We left a diff restaurant with an hr+ wait bc this place supposedly only had a 20-30 min wait. We arrived, checked in and were told when one specific table leaves that we could have their table. There were other open tables but told they didn't have the staff to serve them. So we waited 30 min. and that table did leave on time. However, during that time at least 2 or 3 other parties came to the restaurant and were sat in those empty tables. We were told they had prior reservations AND that apparently they had someone already coming to fill the table we were originally promised. We could wait another 30-45 min for someone else to leave OR sit our 6 adults and 1 child separately at two high back booths with no contact. If it had been my decision I would have walked out immediately. No customer service by host or manager who came to hear it out. The rest of my party was too hungry to wait or go somewhere else so they sat separate and ate. I refused to give them my business and never will. VERY POORLY MANAGED and it obviously starts at the front of the house. My wife had the apricot salmon ($28) its was extremely bland. My 5 yr old son had shrimp and fries ($14!!) which were extremely mediocre at best. I've had better at Culver's. Restaurant looks poorly organized. Needs a renovation, and OBVIOUSLY some new staff who know how to provide customer service in a service industry. Ambiance was like a dive bar trying to serve food to survive. They won't be around long.

Everything here is PACKED with flavor. We tried a little bit of everything -- empanadas, fried yucca, chicken, soup -- and there wasn't a single miss. Every dish came out tasting fresh, well-seasoned, and like it was made with care. You can tell this isn't just your typical beach spot... this is legit. And the service? Just as impressive. Every table inside was completely full, so we sat outside on a beautiful day -- and even with how busy they were, the service was FAST. Our hostess was fantastic the entire time, super attentive and on top of everything. You'd never guess how packed they were based on how smoothly everything ran. The fried yucca was perfectly crispy, the empanadas were loaded and flavorful, and the chicken and soup tied everything together. Honestly, one of those meals where you keep saying "yo this is GOOD" after every bite. We made it a priority to come back this trip, and now it's officially a tradition whenever we're in Sunset Beach. If you're anywhere nearby and want something different from the usual seafood spots, don't sleep on this place.

I had the Shrimp Tacos that were flavorful. The service however was not very good. We sat down and were eventually told it was tiki bar style where we had to go to the tiki bar to get food. Once we were told this, we also asked for an umbrella to shade the sun at our table. When we did we were told that umbrellas weren't supposed to be open because of the wind. At the same exact time we were told this, all the tables umbrellas were up and there were two umbrellas unused behind the bar. It seems that the staff just didn't want to help us.

It was a rainy day so we chose an indoor table. The menu offers about a dozen appetizers, a dozen handhelds, ten salads and ten entrees. I opted for the fried fish sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries come with a delicious apple butter for dipping. My fellow diners had the big mac salad, the chicken wings, the blackened fish sandwich with hush puppies, and a mermaid water drink. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was fairly quick. The music was good.

The food menu is somewhat limited, however, we enjoyed our house made delicious Chia Cup ($9) and ham and egg sandwich ($8). Mr. And I both ordered the market bowl. Quinoa, sweet potatoes, avocado, tomato, and a spring mix w a fried egg on top. It was beautiful! Then we bit into it. The sweet potato was barely on the brink of being frozen. The Quinoa was also cold...not just room temperature, but ice-cold! Avocado was way too cold as well. So, you can imagine what this did to the beautifully cooked egg... yep - turned it cold in a heartbeat. Really off-putting to bit into. Mr. went back inside and asked if they had a microwave to heat it up and the 'workers' just said that was they way it was supposed to be. Mr. tossed the entire thing in the trash and simply said "well, it's disgusting". You would think there would be a simple offer to heat it up, or some kind of remedy for the situation. They didn't give a crap. I'm pretty sure they flipped us the bird on the way out. Nice.
