This is the best place to learn and practice traditional Bikram yoga. The owners are extremely experienced teachers and pay attention to everyone who comes to practice during the session. I love watching and learning from teachers who always practice with us. Learning their techniques and wishful thinking that I will be able to do someday. The studio is very large and clean hardwood floor. The ventilation system is top notch.I've been practicing at so many different studios when traveling all over west coast and this is one of a few places has this ginormous ventilation system. They don't need to open the door to cool down the studio. Consistently same temperature. Easy to breathe instead worrying about inhaling stinky air. Some studios keep carpets or fake foamy floors which we can't hold still while posing. The owners don't advertise a lot about their studios but I believe their place is the very best if you are willing to do Bikram. read more

NO warm welcome there when I came in and the place smells like mold. I walked in for my first appt. I had to stand and wait awhile for someone to come out to greet me, not a big deal, but finally an old lady came out and asked me "can I help you?" "Yes I am new here" I told her, but there was no warm welcome she just asked what my name was and signed me in and that was it for her, she did not want to talk to me or show me around. I had to ask her was there showers here and she looked at me and said with a straight face "Are you trying to take one now?" Than looking at me like I was crazy asking her that! I said "No I just wanted to know if you had showers here." She then said "yes" and did not show me around the place or make me feel comfortable at all being there! I told her I had health issues that is why I am here and she said "Dont we all have them!" and walked away from me to go in the Hot Yoga Room. I then found my way around the place on my own and put my things away to go to the classroom. Once in the classroom, the mold smell was stronger in there! When I put the yoga mat down in place, two spots behind the old lady who came out to greet me, she then moved her yoga mat all the way across the other side of the room, how rude she was to me from the start. Mind you she was settled in her spot when I got in the room! Then when class was over she made darn sure she was the first one in the shower, I believe she is one of the owners there as well. As you can guess I will not be coming back and my neighbor who was going to go and signed up for one class and paid for never went there because of what I told her happen there! You could not pay me to go back there even if they got the mold under control. I dont think anyone is cleaning the air vents at all. They meaning (the old man and old lady) owners of the place gave me the feeling they did not want me there! A student in the classroom came out after the class and tried to give me some pointers, not the owners there, neither one of the owners made me feel welcome to be there. Yes I said it several times "NO WARM WELCOME!" Customer service is everything, but they dont care they want only people they want in their class was my feeling about the place! The mold smell alone would have made me not come back even if had they been nice to begin with! I smiled when she finally came out of the hot yoga room to see about me after I walked into the place. I was nothing but nice to the owners. Dont go there go somewhere else. When you are done with a Yoga class you should feel good coming out, clearly this is not the case here! read more

Almost all the classes in this studio are the 90 minute Bikram (Gosh) series which is so hard to find anymore. It's a very nice space to practice yoga, very clean, and the ventilation system is top notch and set up so that everyone in the class is breathing clean air. The studio is hidden around the corner from Pomegranate. Very clean studio with special ventilation system to keep the air clean. I like the husband and wife instructors. They are both very good instructors that know when to push you and when not too. Sometimes I'm in such a zone I don't even hear them when I'm suppose to change positions. I have gone to the 9am class and 5pm class and they are not full at all. Partly because the studio is big so it fits a lot of folks. I like the extra space so I'm not almost hitting or touching someone with my sweaty hands. I feel sad when work gets so busy that I don't have time to go. It's just so relaxing. Great yoga studio, really nice teachers and an awesome atmosphere overall. The yoga studio is state of the art with anti-microbial floors, fully mirrored walls and a special ventilation system that keeps the air hot and clean. The teachers are amazing as they don't push you to do any crazy positions, instead they show you modified poses if you struggle with anything. On the other hand, if you want to try more advanced stuff you can and they are happy to assist. -The pricing is very competitive and they offer a variety of payment plans. I went to ashram in Bellevue where the heating is awful like being roasted like a chicken under these heaters on the ceiling. The heat is so awful the teachers save their spot in the 4 places in the room where you are not directly under a heater. In the opposite spectrum, The heat here is perfect. I can't believe 1) It took me so long to get here after the good things I heard about this studio 2) No one on Yelp has reviewed it yet Lots of yoga studio openings on the Eastside over the last few years. This one stands out. The owners (whom I believe are the only teachers) clearly love yoga and are devoted to their practices. This is without a doubt one of the nicest studios in the Seattle area, and it's because they built something they wanted to practice in. Large changing room with lots of cubbies for your stuff. Huge yoga room with hardwood floors (not stinky carpet). I saw her mopping before class - not sure if it's in between all the classes, but it's definitely better than once a day (or in the case of some studios, never). Huge space, and the class was really small. It's hot yoga, but the ventilation is so great that there's no stink at all. Only one drawback with the hard floors (and I think it's worth it), it might not be that comfortable with a thinner mat. Instruction was good, though I want to attend more than one class before I make my final judgment on that. They offer hot yoga (Bikram style), power yoga, and yin yoga. I went to a power class and found it to be sufficiently challenging. The flow was a bit fast, so a beginner would probably have trouble following it - but everyone in that class had done plenty of yoga. I was asked if I was familiar with power yoga when I signed up, so it probably would have been a slower class if a beginner was there. I liked how the instructor did most of the class along with us instead of just narrating. I will definitely be back. I think more people should go and get that yoga room a little more full. I decided to try out this wonderful studio in order to detox with a friend/coworker after our Mexican madness. I have no intention of eating a chip or salsa for another 2 months. I do have intentions of returning here! The two instructors are friendly and make a strong effort to know your name as well as assist you in your progress. Their enthusiasm is contagious and I constantly find myself pushing my balance/strength a little bit farther. The room is hot but not Ican'tbreathgetmeoutofhere panice heat. I'm not a huge fan on Yin Yoga but perhaps it's because I do need to stretch longer and harder. Classes are never packed and the shower facility it perfect after a sweaty session! Every class is 90 mins which gives your body time to go deeper; Teachers are super knowledgable and kind, it helps that they are also the studio owners; Students going there mostly are the serious practitioners been practicing there for many years, you learn from them every time. This is a great Yoga Studio, probably the best I've been so far. The place is really clean and the instructors are really nice and knowledgeable. Having the owners working there gives that extra touch and attention from them. I heard that other places have stuffy air, but this is not one of those. It's a real pleasant experience to do Yoga here. I feel like I get a very good workout every time I go. They have many class times, from the early morning to evening, which help with my busy work schedule. I went to my second class here today and I cannot express how wonderful the studio is! I had never participated in a hot yoga class before and the instructor, Elliot, helped me along the way and I felt at ease. The room was extremely clean and did not smell like I had expected. Spacious dressing rooms with showers available. The prices are reasonable and first timers can get 2 weeks for 25 dollars! I like this studio a lot! It's very clean, it has a very good ventilation system and the instructors are friendly and accommodating. There are 60 min and 90 min classes and you can get a good work out from each class or just exercise at your own pace. Highly recommend it! read more

This is an amazing gem that I feel lucky to have found. Before moving here from Burbank I did a search of all the yoga studios in the area and this was the only one that offered 90 minute traditional 26/2 classes. I adore the studio, the teachers, and the other students. The studio is spotless and the owners clearly take pride in their work and their impeccable studio. I read the other reviews and could not believe the hostile vitriol that one person sprayed all over the review in what appeared to be an attempt to character assassinate the owners and harm their business. I'm glad to have decided to see for myself or I would have missed out on a great opportunity to practice with fabulous teachers in a wonderful studio. This is the best hot yoga studio I have been to so far. If you have ever stepped into a sweaty, so-steamy-you-can't-breathe studio and cringed because the place reeks of body odor and whatever else that dude next to you had for lunch, you can rest easy: that will not happen here. This spacious studio has amazing ventilation that keeps the air smelling clean, and has hardwood floors all around. The changing rooms have cubbies, showers, and even hair dryers... so luxe in comparison to most places! It's nice to know that you can walk out as put together as you walked in instead of the hot post-yoga mess you learn to accept as the norm. I've tried 4 different yoga studios in Redmond area, and this one is the best. First, the studio is spacious and super clean. The owner cleans the floor after every class. (Some other studio I've been to is so dusty, you can see people's hair on the floor, yuck!) Second, the instructors always demostrate the poses and correct your postures if needed. Most studio instructors don't do that. They just tell you what the next pose is. I got great improvements here. Third, the instructors are nice, easy-going people. They know every member by name. With the improved ventillation system it does not seem to get HOT. But I am sure if the instructor just turned up the temp it would go from warm yoga to hot yoga! I went to a class and the teachers voice was so loud and not soothing/relaxing. I could hardly hear the music. They had showers which was nice but other than that I was not impressed. When I tried to contact the owner about a refund on the 5 class card that I purchased prior to taking my first class he said that he wouldn't give me a refund. I said I would pay the regular price for the class I took but he said he would not give me a refund. He said he could be flexible with the expiry date of the pass (even though that wasn't a policy) but that it was not their policy to give refunds (he later said that times were tough and he didn't have my money to refund to me). I really applaud the man because he was positive the whole time and kept telling me how I should give the pass to a friend or let my husband use it. He went on and on telling me about the benefits of yoga for basketball players... as if he didn't really didn't care at all about where I was coming from or asking of him. Kind of weird if you ask me. Anyway, yoga is about flexibility (among other things) and the fact that the owner could be so oblivious to the needs of a customer is CRAZY to me. What happened to customer service? Anyway, I would not recommend this place at all. I am a stay at home mother of 2 and I have limited ME time. I do Pilates with a woman who takes classes here and she urged me to try it. I have nothing but positive things to say about both the studio and instructors. The studio is clean and I love the hardwood floor. The dressing room and showers are also nice. Classes are at convenient times for me, and it's never super crowded which is nice. I am so impressed with Sammamish Hot Yoga. They use a top-of-the-line heating/ventilation system so you don't have to breathe recycled CO2. They keep their studio clean and sanitary. The best place to practice yoga! I love the instructors, they are very knowledgeable and super nice! They push hard but recognize limits caused by injuries, and help. I always feel welcome, leave relaxed (and exhausted!!) and with an elevated mood, even if I didn't physically do my best that day. They leave me feeling encouraged for a better practice the next day.
