Mango Matcha with oatmilk

I am a matcha lover and this is THE BEST matcha cafe ever! My favourite matcha is their mango matcha, it is just perfect! It's a very cute appointment to chill or do work at. The service is amazing, and they know how to make a good, and correct, matcha.

I stopped by while in the Arboretum. I've just started sampling matcha in different beverages and food. This was a first and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't eat much sweet desserts and this was a very refreshing treat. Cold, smooth flavorful and a pleasant taste. I'm glad I stopped by. I really like this place!

Maiko Special

When I first drove by this place I thought it was a matcha latte place but I was pleasantly surprised to find they also serve delicious soft serve ice cream (including Matcha of course!). The matcha is high quality and the Maiko Special I got was huge but delicious. I wasn't able to finish it because of the size and richness of the matcha and wished that I had gone with a swirl flavor to cut the richness of the matcha. However, it was still a nice, unique treat. It was on the pricey side though and I do think spending almost $10 on a soft serve ice cream sundae is a bit too steep.

The cashiers were so friendly and inviting. It was my first time and then I saw the word dirty and asked what makes it dirty?! lol I left with a lot of laughs, trying a new drink - dirty matcha latte and a really good muffin I did not prefer the matcha. It wasn't bad but I like mine to be more sweet to not get the bitter aftertaste. Otherwise the crumble muffin was a treat. Just would have liked it warm but it was the middle of the day. My son enjoyed his ice cream. It was big and he didn't want to finish it...so I did! Delicious!

I came across this place on Yelp and decided to give it a go. I entered at 11:57 am and was told to wait outside till they opened at 12:00. I completely understand the protocol so I went back to my car till 12:05. When I entered, there was a long line and every table was full. I immediately was happy because a full cafe is a wonderful sign. There are high stool tables and low seat chairs. I wanted a Ube/matcha mix. Sadly, they didn't have any Ube so I ordered the seasonal iced blueberry matcha. I did not like it. My personal preference is a sweetener matcha. I won't revisit but I'm happy that I tried this cafe out.

My bestie boo wanted to come here for matcha so why not?? Since they had soft serve, we decided to come for dessert after lunch. I was disappointed and heart broken that they didn't have the ube latte. I'm not sure if they just ran out or don't serve it anymore but either way, it was a let down. I got the strawberry matcha latte which was pretty good. Since the strawberry was at the bottom, even when I mixed it, I felt like that's all I could taste was the strawberry, but it was really good. The matcha flavor was faint but I think it's because the strawberry was so overpowering. My mom got the regular matcha latte and she said it was really good. I got the matcha and ube soft serve and the matcha was so overpowering, I couldn't even taste the ube when I got both together on my spoon. I literally had to eat through the matcha just to get to the ube at the bottom. The ube was my favorite, light and nutty/vanilla flavor. My daughter had vanilla and my bestie got the vanilla and ube soft serve, they both loved theirs. I think next time I'll get just ube soft serve in a cone. I feel like it's more enjoyable and fun to eat that way. I hope they have ube latte next time too! They are a little pricey, everything came to $43 (my dad also got a mocha latte), but I would definitely go if you love matcha and try the different treats they have. I really wanted the white chocolate matcha cookie and the strawberry sando they had in the display but I was too full lol. I'd give my experience a 8/10.

I've been waiting to try this place; honestly, it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and prompt, and the ambiance was super cute and bright. It would be a great place to work or study. I ordered the matcha soft serve in a cone, which was so good. It's not too sweet and comparable to my matcha soft serve in Little Tokyo in LA. I am so glad I finally made it, and I look forward to returning. If you're a matcha fiend like me, this is your spot.

Soft serve - matcha and ube

Got the ube/matcha swirl, it was good! Not a lot of seating inside but that wasn't an issue for me. Wanted a unique dessert and this definitely fit the bill.

All the way from Cali to enjoy this yummy treat, the service is always nice and a friendly crowd a cool place to unwind on a hot day .

I came back to try a few more items on the menu. The shaved ice was just okay. The ice is very crunchy and the ratio to toppings was a bit off. The strawberry matcha today was not sweet at all. It seemed to be an off day. However, the service was quick and the baristas were very sweet as usual.

Banana Pudding Matcha

Service is a 9/10 Banana Pudding Matcha is a 6/10, not that sweet, bland. The actual banana pudding and matcha is really good. Although a different brand of oat milk would've been amazing.

Great flavors, just not really my cup of tea. If you like boba and loaded ice cream sundaes, you will really like this. Cashiers are friendly, and the cafe is very cutely decorated.

The place is nice, but the cashiers are rude and the soft serve is overrated. I wouldn't recommend it.

Biscuits and gravy are a southern staple and rarely have I had any that were really good, except here at Vicious Biscuit. Biscuits are their business. The most important elements are the biscuits and the gravy. Additions are many and varied, but if the basic two items are not both excellent, you will have a disappointing experience. The Vicious biscuit is the size of a hamburger bun. It is soft and there are bits of spice in the dough. These biscuits do not fall apart, but stay together and serve to soak up the wonderful sausage gravy that is poured on top of it. You can order just a biscuit with gravy for $8. And if you are timid, start here. Otherwise, there are add-ons like very good fried chicken, shrimp and grits, ham, pulled smoked pork, crab, bacon, fried shrimp. fried eggs and other combos. Super choices, so take time to study the menu which is extensive. Portions are great, very generous. I had their Vicious ($12). It was their Cheddar jalapeño biscuit, crispy fried chicken, maple sausage gravy, cowboy candy, with maple syrup drizzle. I was hesitant as to the maple syrup, but it is just enough to give accent to the gravy, but not super sweet. Wife had Fried Green 'Maters ($9.50) which were four fried green tomatoes, their signature pimento cheese with a pickled okra garnish. She could not eat it all, so I helped finish off the lone tomato and a bit of the cheese. Very good. Vicious Biscuit is more that a meal, it is an experience, even a journey, through this traditional southern staple, biscuits and gravy. Enjoy the trip. We might see you there.
