It was a large tree with a very wide trunk, which was hollow at a part of it. The owner came out to look at it and talk to me about the removal. The crew showed up on time and knew what they were doing! Because there is not much space between homes, they had to use a crane to pick up the pieces of the tree and the crane to take these parts safely over our home. The equipment to grind the stump also had to be taken over the home. Safety was excellent, communication was excellent, value was good, and everyone was professional. I will use this company again. I highly recommend them!

One of their arborists came out and reviewed the tree and recommended removal and was beyond saving. I was sad to see it have to go, but it was going to be danger soon as the disease progressed. They even gave me recommendations on replacement trees that would be more hardy in the future. They made it out the same day to quote and cut it down. It took them about an hour to take down a 30 foot tall maple tree. They also ground down the stump. The area was cleaned up and the mulch spread out. This year we have added their landscape service to our yard and unfortunately the results have not been great. We are now using a third. maybe 4th service agent as the turnover at Peservation Landscape Service. When we ask any question they immediately call their manager which is a bit concerning. So I called and spoke with Chris from Acorn. He got back to me right away. He was able to me be a day later and that was only because of my schedule not his. He came out and I told him what I wanted to have done to the tree. It was nothing fancy. It was get it off the citys electrical pole, the neighbors fence (which broke some) and they could just leave the rest for now lying on the ground. We talked about price and a day. His guys actually showed up earlier than the time stated and already had started working on things. Called Acorn and told her I would be writing a check and Brittany said she would be coming by to get it. But instead Chris came by to make sure the guys were doing what they should be. And he actually had them do a little bit more than originally planned! They did a great job for such a hot mess of a downed tree! So I would ABSOLUTELY 100% recommend hiring Acorn Tree Service.
