The price of gas was also reasonable, but anything is going to be better having come from Southern California! The restroom was fairly clean, so it was a decent stop during my road trip.

In fact, the cook came out, without a mask, without washing hands, exited and came to the front of the counter to have a close-up conversation with my 80 year-old grandfather. The best a place like this could hope to get is a 3*, your expectations are generally not that high, but given the lack of attention given to people's safety, and the overall cleanliness (bathrooms were filthy), I am giving a 2* for this one. And now I'm actually feeling a bit guilty about it being too generous. At least they have gas, pre-packaged snacks and a few odds and ends for locals on a back shelf.
