They were so great with my husband and I, making sure they were set up the way we wanted and so great with our guests! I made my way to the very right side of the store where the bakery and food stands were. The cashier was friendly and I ordered quite a bit of bakery items including a taro bun, red bean cream bun, macaroons, a cookie, and a Thai tea with boba. Everything was delicious, no complaints! I do wish more things were in stock but being that everything tasted great, I'm sure Hong Kong Bakery gets a lot of traction. This is a great small bakery. The location is hard to find but just remember...it's inside the grocery store. In terms of service, the workers were friendly but my drink took a little longer than I expected to come out... like it was ready after a bunch of other people got their orders (who were behind me in line), so that was interesting. I got the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte! This was on their seasonal menu so I definitely wanted to try it. It either came in matcha or espresso form, but the worker recommended matcha to me. Upon the first sip, I definitely tasted the matcha. It was a bit earthy tasting, but not the earthiest I have had. After I mixed the drink together (little pushing the vanilla wafers down to breakdown into little pieces), the banana pudding taste really came through. I am not a fan of matcha, but I enjoyed the drink... probably because the banana pudding flavor overpowered the matcha flavor after mixing everything thoroughly. If you like matcha, then this is your go-to spot in Charlotte! There is probably something most people would like here as they also have non-matcha options as well.

My friend had the Veggie Stir Fry Egg Roll and really enjoyed his as well. I didn't get to try a shaved ice this time around, by the time I tried to circle back the line was crazy. The two ladies that own the truck are really nice, helpful, and provide great service. I will definitely come back to try more egg rolls and shaved ice especially as it gets warmer outside.

The presentation of the drink was good. My first sips were also very good. But as i continued to drink I noticed that my milk tea was really sweet, a little more than what I would have liked. Then I noticed that the tapioca balls were also with a weird consistency which is what I didn't like about them last time as well. If I have the chance to come back I def would try something new like a refresher.
