I trust them about as far as I could throw my Jeep! I ordered a hubcap badge for a jeep. He told me if I wanted it. It would be $30 if I wanted it right away it would be $60. I needed it right away cause I was leaving on a trip so I paid 60 bucks never got the part. I repeatedly called. He would not answer my callsI left messages and they wouldn't return my calls... They just completely avoided me. I had to go to the bank and stop payment on the transaction. and they finally did a stop payment on it. I finally got my money back three months later! I went there it to get my rim looked at, he quickly reviewed and was incredibly knowledgeable... he was able to tell that the rim was previously fixed within 2-3 mins and made suggestions that wasn't just focus on taking anyone's money but what was best. Don't trust them! They will sell you a defective rim and then refuse to make it right! Even go to the extent of accusing you of causing the defect! I am so disappointed, mad, and upset! My son is an 18 year old full time college student who paid almost $300 for this used rim and he now has to turn around and buy another rim thanks to Sam The Hub Cap Man. Gino was extremely rude and unprofessional and Sam the owner who prides himself of his 38 years of business wasn't any better when I asked for a return call from the manager. BEWARE! I was referred by Gerber Collision in Wesley Chapel to him in regards of getting new rims/tires on my leased 2021 Bmw m440i. Initially I needed to replace my cracked rim, the replacement of two tires and to fixed the back driver rim.I didn't want to go through insurance so I signed up for the 100 day same as cash program for 1700. I repeated over and over again that this is a leased BMW everything needs to be new oem parts when its returned. I was told that wouldn't be a problem so i dropped the car off. A few hours laters I got a call from Sam saying the bent rim cant be fixed and that I need a new rim. He told me the new rim would be another $700. I told him at this point I would go through insurance because its now becoming expensive.My Allstate agent spoke with Sam and they did a virtual walk through of the car. Sam sent the agent the invoice which allstate paid. The tires came in fine but the two rims that I ordered took a while. They both were supposed to be jet black m performance rims. The rim from nyc came in first then the one from cali came in a few days later. Sam called me and told me that I can come pick up the car shortly. I paid for the uber and halfway through the ride he calls me to says the shop sent the wrong rim and its machine grey instead of jetblack. I told him well I need him to send it back asap and to get the right rim. Sam started talking about how he can get to them to color correct this but he will need more time. I explained that he has already had my car for a week. I then explained again that the car is leased it has to be the same exact rim as I purchased the vehicle. He told me well the part number is the same but to let him fix it. Against my better judgement I did and it was the worst mistake ever. I picked my car up a few days later and he even tried to keep my old rims. Why would I give you my rim when I just paid for one? I told him that If im paying full price for new rims, he's not keeping them. After a few mins he gave me the rim. I took the car to bmw for the alignment right after I left sam shop. The bmw dealer called back after doing their inspection and ask who did the rim job to your car? The tech proceeded to tell me they are recommending the wheels be replaced as they ARE USED RIMS. I explained it must be a mistake as they are supposed to be new. The tech reassured me those rims are far from new and told me about the craftsmanship on the rims. BMW sent me the video of the rims and you can see where they repaired/welded the rim, didn't paint it correctly one of the poorest jobs I ever saw. Why would a brand new rim that was just put on have work done to it if it was REALLY NEW! immediately called sam to ask him why did he sell me used /refurb wheels and he says i never told you they were new. He then catches an attitude when I told him we paid for new rims, I expect new rims. I gave him the part number for the rims and never told my insurance agent or me that im putting used rims on a $70000 car. What's worse is that I have a quote from BMW with the rim cost for a 2 brand new rims which for $1500 where he charged me the same amount for USED/REFURBISHED RIMS. Explain to me why would i pay for used when I can get the oem new part for the same price at BMW. He was caught charging new rim pricing on used/refurb rims and got mad. He told me this is all my fault because I pushed the issue!! Sir understand you told and sent a licensed insurance agent invoice quoting new rim prices only to provided a used/refurbished rim. He then starts telling me I'm not talking to you, have the insurance agent call me. Sam was rude, unprofessional, dishonest and I don't recommend. In order to get my money back, I had to have BMW take my car off the lift, drive the car back to his shop to let him take off the rims because he told me he wasn't going to driving to bmw. I had to get the crack rims put back on and have it towed back. You don't run a business by being dishonest by invoicing for new bmw rim prices only to slap on used/refurb rims then get mad when you're caught!!! read more

9/9/2015 1PM The worst customer service ever. No shame and no respect to any. The employee seemed to be lazy and hating his job because he had to unload a shipment, sadly takes it out on customer. I feel so sorry for the owner to have such an employee like that. Specially when a very good friend of mine referred me to them and spoke very highly of Sam The hubcap man. I am only rating them this low only based on the experience I had today. Extensive selection of hubcaps : new, fancy , used, cheap. Since I'm not the best driver I returned for my 4th hubcap in 2 years. After checking my car the guy came back and I was quoted $37 (used with lots of scratches) to $75, like what a deal! But, "I've only spent like $20 on my others"-oh them we have that one for $22.50. What am I blonde??? So with tax paid $24 and he nicely installed it for me. Normally I'd give them a 5 star rating but didn't like the round about sales pitch . The father wasn't there, so maybe they were trying to make a few extra $ or possibly an error in communication. Let's see how long I can keep all 4 this time! read more

Ok, so I was talking to Sam about getting a 3" lift and some nice tires and wheels for my 2014 Tacoma.... Talking for about a year. He finally asked if I was going to do it or just keep talking. So, I finally gave him the keys and said, "Do it!". I picked out the rims and let him pick the tires. Result: Awesome!!! Sam and Gino did a great job as it looks and rides great. They installed a quality lift kit and tires which have great reviews on Amazon. The Toyo tires look fantastic, have an aggressive tread and are amazingly quiet. They also have a great treadwear rating, so I should get a lot of miles out of them them. Overall, I am very happy with the job they did, my truck looks much better and the price was very reasonable. I thought my rim was repaired but two days later it's not holding air.. came back twice once in the morning at 9am.. couldn't look at it.. busy doing paperwork or whatever.. waited 30 minutes.. still no help!! not that busy!! Came back again TODAY at 540 and said they were closed and I needed to come before 530pm.. but u close at 6pm.. won't get another penny from me!! 170.00 down the drain for a bent wheel that wasn't repaired correctly in the first place! So sad because I have come here before and never received such horrible service. read more

I'm a dummy and dinged my brand new Ford 20" rim on a curb. Did a quick internet search and came up with Sam's. Sam took a look and gave me a quote to fix it, to replace it with a refurb and a brand new one. He gave me a lot of options at different price points. I appreciated his effort and options. He was very knowledgable and quick. He ordered me a rim on Tuesday from half way across the country and I have it on my car by Friday morning. Great work and professional environment. Wow!! So here I am driving my girlfriends car and I blast a median at 70mph!!! The rim was bent and now I am going to be in trouble with my girlfriend. I needed the exact same rim pronto before she found out. I called up Sam and he said he had a nice used rim for cheap. The rim actually looks nicer than the other three rims on her car. 30 minutes later the rim and tire were installed, and now my girlfriend will never know I was driving like a lunatic in her car unless she reads this, and what are the chances of that ever happening???! Don't let the name fool you! This place is more than hubcaps. I brought my wife's car in to have one wheel straightened and have 4 new Michelin tires installed on all the wheels. I had purchased the tires from Tire Rack, and contacted two other "tire places" here in Tampa. Both other tire places, which were "recommended" installers for Tire Rack, gave me a run around, and would not stick to the prices quoted by Tire Rack! I notified Tire Rack. I did some research on line and found "Sam the Hubcap Man". They have the tools and ability to repair and straighten wheels! I needed this as one wheel had damage. They fixed it!. They also mounted and balanced all my other wheels. I had the opportunity to watch Alex, their technician and he is methodical and careful in how he handles the tires and rims. He also did something else which impressed me. He cleaned the mounting surface the wheel hub sits on so that if the wheel needs to be removed again, it will not be difficult caused by rust between these two surfaces! This is something I do, when I do my own tire rotation and I have never seen a tire shop do this! When I was checking around I found their prices to be competitive and fair. The appearance of the shop won't compete with the Porsche Dealer, or the Ferrari Dealer, but then again neither will the prices. Huge selection of fancy wheels here, and of course, hubcaps!. This place is a "diamond in the rough" and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. By the way, my background: Retired from major auto parts supplier company. Drag raced, SCCA sports car racing.
