The cut was uneven. They pretty much just gave up on his head and nicked the top of his head leaving it raw, so raw and red that it looked like it had bled. On top of all that it smelled like they had sprayed him with a heavy perfume. I ended up giving him another bath the smell was so strong. I chose to call this morning once I'd had a chance to cool off. I asked the person on the phone if he'd been the person there when we dropped off my dog and asked what happened? He asked what happened? I mentioned the terrible hair cut, the fact that my dog had been cut and that he reeked of perfume. He tried to tell me the haircut was agreed upon which I did not agree to a hack job! I've done a better job of cutting his hair with NO experience and managed not to hurt him. I started getting upset and misspoke stating that my dog had bled to which he quickly said he wasn't bleeding. I corrected myself and he still flat out denied that they had left his skin raw. By the time I got off the phone it turned very ugly. I didn't want to leave a bad review. Had they acknowledged and apologized things would have been different but they chose to get defensive instead. What a shame!

I found out a former family member put up our cat for adoption and was then later sent to this location. when I arrived there was a volunteer by the name of Kate who helped me out and I was able to get my baby girl back. Kate was so lovely and Wan so thank you for taking good care of my princess. I would also like to recognize a worker by the name of Adam who was truly such an angel and he slayed. Not only was Adam so happy for me but it was nice to get to know a little bit about him and how he loved his job because he loves animals so he felt like he was in the perfect place which honestly melted my heart. He was able to help me out with my coupons and get me the best deals for my baby girl. At the end when we said goodbye he told me "I'm so happy you got your baby back" and I was just so touched because I knew he meant it and that's how I truly knew he's an animal lover, I could just tell he was one of my peoples and he is that betch lol. This policy feels frustrating and inconsiderate to customers who plan their time around these appointments. If higher pricing is necessary, it would be more transparent to adjust base rates rather than introduce add-ons that delay standard appointments. YELP came to the rescue when I was searching for a dog walker for the first time in my life. I was going to be away from my house for over 10 hours during a recent weekend and needed to have someone walk my Ethel in the evening. Enter Purrs & Grrrs. Because they are local, you don't have to worry about anyone getting stuck in traffic. They offer a free meet/greet and ask all the right questions. Even the registration form asked some very specific and needed questions. I was very impressed by the registration process and how easy everything was. Even paying them was easy as a client can pay by using the CASH app. Otherwise, checks/cash are accepted as well. I advised them of the different walking areas that I usually take Ethel and even areas to avoid (streets that sometimes has loose dogs from the neighbors). I also asked that if they crossed a particular busy street, that they carry Ethel as I don't trust the cars and their drivers. They totally understood all my concerns and took notes as well. After they walked Ethel, I would get a text with pictures and letting me know how everything went. Because of that, my mind was set at ease as Ethel was taken care of and enjoyed the walk (see the pictures) Don't look any further, you have found your dog walking service!! I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Without hesitation, I will use Purrs & Grrrs again.
