I live about 30 mins away, but I'm in Los Gatos often so it's convenient to have a studio nearby that I love. I've been over 5 times so far (whenever I'm in town), and every instructor I've had is equally amazing. The studio is pretty cold when you walk in, but within 5 minutes you're warmed up and it becomes the perfect temperature for a workout. The music is great and this studio is a vibe. The upbeat, popular music they play adds a motivating energy that makes those tough exercises more bearable! Plus, the reformers are wiped down after each class, and the calming scent in the studio is such a nice touch. What really sets this studio apart from others is that they also offer weight training and HIIT classes which is located next door. If you're looking to mix things up with other forms of exercise, this is the perfect place to do it! Classes are booked through their app, where you can even select your preferred spot. Some teachers put up a great challenge even in level 1 while others made it pretty easy and I didn't feel like my core was getting the challenge it needed. Almost always the reformer level 2 classes were booked so we couldn't end up signing up for those weeks in advance. We attended one by a new / training teacher and that was fabulous. Decided not to continue because the reformer level 2s were super hard to get into and wish there were more of those.

She also didn't show us how to do any of the modifications. Also, no corrections at all. The studio has been that way since inception, but it's especially important for COVID 19 guidelines when we get to return to meeting in person for sessions. In the meantime, Linda and her crew provide excellent Mat classes with a variety of times available. Every workout is fun and challenging, but not so much that you are super sore and can't move the next day. Linda is a fantastic instructor with very precise cueing and instruction of each exercise. Its a perfect mix of strengthening, balance, and flexibility the Pilates Lane way!

I'd heard of Lagree but never really knew what it was, and didn't even know this was Lagree going into it, but it's basically a more intense form of pilates that uses a megaformer vs the traditional one. I'm glad I had a base of already working out and trying two other similar classes before coming here, so it was a little less intimidating. I think a beginner could definitely get the hang of this, but having a good foundation felt necessary to get the full benefits of the class and workout. And of course instructor direction and examples were a big factor in succeeding in the classes as a newcomer. I've had a handful of different instructors and have definitely found the one that is more my style and more motivating to me (shout out Ankitha), but I've generally liked all of the instructors enough to go back to their classes. Finding an instructor that works for you makes all the difference though when you're powering through a touch class, which these often are. I originally signed up for their first timers offer of 4 classes for $99. Other than that, without a membership classes run at $38 per, but they have a ton of different packages and memberships that could make classes range from $11 (if you went every single day) to $30 with a larger upfront cost. I ended up getting a class pack so that I wasn't limited or expected to attend a certain number of classes a month and have really liked the flexability. They have tons of classes throughout the day and week, so finding an opening isn't too hard.

They had a deal for unlimited classes (31 classes) for $149 I believe, and it's such an amazing offer, especially if you're going to be consistent with going and making use of your credits. The instructors are so lovely and I haven't encountered any issues with anyone there. Stacey and Annie are my favorite instructors. They care so much about your form and your comfort, which I appreciate so so much. I haven't been there long enough yet to experience the other instructors more than once yet, but the experiences I've had have all been wonderful and positive! Some poses were challenging, but she does a great job coaching and keeping the energy up. Then I tried the V2 Reformer + TRX class with Michele--the equipment and Michele really worked us out. We focused a lot on arms, legs, and core, and I definitely felt like I got a solid workout. Both instructors were super nice, and I like the open, airy space in the studio. Everything is super clean and well-organized. Each station is fully stocked. The instructor lets you know what items you'll need for class but they also have a wall chart that shows what equipment will be used for the class. They have cubbies for your stuff, and don't forget to bring grip socks! Also, I found parking right in front of the studio--super convenient. Looking forward to my next class!
