The owner took him in without hesitation and I loved that he didn't get crated while waiting to get started, and didn't get crated once he was done while I came to pick him up. She had good communication with me during it to let me know when my dog would be done. It was also one of most reasonable dog grooming services I've seen around this area. Throughout that time, my experiences with Judy have consistently been wonderful. She has always been incredibly accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind when assisting with scheduling my dog's appointments. I'm not sure where she is currently, but the past few weeks have been unexpectedly challenging. After accepting the earliest available appointment--which was two weeks out--I asked to be notified if any cancellations became available. The person assisting me seemed uninterested in honoring that request, despite the fact that Judy has always taken the initiative to reach out and fit us in whenever possible. On the day of the appointment, an unforeseen situation arose at my daughter's school. I contacted the shop in hopes they might be able to work with me, even slightly. I offered to arrive a bit earlier or, if necessary, twenty minutes later. I was told they were fully booked and unable to accommodate any adjustment. Every reasonable option I proposed was met with resistance. I am uncertain who is currently overseeing scheduling, but the level of customer service does not reflect the care and professionalism Judy consistently provided. I sincerely hope that Judy is only away temporarily. If not, I may need to seek a mobile groomer who can offer the same level of attentiveness and customer care that she always delivered.

Since we're regulars, the employees recognize us and are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to see us. It really gives the shop that wonderful neighborhood feel that you just don't get at the larger chains. They also have a surprisingly great selection of pet supplies, treats, toys, and little critters. I almost never manage to leave with just the crickets -- usually an extra cat toy or treat somehow makes its way home with me too! Such a cute local shop with great people, and definitely a Montrose business worth supporting. We'll continue to be regulars!

This review is mainly for the petsitting & dog walking because we decided that was the best service they provided us. Just a quick note on grooming -- They only lost one star because the grooming wasn't entirely up to our standards. After our grooming visit, our dog experienced some temporary skin irritation on her back - possibly from dryer burns, hard brushing or just an allergic reaction to a shampoo used. Also, her hindquarters were clipped awkwardly, although that one may have been my fault for being unspecific in my request. Our dog and cat seemed like they were well taken care of on all the occasions we left them in this company's care. It was clear that our dog loved them. Our cat is sort of a snob, so who knows what he's thinking, but he did seem as content as usual when we got home. Tammy was our main sitter/walker there and our normally shy dog adored her & her little dog. Sometimes we'd run into them in the neighborhood and Star would get super excited to say hello. That says a lot! Also, the company was great about communication, before-during-after, provided easy billing, set up easy key exchanges and they were always pleasant & gracious. It was also nice that our home was always clean when we got home and everything was in its proper place. We recommend their petsitting & dogwalking services to others in Glendale. And we wish we didn't live so far away now so we could keep using them!
