This store is well stocked, good deals, fresh meats, produce and decent deals on oversized televisions, but well worth the membership. Milk and eggs are very cheap over here. While you are here check out there food stall. Their pizzas are very inexpensive and tasty. Plenty of free parking in and around the store and good gas prices. Please I beg you, do NOT purchase tires from Sam's Club. They sell what seems like a deal and turns out they are dry rot or something else undisclosed is wrong with the tires. I thought I was getting a deal on 4 brand new tires and they were dry rot. They were constantly needing air within the first few months. I am just at 6 mos. and the tires are literally falling apart. They are refusing to honor the warranty on these tires. DO NOT GIVE SAM'S TIRE DEPARTMENT YOUR MONEY! You have been warned! By the way, there is no corporate help when the store is incompetent. Visiting my local Sam's Club was quite an adventure that turned into flicker of hope and restoration of humanity! On Sunday 2/16/25, I tried to use a gift card I purchased outside to purchase a gas card for future use. I tried to add to Apple Pay to use but that didn't work either. Inside, it wasn't working at customer service and was told I could use the card at the pump. Arrived at pump and the card went through the motions that it was going to accept it but kept declining. Attendant said I was misadvised from CSR inside. No problem; I left and tried to use the card but it kept declining! The pump held the entire balance of the gift card and as of now it was still a pending transaction (2/19/25 @ 4:35 AM). I called gift card comp and was instructed to contact merchant about releasing funds. Called to the store and spoke with CANDACE. Gave her the backstory and also mentioned the money was still pending and I need the money to do XYZ. She promptly said...."come up to the store. I can give you gas"!!!! The way my shoulders shrunk and my eyes started sweating?!?!. Like an angel was sent by GOD to come see about me!! She gave me her office cell number and told me to call her when I got to the store. I arrived and called. She told me to ask for BRIAN who was also accommodating. With a smile and a wave like shooooo, he told me I was good to go when I asked should I bring the money back when it's released from Sam's pending transactions. Like a big brother taking care of things!! Again- who's cutting onions?!?! I arrived to the pump and met Mr. ARTHUR. In the briskness of the morning air, he helped walk me through the steps how to use the gas card with a smile and almost like in a father type care to reassure me I'll be ok! The card balance was beyond what I expected (35) and was what was needed to get my near E tank to full! Thanks to the low price of the fuel, that also helped a lot too! In this current climate and state of the world, the compassion shown through these 3 Sam employees is unmatched!! Clearly SAM'S did the right thing in bringing these beautiful people on board! Yesterday, I was in Sam's Club in Jonesboro GA to pick up an order. I decided to go in the store to see if they had creamer. I saw the 4 pack of Philadelphia cream cheese for $4.97 that the website said was not available at this store. I gladly took a pack. At the register it rang up as $7.97 with a $1 coupon, there was no one to help me so I paid the price. I found someone and advised him what occurred he told me to go to customer service, and I told him there was a line. We walked back over to the register he had just come from, and he opened the register and handed me $3 that looked like $2. I called out to him as he tried to hurry away to advise him he gave me $1 too much. He nastily said like he just finished chewing a lemon with dirt in his mouth "we do more than $500K a day in business, keep it." I said, I guess so overcharging $1-$5+ to consumers that don't even realize it until they get home and don't want to bother returning for a couple of dollars. Poor customer service would be an improvement over that behavior. That person has no business in that management position if they feel it is ok to react to a customer with such arrogant and condescending behavior. read more

I just renewed my membership so I figured I'd drop a review.   Location and Parking  Sam's Club is located on Jonesboro Rd. in Morrow, GA, not far from the highway. This location has a fuel center as well.   Venue and Atmosphere  Sam's Club warehouses are huge, and this location is no exception. Show your membership card at the door and wander into the snack aisle. The thing that I don't like about this location is that the clothing and plant selections are often lacking, but the food and pharmacy do not miss. I love their rotisserie chicken and their pizza slices are cheap and come in a variety of flavors. They also have special sundaes throughout the year (birthday cake and brownie Sundaes, yummm).   Service  I always receive a friendly greeting and assistance whenever I have questions.   Verdict  I'll be back to get some "cheap" gas next week. read more

It's not the Sam's I'm use to! Rude door greeter/verifier This lady seemed to be in her mid 60's tall black lady w/braids! Around 11:30ish she stated I guess y'all going to stay over here? It was a two lane exit, her last customer had a long cart and a buggy! I was on my lunch break and I got to go! Do you know this lady scanned my Sams's app from my purchase and walked off! Came in for some deodorant and dental floss (2 easily traveled items to take back home). SInce it was on a Tuesday there were no crowds and we were able to get in and out with ease. Store was very clean and signs for each department easily displayed and easy to find. read more

Probably the worst Sam's club in the Atlanta metro area! Employees aren't very helpful and when they are, they have a big attitude! The selection here is also very limited. You often find more items in Brookhaven or McDonough. I come here for convenience but when I have time, I rather go to the ones further out! read more

what I am noticing is that Sam's Club is not always checking to see if a person entering the store is a member or not. A person could simply flash a card or something that looks close to a Sam's card , and that's it , and they are in.. on several occasions while shopping in the store , I have noticed personnel coming in from the streets to sleep on the displayed furniture. it not a good look for Sam's allowing that to happen. I asked a Manager if they could do something about it because there were members wanting to check and test the furniture out and possibly purchase, but was hindered by the persons actions that was sleeping on the furniture. The manager stated that they have been told not to bother a member if they are sleeping on the furniture. And for the safety and security of the Manager , I choose not to mention their name. So I guess Sam's don't care about Paying members that is complaining just as I am. It's not a good look , it's not safe and It's not fair to the Paying Members for Sam's to allow people to come into the store and sleep on the furniture. This was my Very first time going to this Particular Sam's club over in Morrow,Georgia. I like the fact that I did not have to look very far the all of the items I needed to purchase for my home. This Sam's club location was very clean. That is a plus in my book. For 7am on a Saturday morning I was surprised there were not alot of people there like it usually is on a Saturday morning. The location of the Sam's club is very convenient and it's your standard bulk item shopping center. Not much different in set up from and have Sam's or Costco's. They have been sanitizing the carts in between uses and they have sanitizing wipes available as well. I love that just the gas savings alone has paid off for the yearly membership! Also the best thing that's ever happened to Sam's club has to be the app. As somebody who is the shopping for a large family buying a lot of things in bulk isn't really ideal to go into Sam's club and then wait on those long lines just to get a few things but being able to scan and go has been amazing. Sometimes I just walk in to get a big case of water or two scan and then leave. Also yay for bulk toilet paper! read more

This is my monthly shopping trip to stock up the house. No matter what time I come they're busy,and that makes the struggle with parking a lot harder. I'm always greeted by one of the nice associates that check for your membership card coming in the door. Instantly I get drawn into the items their advertising at the door when you first walk in. The store is always kept clean and safe. There's a pharmacy,tire center, and a snack bar. They have clean restrooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They don't mind helping you find something. Sam's offer samples of advertised products. Their prices are reasonable to me. I shop for certain things. My household cleaning products, paper product and some food items,especially the food items I sample and enjoy. read more

Very disappointed in the Columbus, GA, Morrow, GA, and McDonough, GA Sam's club, and the leadership over the Atlanta market and the Alabama market. I worked for Sam's Club for almost a decade. I moved my family all over the country for Sam's Club. I worked hard and had a great team that I worked hard to take care of, and they in return took care of me. While there, I saw the culture and the family atmosphere begin to go away. The bottom line became the only thing important and the focus of taking care of the team became less and less a priority. This past week an assistant manager, only 34, passed away. He was over worked and stressed with everything going on in the world. He worked and helped make positive changes in each of the three clubs listed above. When I worked for Sam's club we took care of each other and our families. I remember when team members would pass and everyone in the store would go and support the family, and other stores around would come support the store. The entire leadership team would be there. They would come to show their respect and support the family. These associates spend more time at work than they do with their families many times. They are there at the drop of a hat when needed at work. They care a ton to help make this business successful, they take pride in their job. Demarcus Dufffey for sure did. There should have been a sea of blue at this funeral today. There should have been a presence of support and love to his family. There was not. Shame on you Sam's Club, remember what Sam Walton taught. Your people are who get you through, they sacrifice a lot for your bottom line. Do better. Be better. Change your priorities and take care of your team. read more

So if your going to Sam's on a Mon, Tuesday or Wednesday before 2pm I'd give it 4 stars. Very nice not as busy, there are carts in the store and you can actually get what you need. The employees are friendly & helpful. But any other time Its a solid -2 stars It gets so busy, all of a sudden they don't have any cart pushers, the friendly employees have lost their spirit and the shoppers are insane! You can't get down any isles or stop to look at what you want without someone bumping into you or huffing and sighing to try to get you to move. I have shopping at Sam's club in Morrow Georgian since 2016 until recently I noticed on my receipt that Sam's club food sale tax at 8% while other grocery stores (likes Kroger, Aldi, Lidl etc...) food sale tax at 4%. The next day I went back to Sam's club on Jonesboro rd to buy 2 rotisserie chicken for $4.99 each (2 for $9.98 and the sale tax was $.80) I went to Kroger to buy 2 for $10 rotisserie chicken and sale tax was $.40 I checked food sale tax in clayton county is 4% and non-food sale tax is 8% Sam's club in Morrow, Ga sale tax everything is 8% including food items. read more

Worst Customer Experience!!!! I am in this Sam's once a week normally on Sundays but chose to go on yesterday Saturday 1/18. It was crowded but so wasn't in a rush. I even waited 40 minutes for a rotisserie chicken. Everything was fine until it was time to check out. While waiting the lady in front of me was on the phone and not paying attention when another customer approached the cashier Almagee was her name and asked her to check him out. I watched her check to see who was looking and then proceed to check him out. I told her we are all waiting in line and the end of the line was behind us. Almagee's response was "what do you want me to do? Make home get out of the line?" She checked him out and the lady in front of me. When I got to her I told her what I wanted her to do was call her manager. The ghetto girl tried to give me a COS who was checking out people behind me. When I asked if he was the manager he said he's the COS but he couldn't stop checking out customers. Almagee knew that when she tried to send me to him....so I held the line until a manager came. I'm talking to the manager and Almagee is now butting in and trying to over talk. I had to tell her no one was speaking to her. She continued with extra comments and the eye rolling.. When I told the manager Almagee's behavior was too much and I was calling corporate she then told her to be quiet. It's sad that Almagee is so young and dumb. Her behavior shows now respect for customers or management. I am emailing corporate after I post this review. It's sad that Sam's has had to lower their employee standards and is now employing trash like Almagee. read more

I love this Sam's club in morrow, Even though it about 40 minutes from my home. It's an older store as we use to shop there when we were kids over 30 years ago. The store is nice and clean. The employees there are very helpful, especially the gentleman in the back. The water is very heavy and its just nice to have help available. Tamara at the customer service desk went above and beyond her duties. She really didn't have great customer service. She served up WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE , and it was very much appreciated. Inconsistent service is the best way I can describe my experience throughout the store. I can have very pleasant interactions with some staff and annoying ones with others. Recently, one of the demo people decided to only give samples to children and not adults cause she was about to leave. She then talked about the adults who gave her sour faces to a coworker. My question is, how many kids drove to the store and paid of the items?! I bet all kids there came with an adult. I saw at least 2 adults decide not to buy the item she was demoing because of that stunt. I'm sure which is worse, a rude employee, or one who talks about the customers within earshot. To boot, as we were leaving I saw meat, formerly frozen foods and other cold items in baskets with stuff that needed to be restocked. I wondered if the cold items would be thrown away because I'm sure the meat I saw probably should have been. Anyway, it makes me glad there are other warehouse options. I have to go out of my way to get to a warehouse store. If I have to do so, I might as well go to one with better service, more organic options, better food handling practices, and consistent customer service. read more

I love this Sam's Club. I usually find everything that I need. I used to hate going because of the extremely long lines. However, if you download the mobile app, you can scan your items as you shop, pay right on the app and walk right out the store after showing the mobile receipt at the door. Stopped going to this location because the lines are always long. You can go first thing in the AM and you will still have to wait a ridiculously long time. Only a couple actual people checking you out, everything else is self check. Also because of the long lines there are products that you are not even able to look at because people are lined up all the way down each of the isles. Save ur time go to Sharpsburg, even if you have to drive further you will save in wait time. Staff is more friendly and the store is cleaner. read more

I have been going here off and on for a few years. The service is average at best. They never have air compressor cans in stock; one of the main reasons I go here. Also, they don't give you enough time to shop at the end of the night. About a half hour from closing the police began rushing us out of the store! I have been shopping at the Morrow location for years and never have I been impressed with the customer service or cafe. I recently tried ordering pizza for a work gathering (10 pizza's) but could not get through to either the cafe or customer service. When calling the cafe they would either not answer and I would be forwarded to customer service who would not answer or they would just out right hang up on me without a word. Okay. So I come here when I am at work and I do like many things about this store. Since I shop at about 3-4 different Sam's locations I will say that I am at a 3.5 Star for this location. The prices of some of the items here can be a little more than the store in McDonough and Douglasville. Demographics i'm sure. Because the locations out North Point and the Sam's in Pooler/Savannah/Tybee Island are are cheaper than the McDonough and D'Ville locations. I know this because I have a slight shopping problem. But that problem allows me to know that I paid $8.99 for and item in McDonough and now the Jonesboro location is trying to charge me $9.99. WHAT? Really? Anyway......I shop at more than one location because I find that they also sale different items in each location. So if I want Plan Almonds then I stop at the Jonesboro location. But if I want a certain skin care product then i have to get it in McDonough. Now I am still not happy with the fact that none of the locations are keeping their prices down low enough. The Jonesboro location is now in competition with the newly built QT, which is located directly across the street from Sam's. So their gas can be relatively cheap from time to time. I also come here with my coworker to grab the $1.50 Beef hot dogs and a Soda meal. read more

I got gas on Wednesday (October 17, 2018) morning at this Sam's and no sooner than 20 minutes down the road, the engine light on my car comes on. I head over to the mechanic to see what the problem is and the code that comes up indicates that the fuel is too lean, i.e., water in the fuel. Be careful out there! The same problem was going on at a few Kroger locations. Needless to say, I'm staying away. read more
