I love buying in bulk so was very excited to get a Sam's Club membership card. My boyfriend took care of that membership and I take care of our Costco membership so we can get the best of both worlds. The reason I like Sam's Club is because the aisles are labeled. You don't get that at a Costco. The drawback is that you feel like you're going to a "super duper" Walmart. The look and feel is about the same. Nonetheless, you can find great deals and where else can you get a hot dog and fountain drink for $1.50. The customer service at this location is fine and merchandise here at this location seem fresh and are organized neatly in the aisles. There's not much more that I expect from a store of this capacity. read more

I don't care for this Sam's if you have questions or returns the wait is long why, because there is only one or two persons behind the counter to help. Long lines means wasted time registers could and should be opened but are not. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME I love Sam's Club, but this one is just not for me. I usually shop at the Alpharetta store which is better organized in terms of lay-out. After shopping here several times for years, I still get confused. I am accustomed to being able to go in and get exactly what I need quickly and efficiently due to familiarity. This is not always the case with this location. Today was sample day, but no stand outs regarding new products to try. Let's face it, the samples are usually processed prepared or junk foods although they do occasionally sample meat and fruit. This store is dressed for spring with gardening supplies, camping equipment, summer toys and clothing. I was still able to find some of the basic food items that we buy on a regular basis so all was not last. It is still a great place to basic staples and snacks for the kids, house cleaning supplies, personal care items, office supplies and a variety of other items. Don't forget the specialty items that are not always stocked on a regular basis, such as furniture, small appliances and seasonal items. While there is no place like the "home" store, this one will do in a pinch. read more

Im not a member I only go to the cafe/whateverthehellitscalled to get the Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel. I am a Costco member and was very sad when they replaced the pretzels with churros. I tried the churros and was so fucking mad!!! Anyway, the people seem nice and dont give me a hard time when i say im going to the deli(they shouldnt). Horrible. they are liars, and thieves. I ordered a pick-up order for 4-5 pm. I drove there to avoid traffic and never got a text saying ready by 5:15pm. so I went into the store and bought the items. I tried to ask 5 people for help including a manager and they all ignored me. I asked the associate as I left how I could cancel my pick-up order since I had purchased the items and it was never ready. she said it would cancel automatically (I don't understand why they wouldn't let you cancel on the app). After 10pm that night I get a text saying it's ready for pickup. they close at 8pm! they take the money out of my account. I get a reminder text, call help and say cancel - after 10 minutes on the phone with cs in India she finally admits she can't access it and I need to talk to the store. she transfers me. supervisor is rude from the start. during the call he tells me I'm odd for coming in and buying the items when I ordered them - I needed the items! then he tells me I should have had them cancel before buying and that I spoke to the wrong person. when I pointed out how he is blaming me instead of resolving the problem - he hung up on me. dirty store. rude employees. never shop here! read more

Never was I more thankful for my Sam's Club membership than when I came home to find that my cat had figured out how to open the freezer...roughly six hours earlier. Yikes! I needed to restock a great deal of food, so yeah--hooray for buying in bulk. :) I usually come here about once every two weeks to stock up on basic stuff like frozen items, paper goods, and office supplies--stuff that won't go bad if you buy it in bulk. Regular membership is $40/year, but I bought mine during a promotion that came with a $20 gift card...kind of a no-brainer. My advice? Don't come here on a Saturday afternoon, if you can avoid it--even with every single register open, it's still chaos, and there's a line as long as all the registers across to then have your buggy checked as you head out the door. Sunday afternoons are better, though still busy. (However, weekends are definitely the best time to get all kinds of free food samples, if that's your thing.) Check-out times here are never great. The parking lot is similarly quite congested on weekends. Also, they are probably the only place ever that doesn't take Visa, but they do take debit cards. The beer selection rotates, and it's generally worse here than it is at other Sam's I've seen in the area (namely Clairmont & Snellville). read more

No service here. Past staff and leadership have gone. It's been a true decline in service on all levels. Paid for items with self scan and pay at 6:11pm. Did not walk out store until 6:35pm because their was only one old lady checking receipts at the front door to exit. All while 3 green vest supervisors wondered around the front looking. Great if you are buying in bulk goods. The tobacco products have two registers which makes it harder for the customer to buy a tobacco products. You have to wait until the other people who are replenishing their store finish up. The need a separate aisle for those who are buying one item. read more

It's my best friend's 25th birthday and for a while she's been a fan of Spongebob. For all you Spongebob fans, you know that turning 25 is a great opportunity to put the "what's funnier than 24" meme. I know Sam's Club can put a picture on the cakes so I thought this was perfect! I picked it up and I got the ugliest cake I could have received. I'm not even exaggerating. When I picked it up a lady gave it to me and quickly tore out the order page that was on it and walked away as if she was avoiding a conversation. It was too late to get anything fixed so I just took it home. They only charged me $16 so I'm guessing they probably gave me a discount (I don't know how much it's supposed to be since they weren't able to tell me the pricing either).I had to fix it myself for it to be somewhat presentable. I had to go to the store and buy sprinkles, white icing and some decorating tips. The worse part is the cake wasn't even centered correctly so it gets smeared on the plastic lid. Awful. The staff is always helpful at this SAMs. I was looking for a particular item & they located it for me! I always go very early because I have a business card membership. I wouldn't advise going on the weekends bc the lines are very long and that can be very frustrating. The store is typically clean & they have a lot of good deals. read more

It is very slow here and the drink counters are full of soda and dirty napkins, napkin holders were all empty but one and even that one was very low, trash cans are filthy on the outside and lids not properly on. There's really nothing much to buy and prices are comparable to regular stores when I did the comparison. I think this location had more varieties compared to the Sam's near Mall of Ga. I go to several different Sams Clubs locations, however this is the location I go to most often. It is right off the Steve Reynolds exit (barely 1/4 mi off the ramp). I have been here often enough for personal and business purposes to the point where I basically have an aisle-by-aisle map engraved in my brain. The only thing I dislike about this location is the lack of OPEN LINES for customers trying to check out. When your in a rush, things can take quite some time (during that busy time of the day). You would imagine that they would have a better idea of when majority of the rushes are, so they can open more lines during those time frames. Coming in for my appointment, I brought in my empty boxes for PureVision 2 lenses which I have been wearing overnight and continuously for 30 days at a time and showed them to the optometrist. After the exam, the optometrist gave me Ultra lenses instead because she did not have the PV2 lenses in stock. She did not mention that the Ultra lenses are not rated for overnight wear. so l went home planning to wear them as before. It's a good thing I investigated the Ultra lenses when I got home. I called the optometrist back to request different lenses that could be worn overnight. The receptionist told me that PureVision 2 is not rated for that She told me that they had one type in stock that could be worn overnight. So I returned to the office to get some. But the optometrist refused, saying she doesn't believe in overnight wear. She added a brief note about PV2 on my prescription and I left very dissatisfied with the whole experience. read more

This Sam's location is the worst and has been for years. Notoriously understaffed with no leadership. I try my best not to go to this location as there is luckily a Costco store few feet away with much better service and leadership. I was forced to go Sam's on 12/31/2019 as my truck would not start and I had purchased the battery from Sam's club. I arrived at the tire store at 5:05pm with all the Garage doors closed. I decided to go to Costco to purchase a new battery and forgo the remaining warranty from Sam's but Costco did not have the battery size in stock. I went back to Sam's member service and they said the tire store is open until 6:00pm. Going back to the tire shop, one of the garage doors is now open and I asked the attendant for help as I was unable to turn off my truck all this time. He rudely told me they were closed at 5:30pm and unable to help with the battery purchase. The time at this point was 5:35pm. Even though I wasn't surprised by the horrible service at this location, I was taken aback by the lack of empathy. Here I am unable to shut off my truck for hours now and this uncaring human being that clearly doesn't care for his job and has no fear because he knew he can get away with this sort of behavior. I find that this attitude is rampant at all areas of this store. I even went back to the store to ask for the store a store manager and no manager showed up after I waited for another 15 minutes. The worst SAMs I've been to!!! I only went here because it is closer to my new house, the store is backwards and the areas of the item doesn't make sense! Not only that, the customer service is horrible! When I signed up for a new membership, I got an email from SAMs stating that I can show the electronic email but when I arrive the lady gave me an issue saying that she needed a hard copy. It's 2015, everything is paperless now. And during checkout, some guy just cut right in front me while I had my items already on the revolver, the cashier paid no attention of what she was doing and just texting her friends on the phone. Not only the customer service is horrible the customers here was ratchet as fuck. I do not want to look out for your little kids while you shop, I am not responsible for them to roll around and jump around the store, please get out of my way or I will accidentally roll them over with my cart. I go to Sam's Club and Costco all the time. On my visit the other day I was attacked in an isle by one of their sales people who sell either Direct or Dish TV? I was forced to shake his hand, and I found it really disturbing to have a hard close put on me. In accordance, it was hard for me to get rid of this guy. To make things worse, his partner attacked me later on down another isle. These guys were worse than the survey people in the mall with the clip boards. Going on, I did try to call management twice on the phone but could never reach anyone. Hopefully management will read this review. p.s. I am a Sam's Plus member, in which I am expected to get $10 cash reward for every 500 spent. My overall cash reward is due to be used as from October 1, 2016. I Checked it online I had $130 on October 1, 2016. Login October 5, 2016 to shop online to my dismay, the cash reward has disappeared. Spoke to customer service and she could explain what happened to my accumulated cash reward. I had this same incident in 2015, my cash reward was used with my husband club card when he was on vacation.
