Consistently the Best haircuts I've ever gotten. Very careful, thorough, and meticulous. It doesn't matter which barber I've had, all are excellent. Besides a great haircut you get a straight-razor trim of back of neck and sideburns, hot towel rubdown, and a shoulder/head massage. They offer full barbering services, but I've never gone beyond the haircut. I've walked in and got immediate service as well as signed in on line. Either works well. Vibe is very old-school barber shop with classic chairs, mirrors, etc. Besides Sam I believe all other staff are women from Russian/East Europe(?). So, can be a bit hard to understand and they aren't particularly chatty, though always friendly. Highly recommend. read more

I had a haircut this afternoon from Olga. She is absolutely outstanding. Having had 60 years of haircuts, I can immediately tell when a barber/stylist is precise and comfortable with every aspect and angle of a haircut. I have to give a shout out to Olga! She is fantastic! I got a haircut a couple weeks ago with a "stylist" and she did everything except what I asked her to do so it was time to pull the trigger and go to Sam's. I found them here on Yelp. They are a mere couple of miles from our house, very convenient. Got there a little early before my scheduled appointment and got seated immediately. Gave Olga the rundown on what did and did not happen and what I wanted, and she went to town! Great haircut, got the hot towel treatment on the fresh cut, and then the shoulder massage. Finally! A barber shop with people that actually know how to cut hair! Cave Creek is in desperate need of a decent place for a guy to get a decent and modern haircut and this is the place. You can tell when your barber knows what they're doing the second they touch your head and Olga is a pro. She's quick and has an eye for what is going to look good. I walked in with hair down to my shoulders and she trimmed me up to near military specs and it was glorious. She said she's been there for over 8 years and isn't going anywhere soon. SAM and his family do a fantastic job! I always leave his shop in a better mood than when I arrived. Sam provides a great and fast haircut. They me charged $16 for my 3 year old daughter's bang trim! The stylist first charged me $5. As I was paying with my card a female owner came over, spoke in a language I couldn't understand to the stylist, and then changed the price to $16. I asked why and they told me bang trims are the same price as a kid's haircut. The bang trim took 5 mins tops. My daughter has never had a haircut, she's 3! Very dishonest people. I have been to 5 different places in the last 2 years but have never really found A place I absolutely loved..the whole experience. Sometime you like the stylist ad a person but not the consistency of their cut, or you like the cut but not the personality, or the price or something. I was in Cave Creek and tried Sams...wow what a pleasant surprise. Traditional Barber shop look, but better than Expensive Salon service! Sam did a fantastic job, I kept thinking with the time and care he was taking it was going to be a $75 haircut...but nope, super reasonable, excellent service, and wonderful conversation! Awesome place! I've been there twice now and both times were different barbers and both did a excellent job. I'm a simple #1 all the way around, but they both took their time, not like some other places that rip your scalp off because they want to get to the next person. A nice shave around the ears and neck. Then you get a hot towel treatment for your scalp with a message of the scalp and then it's capped off with a relaxing neck massage. Have to write this review for my husband he came home telling me about the greatest barber shop he ever went to . He got a shaved with sheers and then a straight razor on his head. He said he never got such a VIP treatment that he did from the barber . Which is name is ARMAN he was by far the best barber My husband has ever had and he as had a lot. He got his head like a bowling ball smooth he used about 8 hot towels and cream to get the closet shave from him he took his time doing the best job . My husband said he will be going back to him. To me a haircut is more than just neat hair. Done right it's a "feel good" experience. If you agree, Sam's excels. You go in tired and dragging and come out relaxed and energized with neat hair to boot. This is an old fashioned haircut with straight razor, hot towels, and hands on to make you feel like a new person. I personally go to Olga but believe all the barbers do a great job. read more
