At the beginning of the year, I saw Dr. Sam and was given medication that helped in the moment but no real answers as to what is causing the problems. He brushed off the need for a camera examination as the medication had "fixed" the issue. I decided to see a different ENT. Had a appt first thing in the morning after the office opened. I didn't get seen until almost 950am. Once I got called in the Dr was the worse. He was super aggressive and basically didn't want t to hear any of my concerns out. And on top of that they had the secretary stand in on the appointment. Not sure why that was necessary. I have been asking for a referral from my PCP for an ENT to REMOVE my tonsils. Is it a procedure this Dr even does anymore? Because he was trembling while reviewing my chart and giving my assessment? First he was reading the wrong patients chart information. Second, he dismissed MY concerns just to say he wouldn't recommend invasive procedures at my age? If I'm requesting the removal I've already done my research on the risks of this surgery and recovery. I've mentioned before of on-off strep because of my exposure to sick patients working in an ER. Recommended a mouthwash (that I already use) and manual maintenance (which I already do). So after repeating myself a second time of the requested removal, he said to come back if I ever get Strep again and he will reassess. For what? Taking another copayment each time and telling me to take care of it myself? Waste of time and money to be completely honest. He wasn't rude, however at his age and after witnessing the physical capabilities that I noticed at my visit; this man needs to retire. I want to know when the last time was that he's ever done this procedure because he flat out told me to ask my PCP to refer me elsewhere. Beyond that, Dr. Arasoghli dismissed my complaints about an ongoing blocked ear, and insisted nothing was wrong. Now I have permanent hearing loss in that ear, so thanks! Please, Please, Please avoid this Dr at all costs! He is very unprofessional and didn't tell us anything that we didn't already know. We asked for a Physical Therapy referral 3 times during our visit for vertigo and was told no. He then told my husband that since he is feeling better (he wasn't and never said that), a low salt diet is all he needs. When I spoke up and said that is he is not feeling better, this horrible Dr told me to let him speak for himself. My husband and I were aghast at his behavior and frankly embarrassed that he is in the medical field. He then dismissed my husband's symptoms and told him to get a second opinion from another group that he recommended. You're kidding, right? This is not just an unqualified doctor, but also a scammer. They do appointments only extremely early in the morning and take weeks to get to see the doctor. I came in for a long-term nasal congestion issue. This doctor pretended to look inside my nose and diagnosed it and said NOTHING was found. I was not even prescribed a single thing and ended up with an OTC nasal spray that did nothing. Fast forward 1.5 years, this problem was never resolved. So I went to another ENT (Habbestad) and turned out I was diagnosed with a nasal obstruction. Habbestad took just less than 5 minutes to find it and referred me to a surgeon for the obstruction removal. There are a very limited number of ENTs, and I got no clue how this office is still practicing while they do literally no work and take money for granted. Don't give these swindlers any profit or they will continue with their fraudulent practices and take more victims. read more

Fluid in ears from past cold History of this. First got a hearing test- found out they are a separate business selling hearing aides at this clinic , to you if your test is low. Said I needed hearing aides. What a fraud scam going on.. I don't need aides I need the pressure released . Since my visit my ears have resolved on their own. This Dr had ordered a sinus X-ray. A camera scope up my nose. Had to get authorization from my ins. But I'm not going back there, tests are unnecessary , I had a sinus infection that went into my ears and throat after antibiotics were prescribed, I infection gone but still had the hearing loss . Totally agree with all the negative reviews. The doctor is rude and dismissive and the staff is terrible. I got a pressure test in my ears which caused extreme pain and this loud throbbing. Right after they gave me a hearing test, but I could barely hear anything because my ears hurt and all I could hear was this loud pounding in my ears. Then he tried to tell me I was losing my hearing and would probably need a hearing aid. Wants me to see a neurologist, even though my symptoms are ear pain and liquid in my ears. ***** Cancel your appointment now at all costs!! ***** Here is why: He only wants the appointments to be able to bill and not do the work. I went there for a second opinion today only because the ENT center I went to in Rancho Cucamonga did not have pain management options for the procedures they stated that I needed. They showed me the CT scan and my right side nasal cavity pathways are 1/3 the size as my left. They wanted to do the procedure in office by taking a pain pill 1 hour in advance. My body does not metabolise pain medications properly especially pills. I explained what was going on and he said he had a report from my primary doctor for an xray that I had in July that showed nothing wrong. I stated that I had just been to the ENT center and they did a CT scan that showed a few things wrong. Rather then order a CT and have me back, he tried to tell me another doctor who did my deviated septum 12 years ago, took my medical group (he did not) and dismissed me within 5 minutes of getting there. Great, he gets to bill my insurance company and take my copay (I will be disputing), but he won't help me. I had actually seen all of the bad reviews when I went to lookup directions this morning, but it was too late to cancel and I figured that most were about bedside manner that I quickly skimmed through. I don't care about bedside manner personally it's all business to me, I care about getting help. The truth of the matter is they don't have a CT machine in house like the ENT center in Rancho and he didn't want to go through the trouble. My appointment was easy for him and done in 5 minutes as he ushered me out. I just went with my mom to our appointment and it was one of the worst Dr appts I've ever been to. First the Dr was very condescending. At one point he even remarked "oh so you speak English now" in regards to my mom. First, I was there with my mom as moral support. My mom is battling metastatic cancer, so I have been to every appt with her and I feel it is best that I'm there to help advocate for her. Second, my mom's vocal is partially paralyzed so it's hard to speak. To assume she does not know English was completely rude and uncalled for. After the dr's assessment he essentially said there was nothing he could do for her and that if eating and drinking continues to be difficult then she could have a feeding tube put in! Essentially he said live with it. I would also like to put in her previous ENT offered other treatments and suggestions and did not tell her to just live with it. I had a really great experience with this doctor's office! The bedside manner at the beginner seemed a bit rough - however, he was very honest, efficient and wanted the best for me. I had this mass on my face that I needed to be removed. He did an AMAZING job! It almost looks like nothing was there. He does great work and very thorough, which is very important to me. this guy has zero bedside manner. When I was referred to him my Dr, Harper (Why can't he do his own surgery?) I was told I had minor Basel cell cancer on my nose. When I went to see this guy, I asked jokingly if he was planning on removing my nose. He didn't smile but looked at it and explained that he was going to use a skin graft to close the wound. On the day of the procedure, he walked into and didn't look at me, instead asking how my anesthesia was going to be administered, if I wanted a twilight type sleep or be put under completely. I told him as long as I didn't wake up, I didn't care. They wheeled my gurney into the operating room and put me to sleep. A bit later I opened my eyes and sw the masked doctor, how bought his surgical certificate rather than going to school to get board certified, working on my nose. "Almost done, Doc?" I asked He asked the stupid question ,"Are you awake?" No extra sleep juice was ordered. I did my best not to move until he was finished. I dressed later and my wife drove me home I never received a call from his office asking me how I was doing A month later my nose was still bleeding, creating a large grotesque scab on the side of my nose. I hard to use the back door at Dr. Harper's office to have the wound examined so I didn't alarm the waiting patients He dissolved the scab with a saline solution so he could examine my wound That skin graft wasn't done as promised. That doctor never contacted me to see about my condition. I never got an apology. I lost a month of my life hiding my appearance. I never was able to apply any cream on it because of this scab. Absolutely awful. I never got in to see Dr. Arasoghli, but I did see his RN (or the next in line for him). I have a history of BPPV (vertigo). I just needed a professional to help me with the Epley maneuver or help diagnose if the vertigo was in a different ear canal. The guy simply said I don't think it's BPPV and I don't want to do anything to your head to try to make it better. Again, I've had a 10+ year history of this. He didn't do a single eye test, didn't test anything or try a single maneuver. I wasted my time going to a ENT for vertigo. I had to go to my physical therapist, who has a specialty in vestibular issues. Unfortunately, they don't take insurance so I had to pay about $300 out of pocket. She spent over an hour with me, did multiple tests and worked through everything. Exactly what should have happened in a doctors office. I also brought up all of the horrible reviews I've read about Dr. A. He pretty much agreed that Dr. A has horrible bedside manor and is awful with people. If I could give Dr. Arasoghli 0 stars, I would. When first arriving, I was filling out my paper work and gentleman got up and immediately canceled his appointment after reading the reviews. After he had left, the ladies at the front desk started looking up the reviews and one even said "Why am I on there?! what did I do?" This should have been my first warning. After taking the hearing test, I was sitting in the room for about 25 minutes when a different gentleman walked out of his room and went to the front desk asking where the Dr. was, because he had been waiting for over 35 minutes. The girl told him that the Dr. isn't even in the office yet and he will be here shortly. He ended up walking out and leaving before the Dr. even showed up. Another 15 minutes goes by and he comes in to take me from one room to another to look in my ears (I have had four double ear infections in the span of 6 months). He looks at them for maybe 5 seconds each and says "Your ears are completely normal." I explained how they have been hurting and are still currently hurting and he started being dismissive about my pain and reiterated that my ears looked normal. When asking him what he thinks could be causing this ear pain, he said "Some people just get ear aches." SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! Find another Dr. who is actually willing to help their patients. The most incompetant doctor I've ever experienced; and yet he is supposedly a seasoned medical doctor! He was very dismissive during 2 appointments and, frankly, is negligent! On my follow-up appointment, he gave me the results of my sinus x-ray and then started to leave the room. I stopped him and asked if he could at least check my ears and throat; I had initially told him of symptoms. He checked my ears and stated that there was no sign of infection. I stated that I had gone to urgent care 5 days ago and was on my final day of antibiotics, with symptoms ensuing. He repeated his findings of nothing. I repeated that I could still feel pressure in one ear. He blandly repeated himself. Plus, he couldn't and wouldn't answer questions. He tried to leave again, and I asked if he could please check my throat since I'd told him of my cough. He said he saw nothing. I said that I had lots of sinus drainage, but he contended that there was nothing! The story isn't over! I knew that he was wrong, so I went to urgent care, and a young PA, not even an MD, said that my ears were bulging with infection! Sam couldn't even see this! Urgent care prescribed a 2nd round of antibiotics and they prescribed cough syrup. Sam had refused to prescribe even cough syrup! So lame! So negligent! Don't waste your time. Dr. was extremely rude and dismissive, and his office staff are just as bad... 1. Dr. called my wife by the wrong name. She kindly corrected him. He ignored her and kept calling her the wrong name. He then said, "Well, whatever you want to call yourself." 2. My wife has been dealing with extreme pain and issues for 8 weeks, many urgent care and ER visits, and no one has figured out the cause yet. When he came in, we tried to explain what was going on and what she was experiencing, and he cut us off and said: "I'm the doctor, I don't care what anyone else has said, I'll decide what the issue is." He then ignored us and would talk at us the rest of the visit, so we just kept our mouths shut. 3. We tried to tell him she was very tender and in pain, and he ignored us. When he stuck a scope in my wife's ear, she winced. He said, "I'm just looking, relax." She tried to explain that it hurt, but he just ignored her and repeated,"I'm just looking." 4. He told us he needed a copy of her CT scan from the ER. No problem, we told him we would bring it by later today. He told us that the front desk would help us order a copy of the CT and set an appointment. However, the front desk said that we were on our own, and they refused to set a follow-up appointment until after they get a copy of the CT. 5. I told the front desk I'd be dropping off a copy of the CT today. After arguing a bit, they finally agreed to set her a follow-up appointment. Fine, sure - so we left and went to the hospital to get a copy of the CT tests. 6. We then came back, and the staff refused to take the records. They first said, "The hospital will send them over." Then, after I asked a different staff member, I was told the Dr. no longer needed the scan but would review the day of her follow-up. These are the exact same people I spoke to 2 hours previously when we worked out us bringing the CT results today. At the end of everything, they REFUSED to accept the CT report/results. We are NOT going back, and we will make sure that every person we know is aware of how awful Dr. Sam Arasoghli and Chapparral Medical Group is. This doctor is just going through the motions, he doesn't really listen to his patients. After looking in my throat, nose and ears he felt the outside of my throat where I had sensitivity. He turned to write orders for 2 exams while I tried to tell him how I noticed my condition had changed. I stopped speaking to the back of his head mid sentence. He never looked at me to see why I had stopped talking. He gave me the paper he wrote and told me I needed 2 exams before he could give his opinion then asked "Do you have any questions?!" I left this doctor after having my ear canal cleaned and my ears were ringing and hurting when I left. All Dr. Arasoghli said was it couldn't be from him. The pain and ringing didn't exist when I walked in there. Fortunately, It cleared up several hours later. The worst part about this doctors office is that they charged me a co-pay when they shouldn't have. I called them and talked to them and they agreed they owe me my co-pay back. I don't believe I should've had to make this call. After not receiving the check for five weeks I called again and they said they had no record of my call. He comes in, doesn't apologize for his tardiness or even introduce himself and basically in a condescending tone tells me to tell him my problem. I explain it to him and he goes "who did you see before?" I tell him I don't remember, just an ENT specialist and he goes "no, obviously he's a specialist tell me his name"... seriously? Who are you to talk to me in a condescending way when I can't seem to recall his name? Then he sprays a numbing spray down my nose and gets it all over my face, hands me a tissue and goes "wipe it"... Then he explains to me that I don't have vocal nodules. So I ask him why I have a recurring voice problem and he goes "I don't know, usually patients just fix it on their own. You can go to your physician and ask them to send you somewhere else".. really? Then after he tells me "you're done", doesn't say a word or a goodbye or thank you, so I just walk out.. If I could give this a Zero star rating I would, bc I have never felt so belittled and not helped from a doctor in my LIFE. Arisoghli, if you're seeing this, don't call yourself a doctor. You're a rude, condescending, unhelpful person that just has the label as a specialist. Patients who pay good money to desperately get helped don't deserve a jerk like you, that tells them to "fix it themselves". STAY AWAY from this place. I had a case of SEVERE nasal polyps that was affecting my quality of life. I won't go into the problems that this condition causes, but it was very bad. Dr. Arasoghli performed the surgery to remove them. This was back in ~1998? I'm not sure of the date, but it was around that time. A year before I saw Dr. Arasoghli, I had Kaiser as my insurance. I went to the ENT at Kaiser and he pulled around in my nose with suction, caused me pain, and told me that my condition was so severe, he wouldn't do the surgery. When I asked why, he said that surgery wouldn't help and even if he could remove all the polyps, they would grow back within a year. Thank God. I can't imagine what that surgeon would have done. He was a brut. I didn't give up though. After I got new insurance, I went to Dr. Arasoghli. He examined me in a totally different pain-free way and ordered CT scans to get a full view of how bad my condition was. After the results came back, he told me he could do the surgery and that it would improve the quality of my life drastically. After the surgery, he was super attentive to me in the hospital, made sure I had proper medications and that the nurses were following his orders. About the quality of my life, that was a true statement. My health improved drastically. Whatever surgical procedure he did, the polyps have not grown back and to this day I can still breathe freely, I no longer have night hallucinations, sleep all through the night, no longer get horrible bronchial infections, bronchitis, sinus infections, etc. etc. Still, 22 years later. In fact, I haven't had a sinus infection since. Dr. Arasoghli was kind, caring and attentive the whole way through. So from my experience, besides being an excellent surgeon, I can say this doctor cares about your health and wellbeing. read more

I arrived with my mother four minutes after our appointment time (she came from a nursing home in a transport van who was running late) mother is 86 in a wheelchair with dementia and blind. Brought my dad in for ear pain and discomfort. Ran some tests. But after all of them. He basically said I can't do anything come back if it continues although it's been happing for a long time. At the end of the visit he said follow me. And walked us out to the lobby. He literally kicked us out. No senses of conclusion or plan of care even though symptoms are still ongoing. I wish i would have read the negative reviews before my appointment. Dr. A was very rude and aloof. He must have gotten annoyed with my explanation of what my problem was because he got up and walked out in the middle of our conversation. I called for him to come back in. Then he walked out again. Sense I said I was having a hard time hearing him, (I have difficulty hearing, ) he called his nurse in and wouldn't speak to me from then on. He talked to the nurse and had her tell me what he said. The dr is incredibly rude and uninterested in solving a problem. I've had chronic ear pressure for 4 mos. like I'm on an airplane. It's obviously not my normal. My hearing is fine as his tests indicated. He said there's no clinical issue. I kindly asked questions trying to understand more of what could cause my intrusive issue. Instead of answering questions he just kept telling me to get a second opinion. Google provides way more answers than this guy. I don't recommend this place at all. First it is so hard to get an appointment. I called so many times and was put on hold many times for so long. To be hung up on. When I finally got through to someone I finally got an appointment for January. This was October mind you. I finally get to my appointment. The office has one other patient there. Geeze for this your books are full. The staff is standing and sitting around looking totally board. I sat in the lobby for 45 min which I don't understand why. One other person was a head of me an there was no other people that were there. When I was taken back the rooms were empty. What has taken so long? The Dr that did the hearing test was very professional. Very nice. Had my hearing tested. Was put in a room again to wait for the Dr he was very rough had to repeat myself a few times. Has a very impersonal "line of production like" practice to see patients, whatever deviates from that, is met with a very aggressive and confrontational demeanor, he was extremely rude to the point of forcing my head in the desired position he wanted it while yelling at me like I was his son during the exam, he is lucky I do not like issues, someone else would have dropped him right then and there for the way he acted. He does not allow the patient the right to have a conversation and provide all the symptoms. He only cares about taking your money, he would run the insurance himself and tell the assistant how much to charge the patients for co-pays. God forbid if you have a question. He also seems to dislike overweight people and mocked my insurance coverage. Overall, a disaster, stay away. Horrible experience. I hate Inland Empire's specialists.
