This was our second visit on a Sunday at 11:30 AM and a party of six. Let me just say that the brisket is absolutely. AMAZING.!! do not miss it. This is a sports bar. TVs can be seen from all angles. If you're there to watch a game you won't have to ask for a special seat. My son ordered the large portion of brisket. My husband ordered the small order of brisket. Son's mother-in-law ordered the grouper sandwich with the slaw on the side grandson ordered the grouper sandwich. I ordered the Texas bowl and my daughter-in-law ordered the avocado wrap with a side of Mac & cheese. We were seated immediately, and the restaurant was almost empty. It did take us quite some time to place our order as the menu is quite extensive .... once we were able to place our order, the restaurant had filled up. It took over an hour to get our food. When it came everything was perfect except the avocado wrap. It had NO avocado in it! The waitress was quick to check if everything was as it should be, the took it, quickly returned, but the side of Mac & cheese was cold. (It was good - but cold) Our waitress "Brie like the cheese" as she introduced herself was a wonderful little waitress, very helpful, friendly, and attentive. The manager came by and we explained what had happened and that Brie had taken care of it quickly and very nicely. We told him we understood that they were slammed with the crowd, but if it's going to be an hour wait it would be nice if there was some sort of an appetizer like nachos and chips or peanuts or even pretzels waiting for over an hour after ordering is a long time. (hence the four stars for the long wait time.) BE AWARE THAT THE PRICES ON THE MENU ARE NOT WHAT YOU GET CHARGED IF YOU USE A CREDIT CARD. THEY DO NOT ADD THE CHARGE AT THE BOTTOM THEY ADJUST EACH AND EVERY ITEM ON THE BILL! But to be fair, this is stated on the back of the menu in small print.

Amazing tasting shrimp! Tried the peel & eat shrimp and it was so good. Next went with the tiki shrimp and it was phenomenal. So delicious with the sweetie peppers. The bartender had a lot of people at the bar but was always checking in with me and did a wonderful job! Love the atmosphere here! Definitely will be visiting again!

Service was excellent! My brisket stew was too salty for me. Nice view of the river.

Just got a salad with brisket and the lettuce was all yellow and brown. Brisket was nothing but a hunk of fat. Very disappointing.

Got a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was raw. Had to send bacon back to be cooked more.

Excellent service. I had the brisket sandwich. Perfectly cooked, not too fat, great flavor. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

Everything here is PACKED with flavor. We tried a little bit of everything -- empanadas, fried yucca, chicken, soup -- and there wasn't a single miss. Every dish came out tasting fresh, well-seasoned, and like it was made with care. You can tell this isn't just your typical beach spot... this is legit. And the service? Just as impressive. Every table inside was completely full, so we sat outside on a beautiful day -- and even with how busy they were, the service was FAST. Our hostess was fantastic the entire time, super attentive and on top of everything. You'd never guess how packed they were based on how smoothly everything ran. The fried yucca was perfectly crispy, the empanadas were loaded and flavorful, and the chicken and soup tied everything together. Honestly, one of those meals where you keep saying "yo this is GOOD" after every bite. We made it a priority to come back this trip, and now it's officially a tradition whenever we're in Sunset Beach. If you're anywhere nearby and want something different from the usual seafood spots, don't sleep on this place.

We left a diff restaurant with an hr+ wait bc this place supposedly only had a 20-30 min wait. We arrived, checked in and were told when one specific table leaves that we could have their table. There were other open tables but told they didn't have the staff to serve them. So we waited 30 min. and that table did leave on time. However, during that time at least 2 or 3 other parties came to the restaurant and were sat in those empty tables. We were told they had prior reservations AND that apparently they had someone already coming to fill the table we were originally promised. We could wait another 30-45 min for someone else to leave OR sit our 6 adults and 1 child separately at two high back booths with no contact. If it had been my decision I would have walked out immediately. No customer service by host or manager who came to hear it out. The rest of my party was too hungry to wait or go somewhere else so they sat separate and ate. I refused to give them my business and never will. VERY POORLY MANAGED and it obviously starts at the front of the house. My wife had the apricot salmon ($28) its was extremely bland. My 5 yr old son had shrimp and fries ($14!!) which were extremely mediocre at best. I've had better at Culver's. Restaurant looks poorly organized. Needs a renovation, and OBVIOUSLY some new staff who know how to provide customer service in a service industry. Ambiance was like a dive bar trying to serve food to survive. They won't be around long.
