For the SECOND time this month, the curbside pickup is below substandard. First time - Made an order. Never received notifications. App kept showing in process 5 HOURS after ordering. Pulled in at the time i picked and had to call and find out my order was ready. Second time (today) - Made order. Was notified that they were out of water. I called and was told they were fully stocked. When I got there, I was told again that they were stocked with water and I would have to go inside and get it. The guy who brought out my orders both times was very apologetic about it. I told him that it's not his fault. My problem is with whoever is responsible with fulfilling the orders. Stopped here for gas while on the road traveling I-20. The location of this Sams is very awkward... meaning that traffic backs up on to the main road because to get in there is a 4 way stop, and only one way to enter/exit. I'd hate to be here in an emergency. Gas prices were excellent; pumps worked and we didn't have to wait long to get our gas and leave. read more

Sam's has a good selection and all but the customer service has gotten as bad as a Walmart's customer service. It figures of course since they are the same company and the lack of service proves that. Between employees walking by and at most just pointing in the general direction when you ask where something is, employees too busy talking to each other to help and customer service that uses 5 people to help one woman with a refund and leave everyone else standing wondering if they are even being noticed. I can't solely blame Sam's as it seems the entire city of Meridian suffers from bad service from employees that couldn't care less about service. I won't be renewing my club account until I move to a different area. read more

Today the person at the door who checks receipts when you exit said she needed to check my handbag. I've shopped this Sam's Club for 10 yrs & have never had my personal belongings examined. I was hot! I asked the greeter at the entrance are they instructed to inspect handbags and she said it was store policy. I complained to management and received the same lame response so I called corporate. The person I spoke with was shocked that such a policy was in place. A case was filed documenting the incident. I'm demanding a full refund on my membership fee and I'm not planning on shopping there again. I'm not going to spend my money at a store that treats me like a criminal. TOTAL BULL!!! read more

I was amazed by the food prices and drinks as well I went in brought a case of Coke, Gatorade, also some catfish, I tried the Philly steak sandwiches much better than getting single three dollars Philly sandwich at Walmart. Great produce and very good prices. But beware the return policy; the one that's NOT posted on the wall. The one on the wall says satisfaction guaranteed. The website gives a few electronic exceptions. I bought a Dyson stick vacuum as a gift for my wife, but she was satisfied with the cleaning power. I tried to return it (I was even within the 90 day electronics window, which didn't technically apply), but the store manager refused. I had even cleaned and repackaged it the way the website required. I called the corporate customer service while there, and they said there'd should be no problem returning it, but the store manager Robin still refused. The "Satisfaction Guarantee" sign is still posted in the store, but just know it's not worth the plastic it's screened on. Won't be buying large items there any more. read more

i got there at 5 minutes till opening and asked about appointments and was told they don't do appointments I was the only one in line till 8:15 am . Then three people went ahead of me ! I finally went to the counter at 10:15 and was told they haven't even got me in yet! I asked for my keys back and I've bought my last set of tires and even though I've paid for the tire rotation package for three vehicles I'm not going back! How do you not see me first they were putting new tires on two vehicles when I looked in the shop area . I tried to complain to the manager on the phone and she put me through to the tire center and no one answered the phone! Absolutely horrible service and I've been buying tires from them for 15 years! The tire center at this location is a million times better an more helpful than the location in Pearl. After a long ordeal and a stupid story that involved me changing the same tire twice in the same day which also included me sitting at the Sam's in Pearl for over 6 hours to have them "fix" said one week old tire I got from there, I just decided to let the Sam's in Meridian take care of me. Since I was going to be in Meridian working, they ordered me a brand new tire, it got here in two days and once I came back to get it installed, I was in and out of the door in about 30 minutes. Much happier with the service and professionalism with the employees working here. read more

Slow at the counter, especially slow a customer service desk. They'll have 1 customer service rep who is dealing with customers, texting on their cell phone and joking with another associate while assisting you. It is talented, but also annoying. Then when you're irritated from waiting forever, you get this lame sales pitch to upgrade your membership because you'll get sooooo much money back. Even if it was a deal, you're tired of being in the store so long that you just want to leave, regardless of what they're telling you. read more

I saw a laptop that was on clearance in-stores at the Pearl Sam's, unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. They looked at the near by locations and told me that the Meridian location had 2 laptops left of the exact same ones on sale. I called the Meridian to confirm if they had it and to put it on hold. So I made the hour in a half drive to the Meridian location to only find out that they couldn't give me the exact price that the Pearl Sam's said I could have. I spoke to a manager to see if they could honor the price since it's under the same whole sale company. Instead, the Meridian manager told me that the only way I could get the price is if the Pearl store called to get the laptop shipped to the Pearl location. If that was the case, I don't see what the big deal would be if the Meridian store just honor the price. These people are incompetent at their jobs. Gave me the run around to get nothing in return. read more

We have tried 4 or 5 times to use their pick and pull service, and it was an experience I would not recommend. Either the order was not ready when promised, or there are items missing from the order. We talked with the lady who usually handles the pick and pull orders, and found the issues were not her fault. The problems were with their customer service desk where orders are picked up, or with the person or people who fill in for her on weekends when we usually picked up our orders.One time the person told me she couldn't have my order ready because she was doing her job and the pick and pull job too. When I had to call in about an order, the folks who answered the customer service desk calls were sarcastic and their tone of voice was down right rude. I rated them 3 stars overall because we enjoy shopping there on a regular basis, but only if we don't have to interact with their customer service desk. They have a good selection of merchandise, and we've had no issues with their regular checkout staff. They are not overly friendly, but I can deal with that if they are proficient. read more
