Was craving sushi & this place was open later on postmates than other places. I was a bit apprehensive because of some of these reviews but felt most were old && decided to roll the dice. Great place and delicious food. I've been in Lacey area for just over a year now and I've visited four total karaoke places. By far, this place got me hooked. I love to sing, and the DJ is great! She will definitely make your night fun. I only come here during karaoke nights. Once the rowdy crowd arrives, usually after 1130pm, it's the sign for me and my wife to exit stage left. . Some of the young crowd arrive drunk and just ruin the vibe for me. But, the karaoke crowd is awesome. The Bartenders are awesome, especially when it's time for them to deal with the young crowd. I've only had one issue with one of the bartenders (older gentleman; Very Rude). Shout out to all the other bartenders for always providing a service with a smile despite how busy it gets! This place gives you both an urban yet fun high-energy vibe. The food is pretty good. The music is good. This is a decent night out. The smoking area is in the back, so if you don't smoke, you don't have to be bothered by smoke. The service can be a little slow at times due to the l Ines in side, but from what I seen people don't mind waiting. I've passed by this place a million times and never went in...its a little hole in the wall sort of dive bar /restaurant kind off the grid. I found out they have comedy nights for local comedians every once in a while...being bored with nothing to do in these parts I went. The comedy show was decent...the inside of the bar/restaurant is really old nothing is updated but it seems pretty clean and people who come in seem pretty friendly. The owners seem very nice as well. On a whim one day passing by during the day I wanted to go and try their restaurant. I checked out their menu which by the way has an a nice variety of food. Sushi is one of my fave foods and they have sushi and other Japanese type foods. Authentic Japanese restaurants are rare in this area. One sign that they were pretty close authentic (in a fast food kind of way) is they 'actually' had Unagi Donburi on the menu I was shocked! I decided to take a chance and order it. I ordered the Unagi and California rolls. The Unagi Donburi is over priced at $14.95 for the small/medium portion size although it tasted pretty good. The California rolls were priced good for their portion and size of the roll. Being from California where sushi is king their prices and portion size don't really fit. But I'm not in Cali am I? Lol! The flavor was really good on both the sushi and Unagi Donburi. I will definitely go here for Japanese flavor when I'm in the mood for it. Says it is a Korean bar with sushi and Karaoke but what we found was comfortable dive bar with decent drinks. The real hidden gem about this place is that they have authentic Southern Soul food on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Great catfish dinners with all the right sides prepared by a cook that knows what she is doing. As a patreon for three years! I have enjoyed the ownership and the other patrons of this establishment! Recently during my visit there I was told, that I would be refused a beverage because of an attitude that the bartender had on Wednesday nights! She was very unprofessional and charge me for a drink that I did not receive. Her name is Morgan and I would consider it theft.This bartender always dances behind the bar shaking her rearend up and down! A great place for fun and interesting conversation. The patrons are usually older but that is a plus as far as I'm concerned. You don't have to worry about drama that comes with a younger crowd. I would say that the vibe is perpetually chill. I often go to play pool/have a couple of drinks. Unfortunately only one full sized pool table but overall its a smaller bar so makes sense. They usually have great selection of music and kareoke regularly. Wide variety of food available on the menu including sushi. We dropped in for quick food so we sat in the bar for faster service. The bar tender finished her make you and a chat with a customer before offering a drink or menu (we were the only people there). We ordered a sushi plate which was inedible. The fish was previously frozen and the consistency of styrophoam. We overpaid and fled. I would never try Sushi there again. read more

I walked over to the Sampan,no one behind the bar,10 minutes later waitress comes in and I have to wait for her to change out the keg. 30 minutes later with no offer of even water, her manager/owner changes out keg for her and I get served. Urine colored walls throughout the bar gave a non welcoming vibe. Fact,never tried the food, not trying to slam the place, but,honestly it could atleast be friendly. read more

Came here a couple of times while in town visiting family. Their sushi rolls were good and beer is cold. Staff is friendly.

Tried to help someone who abandoned their backpack who I was speaking with at the bar prior. The bartender ignored me all night and when I saw the backpack at my feet I tried to get his attention. Turns out there was a $1000 cashiers check in the bag (which I had no idea about When I tried to find the bartender. I tried to follow him but couldn't find him, had to use the restroom and saw an envelope with a name on it to tell the bar tender in case the man had left. Maybe I should have let it there and he would have been short 1000 if someone with the heartlessness stole that from him. I didn't take anything out of the bag, I thought the man was nice and wanted to make sure he got it back. I'm on the toilet with the bag behind me closed up after I found his name. I was then exiting the bathroom and a man who ORIGINALLY was angry with the man who left his bag for touching his wife, busts in while I'm using the toilet, grabs me, and while I try to explain I was only trying to help, he (about 180lbs or more), hit me with a right hook I weight 135 and it was a SUCKER PUNCH. Really enjoyed the first 45 minutes in there I talked to some great people. But even when I tried to explain I was only trying to help him not get his stuff stolen because I was about to leave, they kicked me out aggressively. I had no chance to tell them I was trying to do the right thing. I believe in karma. I saw the cashiers check when I tried to find out who the bag belonged to. I could have taken it and run. But I believe in karma. For working for what you deserve. Not theft. I tried t prevent theft and could have been seriously injured. I like the bar but sometimes you need to handle things like grown ups and I had no say. So not only do I have s throbbing headache, I have on because I tried to help a fellow human. I called saying I didn't want to press charges and they told me I would be at fault for theft and hung up saying they couldn't talk. I called 5 times. Unbelievable thanks for half the beer Casey.
