I placed a business order for this morning for pickup this evening at 7 pm they sent a message saying it would be delayed, at 7:58 they wrote saying part of my order was out of stock but the rest was ready, I drive to the store to find they were closed, there was a delivery employee where I parked that would not help or even acknowledge me! Generally enjoy going to Sam's Club, but not today. Went in for one item, a bracelet for my wife's birthday. Should have been in and out, right? Not today! No one's working at the jewelry so I'm told to go to Member Services. Waited there almost twenty minutes to get to the one person working the desk. Tell her I need some help at the jewelry counter. She says she'll page someone. Back at the jewelry counter, I wait another fifteen minutes. Back to member services, explain I'm still waiting. Back to the jewelry counter. Waited ten more minutes until someone finally showed up. Only they showed up to check out another patron who wasn't even buying jewelry. After checking them out, she turns and asks if I was wanting to see something. I replied, "No. I'm here to buy a bracelet and I've been waiting almost 40 minutes." She replies, " Well, we're all busy." No "I'm sorry it took so long". I will never make the mistake of buying jewelry at Sam's Club again. read more

Conveniently located near the main interstate. The At the store was fully stocked with items I needed and just based upon observation all shelves were stocked. As always I use the scan and go app which makes shopping and checking out soooooo easy. I was able to grab my items and go without interruption or hesitation. I also got gas which was cheaper then other gas stores around. I will be back. read more

Sam's Club - Tires Near Me - Auburn, Alabama

I wish that I could give them a zero. My dad drove over 60 miles to have some new tires installed on his truck. Dad ordered the tires from the Sam's in Auburn, AL because the one in our town had sold out. He ordered the tires online and set up the tire installation appointment prior to paying. Dad drove over 60 miles one way from our home to Sam's for his 12:00 PM appointment. The Sam's employee told Dad that he was late for his appointment because Auburn, Al is not in the central time zone but in the eastern time zone like Georgia. It took a couple of days to talk to the manager after calling and getting hung up on several times. All have been warned to go on to Costco or another Sam's because customer service is terrible at this location. I should have looked at the reviews prior to ordering from them. They don't care about the customer but only their money. read more

One of the few places in Auburn that have absolute cr*p customer service! From the check in people, receipt checking people, cashiers, member service employees, employees on the floor and the cafe employees! How is every employee rude?? Is that a requirement for the job? My gosh I've been here quite a few times since I moved here and should have checked the reviews before signing up! The only nice employees are the sample people and they're not actually Sam's Club employees LOL! The cafe closes so early compared to their closing time and they often claim they're out of something if you can tell they just don't feel like making something. The member services employee I encountered today was so extremely rude. Just threw the receipt back at me and said there ya go and walked off. The café food is not good except for the pretzels which are okay. Hard to mess that up I guess. You can't even buy bottled water to drink at the cafe while you shop around when they randomly decide to close for the heck of it! The selection of products is lack luster and they rarely have raw chicken products or the rotisserie chicken products besides frozen wings and raw thighs/legs. If you don't have a membership- don't get! Just purchase a Costco membership and make the drive to Montgomery once a month to stock up!!! read more

The employees here are not very friendly. Rarely does anyone ask if you need anything or even speak to you. At my last visit, I stopped by the food court to get an Icee. I was behind another customer for a couple minutes, then the cashier looked at me and said, "We're closed." It was 7:00 p.m, an hour before the store would close. Everyone who shops here pays membership fees to shop here, but management and employees don't seem to value customer service. read more

Also for the tire center of Sam's. I had the SAME experience as Tiffany M. except they didn't admit fault and ended up getting away with it... I bought some new tires from Sam's online, and was getting them mounted and balanced. After sitting for a little over hour inside the store, I was called back to the desk, where they informed me that they could not change low profile tires and refunded the $60 mount and balance fee. I had brand new rims. There was a chip taken out of the wheel in the picture, and the silver paint over it. I think their machine chipped the rim, and they panicked and painted it, hoping I wouldn't notice. Unfortunately, it worked. Very unprofessional and underhanded thing to do. I didn't notice until I had them installed elsewhere. Bad review is my only recourse now. read more

My husband worked at another Sam's location for 3 years, was their best forklift driver, regularly doing 15-25 aisles a day, complaining when he got home bc nobody else cared that he was working his ass off while other forklift drivers did maybe 2-5 aisles in that same time (he stays in touch w friends there - they now have to regularly stay over their shift for hours to catch up). According to Sam's corporate, their policy is that after being fired, you can reapply after 30 days. Which he did; he was unfortunately fired for having too many points bc of mental health issues while we were in the process of trying to buy/sell our house to move 4 hours away. This club and another location both immediately called him for interviews in a panic, the AU location offered him the job and then rescinded their offer, which we can only figure is bc of talking to the Columbus location where the hiring manager said she would have to immediately fire him bc of the points. It seems like in this work shortage, a quality, experienced forklift driver would be desirable. To offer and then rescind a position is gauche and absurd in this economy. We are all struggling, Sam's clubs included as is evident by all the open positions, so a little mercy in hard times would be appreciated. We will not shop in a Sam's club ever again. Worst Sam's I've ever experienced. With the exception of Tim. Only person I interacted with that had a clue what being cordial in retail looks like (Taylor was ok). Give Tim a raise. And fire everyone else...or teach them how to be decent humans. read more

This review is for the TIRE center at Sams Club. The club admits to DESTROYING one of my rims and damaging 2 more during a tire installation. Their "claims center" in Arkansas wants to pay only 25% of what the total cost of restoration would be!!!! Beware! If you choose to save a few bucks by using your "club" for tires, know that they will cause damage and treat you like scum when you ask them to do what is right! Again, they do not deny causing this damage. They just refuse to pay for it! read more

Sam's Club doesn't honor sales return credits and their staff is rude and disrespectful. I had a return, which I made and I was given a small white piece of paper. I asked if this was all I get and was told yes. I tried to use this credit and was told it should have had a gift card with it. I told her that was all I got when I did the return and she said she couldn't do anything. I asked to speak to a manager. 35 minutes later no manager showed up and when I asked where they were, they were "out to lunch" at 4:45 in the afternoon. All the managers! The person I spoke to didn't even have the court's to come back and tell me. She just left me standing there. Is this how Sam's club treat their customers??? read more

This stores staff is a joke. Came here from Columbus to buy a couch that the Columbus store didn't have in yet. Walked in, found the couch we wanted, grabbed the slip and headed to the front. We were not Sam's club members yet, just moved here from out of state and we were hoping a costco would be in the area but there wasn't. So we asked customer service to sign my husband and I up for an account. The girl that helped us was in need of some better training. She had no idea about the military special that you get when signing up. She looked at us like we were talking gibberish. She asked 2 other employees about the deal. One had no idea and the other told her to look in the binder for that answer. While we waited this whole time the girl kept looking around trying to get help and get the right answer but no one was assisting her. She finally found the deal we were talking about and informed us it was expired (it wasn't, the Columbus store later help fix this for us). Her and another girl told us that if the Columbus store had a deal they could return our membership and redo it. But basically made us feel like we were inconveniencing them and we were SOL. We just told her to go ahead and set our account up so we could buy our couch and head home. She got our account done and we purchased our couch. My husband went to get our truck and I waited for the couch up at the front. 25 minutes later this older gentleman shows up pushing a cart with THE WRONG COUCH! I immediately let him know this isn't the one we bought and he was mad at me! I took him back to the couches and pointed out the one that we wanted and paid for. He radioed someone and said that I told him it was the wrong one. Upon further inspection I showed him the number on the piece of paper that was taped on the box and the item number that was on the actual box were not the same and that it had been miss labeled. But nope he was still rude to me and WALKED AWAY from me telling me to figure it out! Like who does that! I just stood there in the isle thinking is this real?!?! The manager showed up and I explained to her what happened. She immediately understood and had someone else go get the right couch. I apologized for the inconvenience and said I'm not trying to be difficult and she made me feel like it was my fault. I honestly wish we just took the leather couch since it was more than the one I paid for and had her deal with the discrepancy on her own. But I didn't. They finally came out with the correct couch and we left there as soon as we got it secured in our truck. We will NEVER come here again. Sam's club needs to re train their employees here. Making your customers feel like they are being an inconvenience for shopping there is not how you run a successful business. We will from now on go to the Columbus store only or drive for 2 hours to Costco because that's how good their customer service is! read more

I encountered a specially rude employee, Willie, who was checking the receipt at exit. He missed the items I purchase and ask me to go to the service desk. I got out the line and counted the items myself and found everything matched the receipt. I got back in line. Willie would not recount my items but insist I was wrong. I have been to this Sam's club multiple times since my wife and I have moved down here to Auburn. The employees never cease to amaze me with how rude they are, every time I come in the doors. I love Sam's Club; however, my experiences at this location have always been unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever. The only decent employees are the bakery workers, as they were the only ones who seemed to care more about the customers than themselves. Terrible shopping experience. read more

The reviews here are not great, however I had a very positive experience here and wanted to share it. Last Sunday I went in with a friend looking for some cushy desk chairs. We saw the sample on the floor, but did not see them on the shelves. Yes, we had to actively seek someone to help us, but once we did, Tonie was very helpful. She looked up the inventory, located the items on the upper shelves and arranged for them to be brought up to the front for us while we shopped. Additionally, while we were checking out she investigated an answer to a question she did not know the answer to. Thank you Tonie!! read more

My biggest issue with this location was the store manager Tamra. She was exceptionally rude and pretty unprofessional. We were one of the last members to check out when the store was closing and she made it very apparent that she was annoyed by us being in there. She even slammed the doors behind us. I have been a member for many years and have never been treated the way that this lady treated me. read more
