When I called the front desk, they had no answers. When I asked for help, I was met with indifference. Even the manager admitted they didn't know what the noise was -- and still did nothing to help. No room change. No solution. No care. The complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic service is beyond unacceptable. I'm here for business, running on no sleep, and not a single staff member has taken responsibility. Do not stay here if you value rest, respect, or accountability. This hotel clearly does not care about guest wellbeing.

They produced a humming vibration that kept me awake all night. The next day I asked to move - the lady helping me moved me to a lower room closer to more outside machinery that hummed. I then asked if they could move me to the Court Yard next door. They agreed as it's all run under the same management. Jennifer moved me with a smile (thanks Jennifer). A day later the woman on the front desk at the Court Yard got quite irritated that my reservation was moved and the points weren't reallocated. I've now been double charged points on my account as she went ahead and created a second reservation instead of listening to me and allowing me to explain that the points needed to be reallocated. Vanessa on the front desk was wonderful and friendly. I'm hoping my points situation is resolved soon. Both hotels are extremely clean and new. The valet is run very efficiently. The hotels are central and walkable.

Walking distance to shops and restaurants and bars and Target and movie theater too! Rooms are decent size (I was in a deluxe king), plenty of space between foot of the bed and the TV. Bathroom is on the smaller size, and little counter space as well. The hallways are also a bit narrow (reminds me of NYC hotels) but nothing problematic. Nespresso pods are restocked every day, mini fridge is a nice small size for sodas and wines. Note that ice machines are only on floors 4 and 7. A few reviews mentioned walls being thin; I didn't experience loud noises at all. I heard a few voices in the hallway occasionally, but nothing late into the night. Pillows are nice and firm, and bed was comfy. Staff is always great; Samuel at the front desk checked me in back in July and he helped me again this past week. Housekeeping also very nicely left me a new cleaning wipe next to my glasses (I didn't even ask for them!), v cute with the Lloyd logo on it. I like that this property is on the smaller side, so if you prefer to not be with huge crowds like at nearby larger chains, this is the place for you.

The hotel's downtown location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and the train station all within walking distance. The interior is inviting and the lobby is comfortable. We spent some time there enjoying drinks, and I appreciated that complimentary Wi-Fi. She showed me the indoor pool. While it's a nice amenity to have, I found it pretty mediocre and not much of a standout. Unfortunately, my coworker's stay didn't start off on the best note. The room she was initially given wasn't the room type she had reserved, and even worse, the quilt on the bed had visible blood stains. Thankfully, the staff addressed the situation by moving her to the correct room and providing a complimentary dinner to make up for the inconvenience. It's good to see they took responsibility and tried to make things right, but that's not an issue I'd expect to encounter at a hotel like this. Overall, This Hotel has a convenient location, welcoming lobby, and friendly atmosphere, but hearing about my coworker's experience would make me think twice before booking another stay myself. While the hotel's recovery was appreciated, cleanliness is one area where there really shouldn't be any compromises.

The location is really nice because it was really quiet in the hotel, but it is super close to the city. The hotel is affordable yet very clean and in great condition. The rooms are comfortable, kept at a good temperature and the bed was very comfortable for sleeping. They have a pool, which was unfortunately closed for maintenance but will be open soon. They offered us earth-friendly shower products, which was pretty cool. My favorite part though was the bar in the lobby, with extremely friendly staff and great food/drink. My girlfriend and I got the best Shirleys here, with an ice cold glass and west coast style... yummm. We also got a chicken quesadilla with salsa/sour cream and onion rings, really good food. It was nice to sit at the bar and unwind at the end of the day. Overall it was a great stay, and I will definitely look into this hotel when I'm looking to visit the CT/NY area again. Highly recommend!

The rooms are small and the amenities are minimal, but that should be expected at an inexpensive hotel like this. However, the elevator buttons are broken (you even have to push up to go down), it smells strongly of mildew in the hallways and in my room, there are stains and hair on the carpeting, no ventilation in the bathroom, and the room phone is broken and doesn't work. The furnishings, appliances, and cable box setups are outdated. Everything is a little crimand worn. I ended up canceling two of my three nights. They were very good about refunding the two, and I would definitely consider staying here in the future if I had heard that they had major refresh. As it is, I'll be leaving in the morning.

I appreciated being placed in a presidential suite, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is clearly undergoing renovations, which shows investment in the property, but it also created a lot of front‑desk chaos that made check‑in stressful. I called ahead to confirm a late arrival, yet it seemed that information wasn't passed along. When I asked why my room wasn't ready, the tone shifted and I felt uncomfortable and singled out. I left early the next morning and realized I had forgotten a sentimental blanket in the room. I'm confident it was there. I called with specific details, and one staff member kindly returned my call to check, which I appreciated. However, I had to call again from an unmarked number just to get someone to answer, which made me feel like my calls were being screened. The pool and gym were clean, and breakfast smelled great even though I didn't stay to eat. Parking was fifty dollars a day, which felt steep given the overall experience. The guests were genuinely kind and helped lift the atmosphere. I respect that renovations take time, but customer service and integrity should never be under construction. I'm thankful for the staff who were polite and tried to help, but I didn't feel safe or valued as a guest. I wish the hotel well, but I wouldn't personally return.

Parking is no longer free for HH and the room had problems. Three lamps with plugs for cell phones, computers, CPAPs etc but not one had both plugs working! Not what I expected from HH. First night had a martini before dinner but no olives, ok that happens. Second night tried again and still no olives. Had onions instead both nights but second night no toothpick with the onions so had to use a dinner fork. Then for desert they had ice cream with caramel sauce but they were out of the sauce. ORIGIN: The Hyatt Regency Greenwich was built in 1986. The…read morearchitectural influence appears to be 1980s post-modern/Robert A.M. Stern. In 2024 it underwent a 40 million dollar renovation. LOCATION: The Hyatt Regency Greenwich is conveniently just off I-95. It is located at the site of the former printing plant for Condé Nast Magazines (1921-1967). CONCEPT: Hyatt Regency Greenwich is a tremendous complex, providing event spaces, meeting rooms, many amenities, a bar/lounge, and 374 hotel rooms. (I've attached one floor's plan to give perspective.) Uncommon amenities include a movie theater showing one of the latest releases and a salt water pool. SERVICE: Service was mixed. My initial encounter was not welcoming, especially given this is a four star rated facility. I arrived in the early afternoon at the entrance. The valet explained that whether I self park or not, there is a fee (average around $30) and I must give valet my keys. The more unwelcoming and surprising thing was I asked if there was a luggage cart, as I recently had surgery. He pointed to where luggage carts are stored and told me to return the cart when finished. Despite seeing me slowly placing bags on the cart, and trouble pushing the cart, no help was offered by him, nor was solicited from a colleague inside the Hyatt Regency. The way he acted led me to assume conventional valet and bellman services were not available at this facility. The next day, at check out around 11 AM, was thankfully a different experience and I was grateful that the assigned valet took the luggage cart and placed the bags in my car without asking. Although I hope to not require assistance next time I visit, I understand from the hotel manager that valets are expected to transfer luggage between car and cart, and that bellman service is available. ROOM EXPERIENCE: GOOD The room was recently renovated and was cleverly and attractively designed, including prints related to Condé Nast magazines as reference to the site's history. Bed and pillows among most comfortable I've experienced anywhere. BAD I was able to hear children screaming from a distant guest room and someone urinating into a toilet above me, so there is a lack of sound proofing at the facility that is usually associated with a lower rated hotel/motel. Your neighboring guest can have an impact on your overall experience. AMENITIES I appreciated the recent addition of a movie theater showing a current release (during my visit The Devil Wears Prada 2 was being viewed.) I could see this destination as an attractive alternative to crowded multiplex theaters. Plus the Townsend Restaurant and Bar is steps away for during- or after-theater sips and nibbles. TIP: Since the building was constructed in the 1980s during a trend of rooms facing atrium, some room windows face the atrium, inviting a voyeur experience (watching activity in bar/restaurant below and likewise restaurant/bar guests watching activity in guest rooms). I've always found this a bit creepy, so if you want an outward facing room be sure to request it.
