Poor customer service, very unprofessional. I'm a new customer wanting their service, I had scheduled an appointment for this morning that was apparently cancelled without me knowing, they contacted a number that wasn't even my number. The girl on the phone had a tone like "oh, well sorry" and was happy to say "ok bye" when I said I was going to take my dogs somewhere else, at least offer something for the inconvenience. We have been very happy with the customer service as well as the grooming services. Everyone there has had a pleasant attitude and so helpful. They let us know that our dog had an ear infection and recommended that we bring her to the vet. So we brought her to the vet and sure enough, she did have an ear infection. Went there 4 times just for cutting and buffing my dog nails.. 1st and 2nd time was $20 for 5 minutes job, I agree to pay. 3rd time was $30 I asked why? She said because of her behavior. It was a 10 mints old poppy so I said it's ok. But 4th time they jacked up the price to $40 again I ask why? Steve said well because of sand and grinding equipment is expensive now. I told him you are not using 1 sand for each dog. , you using it on at least 10 dogs, so you charging each customer $10 extra but telling them the same story. They did an amazing job on my puppy Charlie!! He was pretty matted when I took him in but I wanted a short cut for summer anyways. He came back home very happy and eager to play! The staff was extremely nice and I appreciate that they were patient with my dog since I know he can be quite jittery for certain parts of the grooming process. Prices are great as well! oh wow Heidi and Quinn had such a pampered visit to Kim's pet palace Quinn was washed brushed and got her nails trimmed also cleaned ears well Heidi also got her ears cleared out got a wash a brush and cleared ears, face and feet trimmed nails she was matted up in the back of her legs and the cleared thatvall out she was good as new and twice as fluffy at the end of it all i can tell this shop and the amazing people that run it really cares about my Lil pups big (heidi) or small well smallish (Quinn) I'll be sure to bring my pups in for there grooming routine and let my friends and family know where to go read more

I'll never return to this place for any kind of service or give them my business ever again. The first time I brought my cat to get groomed they cut the shit out of my cats paw where I had to take her to the vet and pay out of my own pocket. not to mention they did a horrible job on grooming. I was hesitant to take my cat back to this place a second time, a year later, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Not to my surprise they did a crappy job again on the grooming. They are almost twice as expensive as other cat groomers I've called. The only reason I took my cat back to this facility was because of their availability. The straw that broke the camels back for me about this place was having to deal with this lady who had a very bad attitude problem, very rude, unprofessional and had the biggest frown on her face the entire time I was there. As I was talking to the owner this miserable lady ended up cutting a dogs leg while she was trimming the hair. She realized I saw what she did and quickly told me to step away from the window even though the window is meant for customers, since it is part of the customer waiting area after all. Knowing what I know now I would not even trust a rock with this lady. As a business owner all of my employees are trained to the highest level in order to provide the best customer service one business could offer. With that being said, if this lady was my employee, she would be fired on the spot with no questions asked just based on her shitty demeanor towards customers. read more

I have a small dachshund and today I took my dog for the first time, I was a bit nervous because I was afraid they weren't going to do a good job, the other groomers would forget to express his anal glands or he would have bumps on him etc.. so when I picked him up he was so soft and had a fresh clean smell and most importantly his nails were cut just right, the groomers there are very nice and very gentle with my dog, the funny thing was he wasn't crying when I came to pick him up he usually starts to bark as soon as he hears me, he did cry when I left him but that's to be expected no dog wants to be bathed lol, so I would definitely go back and refer my friends read more

HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE! We made an appointment for Friday morning at 9:00, when the store opens. We brought our two dogs and arrived promptly at 9:00, only to find the store not open. The groomer showed up around 9:15, but did not have a key to get in. She called the owner, who indicated she was on the way. At 9:30, we asked the groomer where the owner was, and were told that she had stopped answering her cell phone, so she didn't know what was going on. We ended up waiting until 10, and the owner never did who up. The shop remained closed, the phone was ringing and no one answering, and they lost our business, FOREVER. No one ever bothered to call us and explain or apologize for our wait. What type of business is this? read more

We took our two dogs in for a bath and a brush-out early on a Saturday morning. They were open early, which we liked. The place looked and smelled clean, and the staff we dealt with were very courteous and kind to our dogs. They finished quickly, and we had our dogs back home within about three hours. They looked and smelled wonderfully clean, and were very happy. We will definitely take our dogs back to Kim's as needed in the future. I would like to add as a response to an earlier review written, that it did not appear as if any of the staff we dealt with were on drugs--they looked us in the eye, were very courteous, and did their jobs well. read more

In the past 3 visits we've made appointments for first thing Saturday morning and they didn't even show to open the shop, the other 2 we were first into the shop and and yet the weren't done for over 6 hours! I tried to call them to let them know, and there phone is out of service. what kind of business doesn't have a working phone?? I plan on going in there and speaking to them in person. I'm not going back to that place. I've taken my long-haired cat to Kim's Pet Palace various times. Regardless of her file, I always tell them exactly what I want because they've messed up a little in the past. This time they really screwed up. I said, "Shave her, even her legs. Just don't shave her mane or her tail. Don't shave too close to the skin. She has sensitive skin." When I picked her up they had shaved her body, half of her tail, and all of her mane, but not her legs. On her neck she had bald patches. My poor kitty looked like a dork. It looked like they took the scissors to the back of her head. They gave her a bowl haircut. Her head looked detachable. I should have known better than to leave her there though. The people that work there look like meth addicts (missing teeth and all). read more

I'm very surprised to see any negative reviews at all, because I've been taking my pets (cats and dogs) to Kim's for over 10 years, and I've always been happy with their work. They are very gentle with the animals, but get the job done. I can drop my pet off first thing in the morning (on Saturday) and they phone me when it's time for me to pick up my pet. I will never go to Kim's ever again. This was their last chance and they blew it! They are the cheapest groomer's in town and you get what you pay for... bad service! Last year, I took my cat to Kim's for grooming. I took a bowl, a bag or food and water for him. They had him for 6 hours that day. When I picked him up, they had only given him a bath and had not shaved him like they were supposed to, so I held him while they shaved him. He was there a full day and they never gave him any of the food or water I provided. I was mad. Today, I gave them another chance. I dropped my cat off at 9:30 this morning and they said they would call me in a few hours when he was ready. At 12:30, I got a call saying they would not be able to groom him today because they couldn't get him out of his carrier. He had been there for 3 hours, locked in a carrier with no food or water or anywhere to go to the bathroom. I am furious! When I picked him up, the groomer said if you want to hold him I can do it real quick. I left and will never, ever go back there. They may be good with dogs, but I wouldn't trust them. read more
