun game options like cornhole and shuffleboard. We sat outside on the picnic tables. I like the super-casual vibe with tons of seating. Our bartender was great. I remember commenting on that the first time I went...just how friendly the staff was. Very average taproom with some pretty bad beers. Very rude and creepy owner, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated and made patrons feel very uncomfortable. Breweries are always a great experience because each one has something unique to offer. This brewery is special because they not only have delicious brews and the typical brewery vibe, but they also have a huge patio. They have tons of seating outdoors with corn hole, a deck, and are as dog friendly as it gets! Indoors they went for a warm, cozy style. They have dim lights and huge leather couches so you feel right at home. They even have a fish tank! This place is one of my favorite breweries after only my first visit. If I find myself up in Delray, I will definitely make a stop at Saltwater. They do a great job of mixing a cozy nautical ambiance with a hip and fresh vibe. The patio outside has cornhole (not sure if this is open with Covid), picnic tables, and bistro lights. Inside you feel like you're on deck of a ship. With the dark wood, fish murals, and nautical themed drinks, it has a nice Florida flair. I am definitely a lighter beer fan, so I enjoyed their flight with a variety of light beers. I really liked the Passionfruit beer for a hint of a sour. I've been on a brewery tour here before as well and it was a fun experience seeing behind the scenes. Dropped into this delightfully quirky local brewery for a pint or two while in town for business on a few days. Their craft beer selection is outstanding. Highly recommend the sea cow nitro milk stout, if you like darker brews. It was out of this world! Decor is comfortable, relaxed, laid-back, and features some really cool prints of sea life. On this particular night, the denizens were decidedly local, friendly, and interesting to observe. Beerista, Ryan, was super friendly and kept the banter and the brewskis flowing. read more

This is such a cute place to relax, almost feel like a low key area in Key West. It has open bench tables outdoors with corn holes and beer games. Outside top lightings are so cute. Inside has high tops and couches with a big screen TV to watch sports. They have events frequently and most are family where you can bring your kids where they can roam around freely. They had live music and occasional events. Dog friendly as well. The night I came, we tried a flight and my fav was the Grapefruit. The beers are so well made and taste so good. It was a good family crowd on a Saturday night. Nothing too crazy, just a low key chill night. They had a few food trucks that came by which were great for snacking. It is right next to the train tracks but you are so busy and deep in conversation that the train was unobtrusive. I will be back soon. read more

I've been here twice. The beer is barely drinkable. It's not a quality crowd. The bartender was rude both times and basically started fights. The manager tolerated it. Parking is a problem. Its convenience right off the highway is its only asset, but that also contributes to its roughness and the transient, trashy crowd. stopped by SaltWater on Saturday night around 8pm. First thought upon walking in was where is everyone?! Very empty but to our pleasure that meant excellent, basically one on one service. Apparently their food truck cancelled for the evening so no food was available. The bartender, I think his name was Thomas, was excellent. Very attentive and helpful with questions and allowed us to taste if we wished. I do not drink beer but my boyfriend really enjoyed the two flights he tasted. Half way through his second beer flight someone else ordered wine so it peaked my interest. I ordered the Pinot and it came in a can. It was marginal at best, definitely a skip. They also have a few reds and Chardonnay. After we paid we noticed they didn't charge me For my wine. Female bartender thanked us for the honesty and reswiped card. That's when we noticed the can of wine was $12. Wow, wish we would have known before ordering! Smell inside is horrible. Smells just like a frat house from college. Certainly brings back memories. However, place was clean inside and was in an old building that apparently was a windmill. It's right next to the tri rail train so it was cool to see the trains go by. read more

Saw this place while driving and decided to check it out. Looked like I arrived right before a crowd as I had just found an elusive parking spot (parking seemed kinda limited for a place this size imho) and grabbed a spot at the bar when just a few mins later it seemed like the place just started swarming with people and almost every barstool on either side of became occupied. Not sure what caused the influx, but it was something to see! Service here was a bit "hit or miss" for me as some of the bartenders were engaging and pleasant and seemed willing to explain the beers or make suggestions while others seemed to act like you were bothering them. It also seemed to be the same way with how quickly you got your beers, regardless of how busy any particular one seemed to be. The beer selection here is plentiful and do a decent job of offering a variety of styles. However, it is always quality vs quantity for me, and nothing I had really left an impression or stood out. There was a coffee pale ale that was a nice surprise. For the flights, they do a by the pour sort of pricing system for the 5oz samplers and again, the pours seemed to vary as well. The decor is fun and nautical and even inside it is very open and as weird as it sounds, their bathroom decor was a lot of fun too! However, for the beers and service, I don't know that I'd be back here if I'm ever in Del Ray Beach again. read more

My boyfriend and I went to saltwater brewery for some craft beer. We live down the road and we figured it was a great place to have a chill Sunday afternoon. When we got there Valerie recommended the flight. We ordered the Hefeweizen, the Don't Get Confused, the Crimson Current and the Mango Locale. They were all amazing and she did a great job at recommending the last two. The Don't Get Confused has 11% alcohol and offered an excellent variety of flavors. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back to enjoy the patio once the temperatures cool down a bit. And we loved Valerie! read more

We stopped by here after visiting the shopping/dining district of Delray, this brewery is located about 2.5 miles inland from the beach. Since we were pet sitting for family, we had our three small dogs with us. The patio here is GREAT! We visited on a Saturday around 3 PM and it wasn't TOO Busy. We found ample seating available and grabbed a seat at one of the picnic tables. They do have some lawn games as well. I enjoyed some nice breezes on the day we came and it was enjoyable to just chill here for a while. I'll be honest, neither of us are beer snobs. I ran in to pick something out while my husband was outside with the dogs. I went with a blueberry beverage and it turned out to be like a hard cider. I really enjoyed it, but one was enough for me. We had a relatively quick visit, but I enjoyed it. We interacted with a few friendly employees and bar patrons. Our pups were greeted warmly. Saltwater is right in the heart of downtown Delray Beach conveniently located right off the 95 exit for Atlantic and near the Tri-Rail station. There are some parking spots, but many people usually end up making makeshift parking spots in the dirt along the fence because the spots fill up quickly. There's usually a food truck here if you're hungry, and once you start drinking, who isn't? Inside there are some couches that have seen better days and plenty of tables, but I like the outdoor area better. There's a beachy vibe with all of the palm trees and string lights. Plus you can play cornhole. They have several beers on tap brewed in house and some other beers they feature along with wine. I like their Screaming Reels IPA. Be aware that you're feet away from the tracks, so the train IS loud! read more

This is a nice place to relax and have a delicious local brew. It's also conveniently located right off I-95 on Atlantic Ave without being in the overly busy downtown Delray area. We recently learned about the Ale Trail of the Palm Beaches and Saltwater Brewery is on the "trail". If you check-in on the app, you get a buy-one-get-one half off deal. Great beer at a great price! Noticing that we had a dazed look while we were trying to decipher the variety of beers on tap, the server asked us what type of beer we like to drink and gave us samples of similarly profiled beers. She made our selection simple and we thoroughly enjoyed our Saltwater brews. There were several large tables outdoors as well as high tops inside. We selected the comfy leather sectional and settled in with our beers. Because we were the only patrons in the place, we didn't have any social distancing concerns. The taco food truck was offering tempting Mexican fare but we didn't order anything during our visit. Definitely will do so next time. All in all, a truly enjoyable experience. read more

Saltwater is family friendly and they have a nice inside and outside seating area. Great selection of brews, and very nicely priced. We sat outside, where they had a band (Not sure if they have a band all the time). They played grate music. It was our first time taking our daughter out since she was born in August and we felt totally safe and we as as well as the brewery we're taking the proper precautions amongst Covid! Really cool, chill spot near downtown Delray Beach. Literally seconds from the highway and only minutes from all the action. They had some good beers here. Nothing amazing or special but I nice intro to someone that enjoys craft beers. Personally, I felt the options were a little limited. Being that I enjoy sour ales and Hefeweizen; they did not offer either. I had a raspberry blonde ale that was tasty and ordered two. I will come back and I enjoyed the vibe. I went to Saltwater with a friend to have a quick drink. Saltwater is located right near I-95. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Saltwater is a true brewery and brews their own beers. I ordered a flight of their beers consisting of the Saltwater Pineapple Habanero Screamin' Reels, the Saltwater Screamin' Reels IPA, the Saltwater Bo's Brew and the Saltwater Pumpkin Puffer Stout. They were all decent. My favorites were the Pineapple and the Pumpkin. I felt they all had a little too much of an aftertaste for my liking but that is most likely due to my taste in beer rather than any deficiency on the part of Saltwater. I checked in on Yelp but, unfortunately, they were out of the free souvenir check-in glass you're supposed to get. Overall, I would come back (and have been to Saltwater several times) but probably not on a regular basis. read more

Wife and I decided to visit this brewery (I love brewery's, however my wife, not so much lol), but this is a really cool place. We came on Saturday evening, which they had an event advertised on FB, there was a live band and a local food truck and everything was superb. It was a great date night, definitely will visit again. It is family friendly which was surprising, so if you have kids, they are welcomed. They have random games to play (corn hole, shuffle board, etc.) for entertainment. The craft beers were really good, we started off with a flight to taste different types of beers and once we found the type of beer we liked, it was on, lol. My wife enjoyed their Grapefruit beer and I loved the Great Wave beer. All and all, it was great night, we sang, we played, we dranked and had a wonderful time.
