The front desk area is welcoming and warm. I was greeted kindly and check-in was super simple. The space is so relaxing, open, and just has a great energy. They were also able to do a very soft lighting to keep the mood calm but also make it easy if people needed to see. Parking was also pretty easy. Two small things to note. First is that they do not have any props to borrow. I forgot a pillow and ended up just rolling up my sweatshirt. Totally fine, just something to note- definitely make sure you bring what you need. Second- the bathroom is connected to the studio in a way that you can hear people using it during practice. This is a little annoying and awkward for the person going, but I understand there is not a good way to remedy this.

Since their website address leads to a broken link I reached out on facebook messenger. I used one of Facebooks canned responses to ask 'Do you have any promotions?' and the response was 'Never. I find that kind of model disgusting'. Didn't know asking if they have a promos was such a negative question and I asked them to elaborate, but have not gotten a response. Wow, my abs have not been this sore in a while! I had heard about Knotty Yoga through the aerial…read moregrapevine and decided to give it a chance when one of Meetup groups planned a meetup here. I took the intro class that was specially priced at $19. For an hour and a half, it was an incredible deal that I could not pass up...and it was more than worth it! There were about 18+ people in the class and we started with a warm up on the silks. Afterwards, we watched Mason and 2 other instructors demo on the rope, silks, and lyra respectively. We then learned a few things on the silks and did a quick stretch of the upper body. The verdict? The warmup is NOT a beginner warmup. There's lots of balancing of the upper body on the arms or forearms while the legs are held up by the silk apparatus. As the body is balancing, it is moving forwards, backwards, and twisting side to side. For me, the warmup was great and challenging, but I could see it being difficult for a beginner. Vivian was the instructor on the silks. I found her explanations and demonstrations thorough as I had previously learned one of the tricks at another studio but had not understood it fully until Vivian explained it another way. We were learning how to climb the silks and even though there was heavy emphasis on the use of the legs, I didn't hear any guidance about relieving any tightness in the forearms or the hands during the instruction. And in the cool down/stretching, there was no focus on these parts of the body at all. For the cool down, we paired up and all we did was twist the upper body while pulling on each others arms. Time was up but I wished that there would have been more time for more thorough stretching. Now I realize that there were a lot of people in the class and it was an intro class so I am probably calling out personal particulars, but I was really impressed with the overall vibe of the studio. I like their whole hybrid exercise modality idea. The instruction was awesome. The studio is a great space and I am especially looking forward to taking future classes in trapeze and lyra. Lastly, I find the pricing options a great value.

She was hyper aware of the entire class, giving targeted recommendations when needed, which tremendously helped me to improve my practice. Normally, I leave yoga classes at other studios wishing it was hotter or more humid. I finally got my wish at Go Yoga Kirkland and was humbled and challenged in all the right ways. A very nice bonus is Jamie seemed to always know the perfect times to let cool air into the room. I walked away from my class feeling stronger and incredibly satisfied. If you haven't been here yet, they offer an incredibly generous $7 for your first week (7 classes). You won't find an introduction package this good anywhere else. This is a special spot and one of the best is the greater Seattle area!

It was my first or second week of yoga classes in the studio. I felt a little overheated during the…read moreclass and went to lay down on a wooden bench in a hallway. I didn't walk around or touched anything, just lay down on a bench to cool down a bit. The studio Manager (who is also a yoga teacher was in the hallway at that time) approached me and began expressing concern for my health and suggesting that I take some easier classes. Which is wonderful and understandable, thank you very much! Then she said the following: "Another reason not to leave the room during class is that people might feel uncomfortable with you being around their belongings. I'm not saying that you would steal anything, but they might be concerned because they don't know you." Just like that, almost word for word - I have an excellent memory. When I eventually spoke my mind on this topic (in email), the Manager sent me a long email full of explanations. She was clearly standing by her words, even repeating them, justifying them by saying that stealing has happened in the studio before. In the same email, she informed me that my studio pass is being terminated and I'm not to return to the studio. Let me tell you about myself. I'm an immigrant speaking with an accent and a white-passing person of color; I work in Higher Education. I've told this story to many of my colleagues and friends. Everyone is in disbelief and asking me - did it happen here, in our state!?! Yep... If the management of this studio believes that I was not treated in any irregular or unusual way, and if they stand by their comments, they should turn their words to me into a studio policy for everyone to consider, not only me! It could go something like this: "Coming outside the room into a hallway during class is discouraged. One of many reasons, people might be uncomfortable with you, our lovely and valued customer, being left unattended around their belongings. Unless they know you, of course! BTW, we are not saying that you would steal anything, no-no! Don't get us wrong! We're only expressing what others might think of you!" :-)

Statement from owner was posted on Instagram, "...to reach out to all active students with options to transfer." Never heard a word from the owner except for his bullying comments on Yelp. It is unfair and unethical for a business to shutter its doors without refunding membership or option to use credits at another studio. Seems like a very anti-yoga practice and treatment for a business built on this peaceful form of exercise meant to foster physical and mental well-being.

Unexpected change of instructor at the last minute, so I canceled class. Received penalty notification as expected and did not have any issues. I decided to notify them, as I believe communication is important and also respectful when you're a no show. Instead, I got a series of emails from the owner that wasn't pleasant, but more combative and defensive. She also made sure to indicate boldly in her communication that she is the "OWNER" when I didn't ask and was trying to close the toxic display of her communication towards me. Quite sad frankly to learn of an owner who practices against its mission statement. Be wary.

In recent years, our primary use of the facility was the swimming pool, where lane-sharing during busy periods became increasingly frustrating and confrontational. Several members routinely refused to share lanes and responded aggressively when approached. Despite bringing these concerns to management, we felt that staff failed to enforce the rules and, at times, appeared to accommodate those monopolizing the pool. The situation became so unpleasant that we ultimately stopped feeling comfortable using a facility we had once enjoyed. If you're considering joining, save yourself the headache. There are plenty of other clubs in the area with saltwater pools, professional staff, and, most importantly, a more respectful and welcoming community. AC

Personally I don't like making accounts at random websites and would have preferred to have it done over phone. When I got to Innerfit for my appointment there was no one at the reception and I thought they were closed. I rang their doorbell and was greeted by Theresa who was my massage therapist. Theresa was warm and welcoming. She had 17 years of experience in this business and she did a great job. She told me they had to cut down because of COVID and were slowly getting back their business, which explained the empty reception area. I felt very comfortable and relaxed after my massage. So apart from the slight issue with making appointment everything else was great. Theresa made up for it by giving me a great massage. The massage room was small but clean. There was light music for ambience. I had a good experience overall.
