Dada remains one of our favorite venues. Never had a bad meal there. We only sit outside (the inside is too loud). The menu doesn't change but we do not care. The DaDa dates are wonderful but the portion size (4 dates) is a bit bit small for sharing. A great option for a party of four is the Messe Board. Service always friendly and courteous. A big plus this that DaDa has its own valet parking. What do do with your car is always a problem in Delay Beach. read more

Knew I was going to be in Delray on a Saturday night so I booked a 7:30 reservation through the Yelp app and it worked out perfectly. This historic house was built in 1924 and it's a little quirky but it has so much character. The outside is beautiful, under the trees and lights, but this time of year it's a little too warm to sit outside so we sat inside. Each room has it's own vibe and no matter where you sit, you're going to have a good meal. Sixty South Grilled Salmon - served with dirty rice, broccolini and a chipotle aoli. It was good but not my favorite and a bit bland for my liking. Vegan Butternut Squash Ravioli- this is one of my favorites here. All pasta is made fresh daily and this one is stuffed with a garlic cashew cream that is mixed with spinach and mushroom, and topped with butternut squash. Different and so good. What a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning! We came here for brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday after a relaxing sound bath across the street at Old School Square--talk about supporting local businesses! Our table ordered a mix of dishes, including the veggie omelet made with three eggs, mushrooms, garlic, leeks, spinach, Gruyère, and crispy fried potatoes (one friend swapped the potatoes for tomatoes). I went with the avocado toast, topped with lemon, tomato, watermelon radish, piment d'Espelette, and sea salt. It was fresh, beautifully presented, and much larger than I expected--I happily took half of it home for later. To celebrate the birthday girl, we couldn't resist sharing the unadulterated double chocolate pecan brownie, topped with caramel and chocolate mousse. It was rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to brunch. We sang "Happy Birthday," shared lots of laughs, and enjoyed a wonderful morning together. Great food, a fun atmosphere, and the perfect ending to a relaxing morning in Delray. I always love finding ways to support local, and this was definitely a brunch worth repeating. We had reservations for days in advance. When we got there they told us they couldn't honor the indoor reservation. They claimed they gave our reserved table to a previous customer. We were given an option to wait outside in the rain for 30 minutes... We opted to give our business to a more organized business. Its a big disappointment. read more

I've always wanted to try Dada and I finally got the chance and I'm so glad I did! What a unique fun place to dine! On a Tuesday night there were plenty of tables inside and outside and I had a hard time deciding where I would even want to sit. We decided on inside and decor was so cool and set the vibes perfectly. The menu itself is also creative and everything we ate was absolutely superb. We had the grilled Bri, the crispy cauliflower, meatloaf, and ravioli. I would rate it all 10/10. The service was also super quick which was great because we had somewhere to be. Not only was the service quick with all the staff front the hosts to the servers were super kind. I would love to come back for drinks at the bar, definitely will need to save room for dessert next time, and ask about their other restaurants and locations and more about the Subculture group! Always fun and interesting as we choose from an eclectic menu. The mojitos are awesome. Try the pineapple one. Addys was our adoreable and personable waitress. Paul and I shared the baked Brie with crusty bread, grapes and apples on a charcuterie board. It was a wonderful treat. Then we each ordered their specials. I had the snapper filets with broccoli rabe and dirty rice and two great sauces on the side. Paul had the 16oz cowboy steak cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe. Both were very generous portions. We loved the dinner so much last night that we are coming back next Friday for a repeat performance. I was surprised that it wasn't exceptionally busy as it usually is but maybe because we are in the woes of August heat and many area people are away. We love coming here because it's so convenient prior to the Arts Garage theatre and the Delray Beach Playhouse where we have shows to see afterwards. First off, this place is CUTE. An old house converted into a restaurant that feels homey, eclectic, and inviting. The food was fantastic. I had the short rib (fantastic!) and the serving was enough for two meals. My husband had the burger that was also very good. Solid beer selection, and my cocktail, Viva La Vida, was light and refreshing. Service was attentive without being overbearing. We have been going to a lot of restaurants this summer. We started 2 weeks in Italy. We stayed at the Breakers in Palm Beach for a week etc... this meal at Dadas was by far the best meal we have had all summer. The truffle fries were amazing. I had the meat loaf and my wife ate the snapper. Both were amazing! Also amazing was Addys our waitress! She recommended everything from the awesome mojitos to the banana bread dessert! My 5lb Chihuahua was attacked here on the patio by a pit-bull. The pit-bull had a shock collar and a choke collar on signifying known aggression. The manager decided to walk the couple and dog right next to our table and the dog immediately went for my dog's throat. As we got up to rush to the emergency vet, the manager sat the couple with the pit-bull down for a meal! And then looked at us like how to give us the bill! Both the attack and the restaurant's response were horrifying. We called the police. Thankfully my pup survived but he has significant injuries and I'm beyond traumatized. Honestly the food was kinda meh, but the atmosphere was so unique and interesting that I was still glad I came despite the average food. My vegetarian friend and I ordered three appetizers - Crispy Cauliflower, which had a basic sweet chili sauce, Parmesan truffle shoestring fries, and the grilled Brie. Perhaps our food had been sitting under a heat lamp on this busy Wednesday night, but the Brie wasn't melty, the cauliflower was lukewarm, and the fries, though plentiful, were served with pedestrian ketchup. I asked for mayo or aioli and actually got 3 sauces including a home-made ranch that made the fries tasty. We sat outside on the patio under a heat lamp next to a large Banyan tree. The lighting was fun and festive and gave a nice glow. But the real magic is inside with almost every inch covered with surrealist art and interesting artifacts. So much to look at - oh, and they will accept art in exchange for food. How cool is that? read more

Food: 5 Service: 5 Ambiance: 5 Love Dada. It's been too long since we've visited. This is the first brunch at Dada we've experienced and it was wonderful. We met friends. Our reservation was for 11/45, we were seated immediately inside. We were in the back room and at first the room was very cold but it got better within a few minutes. The decor is beautiful, no matter which room you are in you will be surrounded by art , it enhances the experience. Our servers Jack and Nicole were exemplary. We never had to look for them or wait for anything. Jack did a great job explaining the specials and both were there to refill our drinks and check on us. Food was amazing. I ordered the grilled Brie and the Dada dates. I usually do not like things wrapped in bacon but these were pregame crispy and sweet. The Brie was served with toast, apples and grapes and it was delish. Other plates were egg and bacon sandwich, ham and cheddar omelette, eggs Benedict, and pork belly Benedict. Everyone at the table had glowing reviews on their choices. Dads had a history of an art movement, it is in a historical house , quaint and charming . Today was a chilly day but the outside had heaters. The bar is unique and inviting. There is a fireplace to add to the charm. Additional free parking across the street. I read several reviews that claimed Dada was the best restaurant in Palm Beach County, so we had to give it a try. We started off with the Salvador Dali and my wife got the Passion Fruit Mojito. Both drinks were exceptional, and we loved the presentation. We opted to try several small plates and share an entree. We started with the wedge salad. It was very good with the crisp onion and fresh dressing, although not the best salad we've had (8.6/10). The bacon wrapped dates came second, which were our favorite dish. Sweet, savory, delectable. (9.3/10) Next, we got the crispy cauliflower. It was amazing how crispy this was! It tasted great too, tossed in a spicy gochujang sauce. (8.9/10) We shared the short rib entree, and were so glad that we did. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, paired with a sweet tomato jam, mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans. If we were being very picky, the green beans seemed slightly undercooked. (9.2/10) The service was what stole the show for us. We felt that the wait staff was so attentive and treated us like royalty. We had fresh table settings for each dish, our waitress helped fix the table when it was leaning, and plates were cleared seconds after taking the first bite. Thank you! I would recommend booking for a nice evening and trying to sit outside. It was such a romantic spot as the sun began to set during dinner. PS - The experience at this place was awesome. Kind of gave us Black Rabbit vibes from the inside in a good way. To set the record straight, I don't believe this is the best restaurant in Palm Beach County, but it's up there! What can I say about DaDa? I was looking for a casual spot to have dinner on a week night and tried them out. The outside seating of the restaurant was completely booked. The outside has a nice patio feel to it. After our waitress seated us inside, she excitedly told us the table is a cork board! How cool is that?!? I won a few games of tic tak toe..lol The food was delicious! I had the freebird chicken with roaitto. Chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. Highly recommend the Mezza board for grazing. Updating my review after the managers quick response and clarification about key west shrimp... I really wanted to leave a 5 star review here but felt I can only leave a 4. If I was to rate Dada on service and ambience alone it would be 5 stars all the way. We enjoyed eating outside with beautiful weather at Dada. 75 degree weather during Thanksgiving week is not weather I am used to in Atlanta. We sat at a large table in the corner outside with a beautiful view of other tables and the courtyard. Heather was an excellent waitress! It was clear she was busy with other tables but she took whatever time we needed to answer questions, explain the menu options, and offer recommendations. She checked in on us regularly. Someone else in our party was picking up the tab so there were no appetizers and waters all around. That is usually a sure sign of bad service to follow but not the case here. Service was excellent! When the kitchen staff brought out the food, they took time to speak with us and talk about the food instead of just rushing back to the kitchen to bring out another meal. It was clear that the restaurant treats their employees well in turn leading to great customer service. Someone got a burger they enjoyed. I heard the chicken sandwich was good. My wife got the meatloaf and enjoyed it albeit a little pricey for meatloaf. I ordered what I hoped to be the star of the show - the shrimp scampi tagliatelle. They even brought a spoon out for my pasta without me even needing to ask. The noodles were definitely homemade and wonderful, fresh, with a nice texture and taste. When I think about shrimp scampi, I think garlic, butter, white wine. I tasted the tomato and the pangrattato but very little of what I expected. Key west pink shrimp sounded fresh and yummy but the texture and taste were not what I was expecting either. I later learned that key west shrimp are different than normal shrimp and the texture is intended to melt in your mouth. It was not a bad dish - just not what I expected for shrimp scampi. We decided to try the banana bread dessert with Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top and added ice cream. It was a yummy dessert to top off the evening I would recommend that. I'll definitely Dada again in the future because everything else was excellent except for my dish. read more

Back again. This time for an early dinner. Sitting outside under large umbrellas was pleasant and comfortable. The waiter knew the menu well and was very helpful. They still offer the $10 starving artist. It's now grilled cheese with onion soup for dipping - a play on French onion soup. The romaine wedge with green goddess dressing is one of the best appetizers on the menu. It comes with two sections, but the chef agreed to give us 3 - we were a party of 3 and sharing. What's better than dinner at Dada? A pre fixe dinner with appetizer and dessert included! We went to Dada for the Taste of South Florida Sept pre fixe dinner. Not surprisingly the place was busy on a Sat night with lots of diners having the same mindset. Having made a reservation, we had virtually no wait. My wife and I each ordered the pre fixe meal. We shared the appetizers: Dada dates with bacon and a tangy sauce; and the crispy cauliflower with a sweet chili sauce. While the chili sauce had the perfect level of spiciness, we were a little disappointed that the cauliflower wasn't as crispy as we had expected. Still delicious though. The date appetizer was excellent with an amazing mix of flavors. The only puzzlement was that the menu stated it came with goat cheese, but the cubed items on top seemed to be potatoes rather than cheese. It was terrific regardless of the topping. We each had the short rib entree, which came with mashed potatoes, green beans and a tomato compote. The beef was so tender and the portion size was larger than I expected. The green beans tasted a bit salty albeit flavorful. We truly enjoyed the dish. For dessert we shared the warm banana bread with caramel sauce. The menu stated the dessert included whipped mascarpone, but that didn't appear on the plate. The cinnamon crunch topping came in the form of cinnamon toast crunch cereal. It would have been better if the cereal had been crumbled into a topping rather than left whole as an afterthought on top of the bread. Overall, the banana bread dessert was a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the "unadulterated double chocolate pecan brownie" with chocolate mousse and caramel sauce was an unadulterated hit. The brownie was warm, soft and chewy. And my wife, a confessed chocoholic, was in nirvana with the chocolate mousse. So, so good! After consuming all that food (yes, I know a doggie bag was an option but we couldn't stop eating everything!), we realized that the better approach would have been to order one pre fixe dinner, share the appetizer and dessert, and order a separate entree. On the positive side, we were able to try more apps and desserts. Dada is a great restaurant with terrific service and delicious food. We'll be back even without the pre fixe deal. Wow! The ambiance of Dada is quaint & casual. However, the service makes you feel like you're at an upscale restaurant. They have an extensive delicious list of mojitos. The burger was phenomenal and they allow you to choose the temperature you want it cooked to. The same for the salmon. Which was also delicious. The ambience both inside and outside is delightful, whimsical, and pleasant; however a little dark so you may have to use your phone flashlight a bit. The menu is off the charts with extensive drink menu; wines, mojitos, and basics...and then awesome selections of finger foods/starters, a wide variety of enrees, and a prix fix menu to include dessert. Arrived forty-five minutes early for a group brunch at this historic Delray Beach house, which has been renovated to a restaurant serving artsy American eats. Took refuge at the bar with my wife. Met with the sole bartender, Sergio, who was animated and made a perfectly executed Bloody Mary for the wife, then cracked open an ice cold can of Funky Buddha beer to quench my undeniable thirst. Sergio also provided some feedback on a few of Dada's special brunch options which we took advantage of a little later. The bathroom was clean and was obviously a renovated house bathroom with an existing soap holder on the wall next to the urinal. Omg, I am salivating just writing this review. Thus place us absolutely delightful. The outside is quirky, yet warm and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was flavorful and light. Seeing as how its been 14 years since I was last at DADA and last reviewed it, I finally got the chance to return. To my joy it has changed. It's still the delightful same. It was noon on a Sunday and DADA had a good crowd. Though they have delightful porch and outside dining, it was too hot, so I sat inside. The seats are good and the general ambiance couldn't have been better. I had their bone in coffee rubbed grilled ribeye which arrived rare just as I had ordered. I've been hearing about Dada in Delray for some time and finally made my way over to experience it. From the outside, it looked casual with inviting outdoor seating, but decided to sit inside. As we were escorted to the back, we passed through several uniquely decorated rooms, each with its own vibe. The room we were seated in had a colorful, fun, and artistic energy.
