The doctor recommended invisalign again to correct a few gaps in my teeth (I had invisalign a few years before but I guess teeth moved?). They quoted me a whopping $6k for invisalign and my teeth are not even that bad. I didnt even pay that much for my original invisalign. Then I decided to settle with invisalign retainers from them- called them several times and emailed them to try to get these. I spoke to the manager and she told me to be patient. Its been 6 months since my cleaning and havent heard back from them. Dont understand how patient I need to be... I transferred my care to another dental office and recieved my retainers within a week.

Understandably he's a very…read moremature man, so his treatment plan did not include newer, less destructive techniques such as adhesive dentistry. Crowns, a 100 yr old technique that grinds down significant amounts of existing tooth enamel and relies on adhesive what is known to fail in approx 20 years, is perhaps too archaic to consider, when newer composite adhesion techniques preserve existing enamel that can never be regained. The biggest impediment to pursuing treatment is sitting at Dr. Torbati's front desk. Mary, who likely learned her high pressure sales techniques at a weekend auto sales seminar, made every attempt to pressure me into a contract. This was during Covid, when no one knew how long employment earnings would be suspended. I had already been completely unemployed for 10 months when our conversation occurred. Still she threatened increased prices if I did not sign by the end of the month, showed zero empathy for my painful condition and treated me like a potential criminal, who would skip out on bills. I had agreed to the $15,000 treatment price and informed her I could send $4000 immediately and another $1200 in 30 days, but for the purpose of transparent honesty, said that after that I might need to put treatment on hiatus, until more funds were available. She doubled down on her pressure, like an angry badger. Mary attempted to exploit the fact that I was in constant pain. I further explained I'd never left a bill unpaid and my commitment was real but my own ethics would not allow me to sign a contract, in which I was not 100% sure I could deliver on the terms. Mary~ I don't think she's actually human. Be sure to always to filter by 1 and 2 star reviews, because the 5 star ones are at the top.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

STAY AWAY -- FRAUDULENT, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND SCARY EXPERIENCE This was hands down the worst and most stressful experience I've ever had with any medical professional. What started as a consultation with "Hollywood Star Smile" quickly turned into a bait-and-switch scam. Come to find out, the business name had suddenly changed to Luxe Dental -- a massive red flag I wish I had noticed sooner. I was pressured into leaving a deposit, only to later discover that unauthorized charges were taken directly from my account without my consent. When I called back to address the issue, I was met with extreme hostility. Nidia, the clinics manager, confirmed on a recorded call that I would receive a refund. That never happened. Instead, I was verbally attacked by the entire office. They ganged up on me, insulted me, and showed absolutely no professionalism or accountability. The dentist, Dr. Astaree, made it clear he didn't care about me or my dental health and admitted he'd refund me just to get me to stop calling. Let that sink in. This is who's supposed to care about your smile? To make matters worse, the veneers they tried to give me were ridiculously oversized. I couldn't speak, I couldn't close my mouth, and they expected me to be satisfied with that? They quoted me $8,000 which later came out to be a total of $15k for this disaster. The work was not only unflattering but downright scary-looking. This was my first time seriously considering cosmetic dental work, and thanks to this nightmare, it may be my last. If you value your money, health, and peace of mind, run in the other direction. This place is unethical, aggressive, and downright fraudulent. read more

I need to get my teeth professionally whitened on a regular basis because my teeth stain very easily, however, I have incredibly sensitive teeth. Even Crest Whitestrips send excruciating sharp pains through my teeth for at least a day after use, so I always avoid whitening sessions. I have been to a few top tier dentists in LA to get Zoom Whitening done, and the horrible experiences I had with pain after those visits almost made me give up on having white teeth for my sister's wedding. I decided to give whitening one last try after hearing about Luxe Dental Cosmetics, and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did! Dr. Nima is the most incredible dentist. He saw how anxious I was before starting the Zoom whitening process, and asked a lot of questions about my previous experiences, the pain I felt, and what he could do to help. He tailored my Zoom whitening process to address my concerns, and then helped me with the pain management before and after the procedure. I was able to continue my day with little to no discomfort. Dr. Nima is by far my favorite dental experience. His office is not just super clean, but gorgeous with an amazing view and nice furniture. During my recent visit, it seemed like Dr. Ghiam tried getting the two receptionists to talk me into scheduling future appointments. Towards the end of that appointment, the two front desk staffs came into the room I was in and tried convincing me that future appointments were necessary to "fix the damage." I felt like this was simply a way for the doctor to get more money from me because I have been a patient there for a year and he would put minimal effort in fixing the issue during the teeth cleaning appointments. I've reached out to the office multiple times to obtain my dental records from all visits and they were deliberately sending me files that were corrupted or unopenable to complicate the situation. If you weren't going to fix the issue then be transparent about it and give me my money back. But don't lie and say you're going to repair the damages if you have no intentions in doing so just so you can keep the money. If you're looking for a cosmetic dentist that's built on trust and transparency, look somewhere else because the one here does not meet those standards.

I was kindly greeted by the front desk staff who questioned me about my concerns and reasons for my visits. I communicated that I was there for a second opinion on a black stain in front of one of my tooth. Shortly thereafter, this same front desk staff insisted I needed a "FULL-SET of TEETH X-Ray" in order for the dentist to fully assess the issues I was coming in for... again (black stain on front of one of my tooth) After persistent pressure from this same front desk staff. I eventually retrieved and was able to provided them a set of full teeth x-rays from MyChart. I informed her I just got them done from another dentist less than a month ago and am not comfortable getting another set of x-rays as my insurance might not cover another one so soon. Despite all this , this same front desk staff insisted that she will give me a "Complimentary FULL-TEETH X-Rays and that she will not charge me for them. So I agreed, with the terms of what we discussed. However, after the dentist looked at my teeth / full set of x-rays his front staff pressured me to get. The Dentist found (other issues that needed to be fixed) which is fine , the dentist is entitled to his opinion about what he believes he needs to work on etc.. The dentist seemed really kind and caring from my short interaction with him. And seemed to have a genuine interest in helping.. So on my way out, I was directed to speak with their office manager to discuss my treatment plans , insurance and cost etc. after getting all the information I let the staff know I'll figure out my work schedule and payment for the treatment the dentist recommended and will call them when I have some time off and schedule my appt. After doing the math and figuring out that my insurance won't be able to cover all the treatments the dentist recommended.. I had kindly reached out and texted Bedford Dental if they can send me copies of these "complimentary" teeth x-rays so I can figure out which tooth specially is most important for me that I want the dentist to work on. And they immediately replied with "Hi April, we're happy to provide you with copies of your x-rays and photos. Since we had waived the fee for them, there's a small $75 fee to release the images for personal use or transfer. Once payment is received, we'll email them right over to you." -(October 15, 2025 10:58am) Ofcourse, I didn't pay them anything as the front desk staff insisted they were "complimentary". Then I get another message from them on 10/27/25 "Hello April, this is Bedford Dental Group. You have a balance of $131.00 due. Your insurance has paid this claim and this is your portion.Please use this secure link to pay" (Mind you I haven't gotten any actual work done on any of the tooth the dentist recommended he needed to work on since they refused to provide me copies of the x-rays so I can actually review and decide which tooth I want done first) To make long story short.. I called to get clarity on what exactly I was being charged for. And a woman name Erin answered and claimed it was for the "FULL-SET of TEETH x-rays and the dentist examining and my front tooth" Erin claimed they had tried and billed my insurance for the FULL-SET of X-Rays but my insurance refused to pay the full amount and now they want me to pay the difference. I asked is this for the same "complimentary x-rays your staff pressured me to get so the dentist can look at one of my front tooth with a black stain"? then after "remembering" the promises they told me of not being charged. This woman claimed she would "waive the fees" and send me a email copy for the fees waiver. Today is now 10/29/25 and still no confirmation email from them nor was I provided with a copy of the complimentary teeth X-RAYs (the same X-Rays they billed my insurance for) they refused to provide me with copies but had no issues billing my insurance and now tried to have me pay the bill me when their request wasn't paid. Maybe if this place has staff that embody the caring and genuine service I experienced when interacting with the dentist .. I might consider coming back to bring my business. But after all this , it's a hard pass for me. This is not the type of experience I want to have going to any dental office. Please learn to treat others like how you would want others to treat you, love ones and your family! With respect, honesty, courtesy and professionalism.

From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Dr. Gabai was professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. He took plenty of time with me, never made me feel rushed, and patiently answered every question I had. I really appreciated his honesty and the fact that I felt completely comfortable throughout the consultation. Even though I won't be moving forward with veneers, I was so impressed with the care and professionalism I received that I plan to continue seeing Dr. Gabai for my general dental care. It's not often you find a dentist who makes you feel so at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Gabai and his wonderful team.

The quality of care as well as the non-medical services have been excellent and beyond reproach both under Dr. Guillén and Dr. Becksteadt. Hence, we have never seen any other dentist. To be frank, we selfishly hope they continue providing services until we no longer need them. I don't think I can give them a better review than that.
