Online ordered Saturday morning about 5:00a my monthly two rotisserie chickens for 11:00 - 12:00 pick up....before the snowppcalypse that night. I arrived about 12:30 after receiving Your Order Is Ready emails. I pull in to the lot, check in & wait. A few minutes later a gal knocks on my window asking if im nicole? I confirm and she tells me.... "i dont have any chickens for 45 minutes." I ask what i can do? She says i can either wait or cancel the order? I told her gas is too expensive to leave & canceling wasnt an option...so....i wait. The second star was because the apologetic Jomaji brought out the chickens in 35 minutes, 10 minutes earlier than i anticipated. I asked what had happened? Jomaji said "with the coming storm they just weren't keeping up with the chicken orders." I understand that...things happen, people panic order. It was just frustrating as i had ordered 7+ hours earlier & they even said my order was ready. IAH other past chicken orders Ive picked up have been timely but yesterday was irritating. Was just getting a simple item to pick up...should be easy right? wrong. Around 2PM I sent in a pickup order for something they have in stock at the Fridley Sam's club location. It was ONE item which is easy to find. I paid for it but even though it was 2PM they would not allow any other pick up time except 7-8. I was not in the area so I paid for it and was having a co-worker pick it up so we could have the item for something at work. I put them as the pick-up and for some reason it did not put them and put me, so I had to go in to change it. It was only convenient for him to stop by at around 5pm and I said it should not be a problem since it was a few hours later (like 3) and they should have it ready by now and or can get it quickly...again it's one item- a can of cheese. He waited in line and they refused so now he has to make a second trip. I am beyond annoyed. They then message an hour and a half later to say they finally were able to after like 7 hours go and grab a can of cheese off the shelf...seriously now. such a convenient pick-up service. NOT. And now no one may be able to get this item. I did try calling as well for over an hour and NO ONE at any department will pick up the phone- they let it ring for over three minutes until it hangs up. I did this game trying the service desk repeatedly and any other department in the store NO ONE EVER ANSWERS (I actually had this problem before when trying to get a hold of them many months ago and ending up calling another location to which they said this store is a problem). People want to make $20 an hour but provide $5 an hour service. They should close this location down. read more

I recently became a Sam's Club member. I enrolled online, but a trip to their customer service was quick and easy to get a physical card. I really enjoy utilizing their app for their scan & go. I never had issues with the bar code or app problems. (Plus, I can see my total as I roam around the store.) I agree that Sam's Club offer more brand name products while Costco offers organic items. The store is clean and depending on the time of the day, there may be a small crowd. Overall, I love their scan and go. I also notice self checkout lanes and lanes with cashiers. Their little cafe offer similar food choices like Costco. Also the trip to their gas station was quick, simple, and easy. I did not need to use a physical card like I do at Costco. I could have used their app just fine. On the app, I noticed I can add a family member with the same address too. Overall, I'm pretty happy shopping at Sam's Club. read more

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unsafe Vehicle Condition and Unprofessional Conduct - Sam's Club Tire Department Dear Sam's Club Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding a recent experience at your tire department, which has left me not only without a functioning vehicle but also feeling unsafe and disrespected. On 7/17/2025, I brought my vehicle in to have two tires replaced. Upon completion of the service, I got into my car and immediately realized I had no brake power. Alarmed, I pulled back into the service area and was buzzed in. When I informed the employee at the counter that my brakes were non-functional and that I could not drive the vehicle, he dismissively responded, "Yes you did," implying that I had brought the car in with this issue. I calmly but firmly stated that I absolutely did not bring my vehicle in without brakes. He repeated his claim more loudly, which I found both unprofessional and confrontational. A manager was called over, and I explained the situation and the poor treatment I was receiving. She went into the garage to speak with the technicians and returned stating that they had not noticed any brake fluid leaks until she began asking questions. I was then shown a large trail of brake fluid originating from inside the garage, leading to where the car had been parked. The fluid was visibly pouring from the rear driver's side wheel, rendering the vehicle completely undrivable. Despite this, the technicians continued to argue with me, attempting to gaslight the situation by pointing to a supposed puddle where I had originally parked. There was no such puddle, and the trail of fluid clearly originated from the garage. I called my husband, who is mechanically inclined and holds a master's degree, to assist. He and one of the technicians used a flashlight to confirm the source of the leak. Once it was identified, the technician walked away without further comment. One technician in particular was aggressive, pacing back and forth and staring at me in a way that made me feel extremely unsafe. I was left with no choice but to leave my car in the parking lot overnight and have it towed the next day. I missed a day of work and had to take the vehicle to a certified mechanic, who is now conducting a full professional assessment and documenting the damage. The treatment I received was unacceptable--from the lack of accountability and transparency to the hostile and unsafe behavior of your staff. I will never return to Sam's Club for any automotive services and will not recommend your services to friends, family, or anyone else. read more

This Sam's Club location seems outdated. The warehouse is pretty small, did not feel like any other Sam Club that I have went. Due to the size it's really crowded and I couldn't really find what I was looking for. It feels kind of like a country market. It looks dirty inside because it was so crowded and they experience a high volume of customers. The structure of the park outside feels kind like a maze. We did self checkout so we didn't utile the cashier lanes but their mobile check was fast and easy which is a plus. read more

My first visit at this Sam's Club as I tagged along with a friend who's a member. Huge beautiful store with huge inventory of gigantic produce and products! Nice selection of clothes too, although I didn't buy any. My friend got a bunch of cute baby clothes for her niece, for $2! Unbelievable! Although I enjoyed my visit there, it's actually not for me since I'm single and don't need HUGE GIGANTIC items. Be sure to check expiration date though, unlike Cub and Hy-Vee ...it seems like they don't check their expiration date. I ended up with an expired item that needed to be tossed. If the customer is being rude, go ahead and let loose, but if the customer is NOT giving you any attitude, learn how to be a little bit more kind. I can clearly tell, someone made you angry and you took it out on the customers. Girl, learn how to differentiate between the nice customers and the rude ones, otherwise you just come off as a miserable human being. Unlike the Sam's location in Arbor Lakes (which has wonderful customer service), the handful of times I've been in this Sam's Fridley location, the workers look miserable. The Fridley location is much closer to me, but I'll go out of my way just to shop at the Arbor Lakes location. Employees look like they're prisoners and seem unhappy. Many of their members mark products are of low quality. The prices on some items are much more than other stores. People don't do any searching to see if there's better values out there. They just want to have convenient, one stop shopping, which is taking their money hate how they're always pushing for credit cards and trying to get more money out of you. Tried their scan and go and found it gave me. None of the sale prices had to go back to customer service to have them do it which took twenty minutes. read more

We went to the Club to do our shopping on a Sunday close to 10 when they opened. They had difficulty getting the doors to open and then hollered at people who came through the cart door to get out of the wind. My SO had to help to get the doors open. When we went to leave there were no boxes and we were told they needed to be taken from the produce area "corporate doesn't want them up front. Makes no sense to me to have to put in your cart while shopping taking up space. read more

I recently went into sam's club to do a little bit of shopping for my family. Overall experience was pretty good, The only complaint I have was my pizza was a bit burnt. They only had one register open for cash purchases but they had a worker by the name of Billal, and my god was he the fastest scanner I had ever seen ! Ok...so I'm a Costco carrying card member but came here with my Sam's Club-loving friend. Kinda (but not enough) like Costco. My issue is with the mostly automated checkout area. On the day we were there, they only had one real live cashier working. The rest of the checkouts were automated. Fine....we can do it, but how about those who can't/won't? Guess they are stuck in the real-live-person-cashier line. Then, when it's time to do the final walkout check, one of the two people scan a couple of items in your order & check it against the receipt. Fine...but we had 2 receipts because I paid for my stuff separately--and they did NOT catch it! I had to tell her to scan my receipt and my stuff in the top of the cart area. read more

Sam's Club is a do it yourself store. The only things I have an issue with is when I can't find something out/low enough for me to grab it but I see pallets of it (just unsafe to you know climb and grab it), It's often extremely hard to find staff to help you. Even if you do find someone you have hope they know how to use the lift. If they don't they rarely try to help you find someone who does know how to. Everything is in bulk. Lately they don't have a lot of boxes to grab to transport your items. I usually bring my own reusable bags in to make carry things easier. Also a lot of times at this location you have to find a cart outside and bring it in. The electric wheel chair/carts are hard to get ahold of/ are rarely charged for those who need it. Gas is usually cheaper than anywhere else here. Also usually a little busy but worth the wait if you want to save a few dollars & get the most out of your membership. You can save a little bit of money on gift cards here which is nice, getting more for your money. I usually take advantage of the gift card deals on birthdays, holidays and for movies. read more

I do know We've been coming here for 20+ years - before it was even Sams Club and the place has not changed much. It's not a particularly nice shopping experience, the customer service desk is never great, but it mostly gets the job done. The self check out lines are nice but sometimes finicky. However, the deli gets zero stars. They are always understaffed and the line takes FOREVER. Most times I think there is only one person taking order and making food. SO SLOW. Also, the online order/store pick up option is nice, but the kiosk has never worked so I've always had to stand in line at customer service just to grab my cart of goods. This place is always busy, always a wait to check out. I like that there is an option for self checkout which as a company I would not trust people to do, but it must work for them. I like meandering the aisles, looking for new things. The prices are good. I get things from epsom salt to toothpaste to milk, apples. Got a huge box of printer paper, lawn bags. The Sam's Club Optical Department rocks! This review is for the Optical Department only...not the rest of the store...which is OK (but probably only three stars). I couldn't be any happier with my experience getting new glasses for my daughter at the Optical Department! 1) It only takes one or two days to get an exam appointment. 2) Exams only cost $76. 3) Dr. Eggers is great...and I found out...voted as top Optometrist for the entire US "Western Region" of Sam's Club. I don't know how many stores are in the western half of the United States but it sure sounds impressive to be the number one doc. 4) The rest of the staff are all super nice, patient, and helpful. 5) The "one-time-buy" Ray Ban frames (other stores would call them "limited edition") only set me back 89 bucks. 6) Lenses were only 39.50...extra treatments (like "transition lenses") were only another 39.50. 7) It only took TWO DAYS to get the frames back after our order! I've kept up a membership to Sam's Club for only one item - a coffee creamer I can't find anywhere else. BUT, they suddenly stopped carrying it in the store, and it's an "online only" item. Okay, so I ordered 8 cases (each "case" is 8 containers of creamer, and this is about a year's supply for my house) and a few days later FedEx delivered a big box with THREE cases, and the label indicated this was the complete order. I called in and reminded them that i'd paid for eight - "Oops!" and two days later the other five arrived. Fine, all taken care of! BUT THEN a couple days ago there was another of these great big heavy boxes drooling white powder waiting for me in the mail room. Damn! I called to let them know about the error, and their automated system told me my order would be delivered a week from that day. MORE? I finally got a human being and explained that I wanted them to come get their package and not send any more! "It will take us three to seven days to process that." Huh? They have the order number and they know it's a problem, what's left to process? But that effin' big box is still down in our mail room leaking coffee creamer and taking up way too much space, and it's embarrassing because my name is on it. I AM DONE WITH SAM'S CLUB, not least because I've been lied to so many times by their "help line" about when it would be picked up. read more

Came here two weeks ago and wow...... Management is terrible! Went to go buy a Nintendo switch. They had the sheets saying it's in stock at the store. I then went to shop for groceries after that while my mom waited at customer service for an hour! We then headed to go pay. We bought everything including the switch and then waited another 15 minutes while they failed to get it for us. We told them that we've been waiting and after looking in the back the manager said that they didn't have any more so she told us to go back to customer service. The line was long by this time we were more than annoyed, frustrated, and angry. I told the manager straight up that we were in a hurry and if she could help us with getting our payment back. She looked annoyed but did help us. What makes us so frustrated, annoyed, and angry about the time we went is, isn't because it was busy. It's because they did NOT have a game plan. We spent 2-2 1/2 hours here that day and it was our worst experience ever at Sam's club. We've been in this whole COVID-19 situations for weeks and even months. You'd think that they would have a game plan knowing this is happening in our world. But I guess not. Customer service also had only 1 worker. Felt so sorry for the poor girl all by herself. She looked really stressed. The managers did not communicate with each other as well as the staff. And it was clear that they didn't. We'll still come here as it's the closest Sam's Club to us but we were not very happy with this experience read more

They remodeled kind of. The just moved things around to make it easier for the store. Now it is smaller isles. Milk & eggs are in a separate room. A large cooler. Looks like they put a door on a storage locker. It's full of empty boxes and metal racks. Had to kick empty boxes away to get to eggs. Move racks away to get milk. Of course they were out 1% milk. Tired of the mess and lack of help at food counter. Not to mention they force you to use self check out. Will not renew membership after 25 years. Going to try Cosco. read more

They were very rude to this man, and it's just like um excuse me?! This particular day I came in for a fresh baked pizza. I was told there was a half hour wait, even though there was a short line, so I walked around for the next thirty minutes to kill time. When I returned to pick up my order I was told "Oops, I forgot. My bad." And proceeded to wait for an additional 15 minutes. So why preytell did I not say "fuck you and your incompetence" and just walk out? Because they already had my money. Sams, you suck. You've been reduced to the place I buy yeast rolls on thanksgiving and a place where I can freely let out my gas without worrying if I've offended anyone. This place is always an absolute zoo and there is never enough lines open for the amount of shoppers. My goal is to get in & get out as fast as possible. Shopping here is not pleasant or enjoyable. I go here mainly just to get my Red Bull fix since you can buy it by the case. I have been a long time member and do like the products they have but man I hate coming here. This particular location brings in some pretty wacky people so if you have a business membership like myself, use your early hour pass for business members only and get here early before the madness starts. To close, Sam's takes MasterCard and not just a debit card either so you can use a rewards MasterCard credit card without issue unlike Costco. This may not seem like a big deal but considering your likely going to spend hundreds of dollars here, you can just skip the bank all together. read more

Gas pumps receipts states out of paper most of the time that I fill up, because the employees either don't know how to load the receipt paper, or are deliberately loading incorrectly. When I ask the employees to change the paper, they claim that they are out of paper or that it's too cold for the printer to work. However when they are willing to open the receipt cover, there is always paper in there and they have loaded it improperly. The printer works just fine after they load it correctly. read more

Ordered a graduation cake weeks early and had an employee help my family fill out the sheet for the colors and the cake. Got there at my pick up time to be told that the sheet was filled out wrong therefore they had not done the cake. They said they tried to call us but got no answer. When told that one of their employees helped us fill it out was told again that they tried to call us. An extra 40 minutes for the cake to be done with unkind attitudes. Wouldn't have been upset if we had done the sheet ourselves and messed up, but we had the approval from an employee that it was correct. Glad I only graduate once so I don't have to get another cake from them. read more

(Does that mean I am taking to many pictures of grandchildren? The bakery the worst - I am always concerned that when I come to pick up my order for bakery goods that it will be there. They have made many mistakes. I don't particularly like the quick turnover of product in the sense that if I like something it may or may not be carried the next time I come. read more

I have been a member with Sams Club for over 20 years. My last visit was eye opening, so many changes at Sams Club. It's clear they are mimicking Costco as far as set up. When I arrived there was not one cart available fro use, all carts were in the parking lot, in the pouring rain. There was a greeter at the main door, he said if you need a cart go outside and get one. hmmm. We could not find an employee in the store to help find items that had been rearranged. The store was messy, dirty, lights were dim, the restroom was disgusting - you do not want to use the restrooms, not a pleasant shopping experience at all. When it was time to check out, there was not a cashier to be found, all registers were self check out, with no one around to help with check out issues. I am seriously considering switching my membership to Costco, where the customer experience is so much more, store is clean and organized. So disappointed and in Sam's Club. read more

Terrible Customer Service from the manager and staff at Fridley, MN Sam's Club. I received an email saying my order was cancelled. I called to ask for assistance in finding another chair and they immediately must have thought I meant to give me another chair for the same price as the one that was cancelled and just started yelling at me this chair isn't available. I said so that's it you don't have any other chairs and she say's no that chair is not available. I ask to speak to a manager who can help me find another chair. I get a male manager who also just focuses on that one chair and after 5 minutes of me asking him to help me find another and get him to understand it doesn't have to be the same chair. I then am frustrated and say well yes now I am sure there are other chairs but at this point I don't want to purchase anything from you with this terrible customer service and I have family in Sam's club management and I know they give better service than this. He yell at me again saying sir we don't have that chair anymore sets the phone down and let's me listen to the female employee just laughing away.
