I tried to make a monthly appointment but unfortunately we were dropped from the schedule two years ago due to one dog being sick (he has since passed) and having to cancel the next appointment until we were sure he was ok and not contagious. SPG is literally the only place you need to consider if you have a cat that needs grooming. My longhaired fur kid was getting matted fur, out of nowhere, and so I went on the hunt for a groomer. I ended up picking SPG based off of the reviews alone. Other groomers in Atlanta focus on (therefore have more experience & practice with dogs) - so while other places may be a great 'groomer', Sam is a great Cat groomer. His van is super clean and has a professional setup that was quite impressive. He himself was efficient and professional. And he explained a lot on both ends of the appointment to help know which options I could choose from and how to maintain his work. Grooming should not just be for looks, but for health too. My cat looks and feels like a million bucks now AND she seems much happier. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! My close friend got a lion haircut on her grey Persian cat recently with SPG and she loved the groomer and her babys new cut. I just did a Level 4 shave with my white Persian cat and she looks PERFECT. It's wonderful because all I had to do was walk outside and put her in his awesome van! No scary car ride for my baby! Sam has been grooming our Labradoodle Wally for about 7 years. We've tried a couple of other groomers over the years, when Sam wasn't available. It's always a disappointment in the way Wally looks after and Wally's mood. Once, Wally wouldn't get out of bed for 2 days after a grooming and that was a lesson for us that we must always use Sam for grooming. Wally is a sensitive boy and a little on the shy/stand-off-ish side with most people. But Wally loves Sam and is always glad to see him, which makes me 100% confident that Sam will treat Wally just as I do. Plus, Sam does a perfect job grooming Wally and Wally always looks super cute after. Sam has a state of the art mobile vehicle with everything needed to bath and groom once he arrives at the house.
