The staff at Issaquah Endodontics were so incredibly kind and welcoming that it really took some of the edge off for me. Dr. Gabel was outstanding. I had to have a root canal done so my nerves were both literally and figuratively wracked. Dr. Gabel said "the best root canal is one you don't feel" and he made absolutely sure I was in no pain at all. It takes a lot to make me calm in this types of situations ever since my previous bad dental experience but he was so cool, calm and collected - it was obvious I was in excellent care. The whole time I was thinking "man, this guy is a pro." He really is. I don't recommend needing a root canal but if you ever do, Dr. Gable is your guy.

I called after seeing they offer emergency dental services, and they were able to get us in the same day, which we really appreciated. The clinic itself is very clean, modern, and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well-organized and professional. The doctors were attentive and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process and why the treatment was needed. We never felt rushed, and they made sure we fully understood everything before moving forward. After imaging, it was determined that he needed a root canal, which they were able to complete on-site. We also scheduled his crown appointment with them, which we really appreciated -- it was great to have everything coordinated in one place instead of being referred elsewhere. Dr. Shahd Nawari was my endodontist and she did an excellent job. Going back to work the next day, I didn't need to take additional ibuprofen to get through the day. (Not a procedure that anyone I know looks forward to) That being said, I will testify that Dr. Kenji Beppu has made these experiences as tolerable as possible. His skillset has provided me with exceptional pain relief, while performing with great bedside manner and explanatory dialogue during the treatment. His follow up protocol is unusual, as I've received wellness checks/calls from him on the evening of each of these visits. Looks like this office is worried about money more than patients health, so based on my experience with their staff I DO NOT recommend them.

Later this year, during one of my weekly Invisalign check-ins, my orthodontist noticed a small cyst forming above the tooth that had the root canal and told me to get it checked out. I first went back to my old dentist (whom I've since switched from), and they referred me back to my original endodontist for a re-treatment. But since my previous experience there wasn't great, I decided not to go back. Instead, I found a new place -- Kirkland Endo. They require a referral from your general dentist, so I called my current dentist's office, and they immediately sent over all my records. Kirkland Endo scheduled me for a consultation the very next day and the actual treatment the day after. Super efficient! Everyone at Kirkland Endo was incredibly kind and professional. My treatment was done by Dr. Rude, and the experience was fantastic! He was kind, polite, confident, and had such a warm smile -- honestly gave me friendly "Dr. Carlisle from Twilight" vibes! The whole procedure took about an hour. From the moment the strawberry-flavored numbing gel went on to the very end, I didn't feel a hint of discomfort. The best part? He was able to treat the root canal by making a tiny hole through my crown -- then sealed it up perfectly. I didn't even need to get a new crown! I walked out feeling great and so relieved -- literally sat in my car afterward and wrote this review right away!

I'm a needle-phobe and he explained the process, having me look away before he started. I never felt a thing, not even a pinch. Dr. Rude instructed about dealing with post procedure pain. I never had any pain after the anesthetic wore off. I think he is so good and precise at what he does that apparently nothing gets traumatized.
