Our tour guides were Chad and Joey who made for a great ride out into the ocean. Good information was shared along the way and when dolphins were located on the tour Chad was excellent at pointing them out along the way. A bald eagle nest was also seen complete with a bald eagle perched overlooking the ocean. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and the tour was just the right amount of time to be out on the water to enjoy the boat ride. We don't drink so purchased the tickets without the alcohol included but then were welcome to bring on our own drinks and snacks for the ride. The playlist of music out on the sunset tour was top notch and apparently dolphins have a good affection for Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" as when that song came on the dolphins came out in force. We decided to leave in the morning and stay out until early afternoon. The yacht showed up in the designated dock right on time in Turtle Beach. The ship Captain, Carlos, was very helpful in creating a great trip even though we were travelling during a Red Tide event in Siesta Keys area. Captain Carlos took us out to a sandbar which was not as effected by the Red Tide and we spent some time in the ocean before getting back on the boat. We had told Carlos that we were really hoping to encounter some dolphins on our trip and he was very knowledgeable about where the Dolphins like to hang out. We found a couple of dolphins hanging out in a small cove he recommended and it was an incredible experience as the dolphins followed the yacht for around 15 minutes and jumped and played in the boats wake.
