I not only recommend this business, but want to thank Manager Zaine Bailey for his act of kindness. After shopping I went to the cafe and offered assistance to an elderly patron get settled to have her lunch. After talking for a few seconds, Zaine overheard my conversation as he was happily cleaning the area and asked if she was ok. I said yes and he thanked me for helping this lovely lady. We chatted for a couple of minutes and it was obvious to me that Sam's customers and their shopping experience was important to him and he is there to help! I left the store uplifted and appreciated. Will not shop there again. My job has me pick up orders from them and the last time I was there I was assaulted by the employee trying to grab my receipt out of my hand not once but twice. Attempted to yank it out of my hand. Told manager about it but I really don't think anything was done. Anytime I have to pick up from there they are very rude. On Sunday 4/24 I was traveling to Sam's in Norman when about a block away from the store I heard my tire go flat. The three people in the tire dept were extremely helpful and professional with me. I had only had my tires for about 10 days so they pulled my spare, changed my tire and and loaded my damaged tire up while I shopped! If you need tires expect to do a lot of walking since they have closed access to the door next to the tire bay. You must walk all the way around thru the main entrance to get the work order started. Then walk all the way around again if you need to verify tire size, then again walk a marathon again to pay. All while a door is in lockdown feet away from the vehicle parking lot next to the tire bay that used to be accessible. HELLISH NIGHTMARE NORMAN SAMS CLUB. The automotive dept BROKE my tire sensor on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma when they replaced my tires. Then they set me to the Moore store to have it fixed. The Moore store printed the papers showing me Norman had broke it... The Norman store JACK said they could not pay more than $250 and the dealership quoted me about $270 with taxes.. so basically I am out the extra money and the time having been sent to the Moore store to fix the issue the Norman store broke when they replaced my new tires. For 2 weeks I have contacted the corporate numbers and they assured me that the Norman store manager would contact me to file a claim. TIL THIS DATE .... the store manager Jack or anyone from the Norman store has called or tried to fix the issue Richard and Lisa are still waiting...... We do not recommend the Norman store at all. The Moore store did try to fix the issue they did not create. Much much more and has turned into a HELLISH NIGHTMARE . ** I will update as soon as something has happened ** Considering calling the news to see if they would help me . Husband is handicap.. and we have life threatening issues. ASST manager Bree was rude and rolled her eyes when we first reported this issues 2 weeks ago. Jack Rude. I am probably a Sam's Club addict, I go to the location in Midwest City often since, my family owns a business. My hubby and I went to this location to check it out since we were in the area, but I found this Sam's to be dirty.. really gross. There were lots of gross spills on the floor probably children dropping their condiments from eating and browsing, the place was messy organized, but messy unlike the other location, and not to mention I stepped in some type of purple vomit like looking goo that, but that was outside in the parking lot. It seems to me that this Sam's doesn't care about cleanliness. I also was not crazy about the layout of the store, again cluttered and messy looking and during high levels of traffic more difficult to walk around than other locations. read more

Dear Sam's Club: I bought a membership because Costco doesn't exist in Oklahoma. Plus, we got some sort of student discount membership deal thing. You don't carry a lot of stuff that I need. BUT you do carry a large tub of Kerry Gold spreadable butter, which I LOVE- thank you. Your bulk pricing sometimes ends up costing me more than what I would pay at Target. If it wasn't for the chick wearing a Doctor Who T-shirt at the cash register, I'd give you less stars. All that aside, I haven't had a problem with a staff member. The little restaurant section of this Sam's Club has probably the worst customer service I've ever seen. The lady at the register couldn't get our order right to save her life (3 slices of pepperoni and 1 of cheese). Then, only one drink station had ice in it but all of them had flat and warm drinks! After we sat down we couldn't even eat because there were so many flies around every single table. 100% wont be eating there ever again. read more

Picking up an online order at Sam's Club in Norman is a nightmare. Why do they offer this service if they cannot do it without making it a hassle. Each time I have tried to do an online order I have had to wait 10-20 minutes while 5-6 workers walk around me trying not to make eye contact. One time they want me to go to customer service, the next time check in is at a kios, now today they told me they pulled my items but I would have to ring them up because they made an error with my order. I can't even get anyone to grab my stuff so I can ring it up! Why isn't there someone assigned to answer the radio and go get these orders from the staging area? So disorganized. Not helpful. If they can't move the groceries 20 ft from the tire area to the register how on earth will they be able to pull of curbside pickup next month???? I needed new tires for my car. Normally I get my tires at Hibdon's Tire, but since I noticed all the stalls were empty at this Sam's Club, I figured I'd be in and out in no time with new tires. I paid for my tires and service and the receipt read 15:41 (3:41pm). I figured I'd be out of there in 45 minutes or less. It took them close to 2 hours to complete the job. So glad no customers were ahead of me, as long as they were taking, I may have had to call a taxi to get home! Never again will I bring my car for ANY service here! read more

I bought a new set of tires from the automotive department. After they finished, I look at the tires only to find out they have installed one of the tires I purchased and three tires that are a different brand. Seriously, how can you not notice you are installing two different brands of tires on a car? After they installed the correct tires on my car, I drove onto the highway to find my steering wheel badly vibrating. At this point, I lost all faith in sams clubs ability to install tires. Usually a 5* place until today's experience. I went in on July 4 and bought some tires and was convinced that they could not put them on that day because of an upcoming appointment 45 minutes from the time I was there, so I chose two days later at 4 PM. I showed 10 minutes early and was informed they were running a little behind, no big deal. I checked in on them an hour 15 min later and they had not even started, and I was told they were fixing to start and it would be another hour. We hung around for the second hour only to find it was still not completed, the techs were talking outside the bay doors and after talking to a manager this time I was informed it would be another 45 minutes. At that time I discussed the situation with a manager, and was told this was not the first time this has happened and that they need to look at the situation better as to why the "appointments" get so far off track. I was given a free food coupon at the snack bar and a $25 gift card. I hate to go anywhere else for tires, as I have never had an issue before, but this was a little much. I was appreciative of the gift card and when my truck was finally done. Sam's, please fix this issue!! My instillation charge should have been waved. Enough of waved charges might get management to find a resolution. read more

Came in here on my way back from an appointment in Norman. What a totally frustrating experience with customer service and the food counter. I noticed they had an item at $20 cheaper than what I'd bought it for at the moore Sams Club just the day before and I happened to have the receipt in the truck! I wait in line for 20 min w receipt only to find out they won't simply give me the difference but I have to bring the item back in for a full refund then repurchase?!?! What a stupid rule. So I go purchase the extra be on the store and stand in n line at customer service and return for refund of larger amount I paid at the other Sams. The line is excruciatingly slow, most of my wait they only have one sweet older lady that's doing her best but no one cares do you need anything from the store? I really think this store is going down hill.I've shopped here from it's beginning in Norman and it was good then.Now they have very little customer service and very long lines to check out.I came in for a leg of lamb which they were out of so ,I rang the help bell at the meat counter at 4:30pm. I was told they were out and the lamb and it was coming in the next day.The guy left and the next guy that came out of the door of the meat department I asked when should I come back the next day?..He said "THEY HAD CASE OF IT IN THE BACK ROOM AND THE GUYS WOULD JUST PUT A LABEL ON IT AND SOME WOULD BE PUT RIGHT OUT."Well after shopping about 30 minutes later there was not lamb in the counter, so I rang the bell again and I was told by another guy he couldn't do his job because it was his first day..So I've been lied by one, told the truth by a second,and then told by a third that he couldn't do his job.IS this the way to run a business?If there was a Costco here I'd shop it, they pay employees well so they have good ones.Now I buy my toilet paper delivered to my house from Amazon.It's cheaper than SAM's and I don't have to shop here.I find this store has very unhelpful attitude.They have moved everything to new locations with out labeling the aisles.They have changed there computer system and they have slowed down the lines.I really think they could use a new manager...This store over the years has changed and it's not worth the Savings, if it's such an ordeal and waste of time... read more

Was tricked into accepting a pre-approved credit card to take $40 off my purchase, then had them charge my merchandise to this new card, all without my permission. Tried for over 45 minutes to have the accounting management correct, reverse, or undo this transaction after telling them I didn't want this charge to a credit card. They were incompetent and unable to outsmart the computer to make this happen. I left messages, a personal note, and multiple phone calls to the store manager and assistant manager, all have gone ignored. Don't expect anyone at this store in Norman, OK to help you with problems and don't trust them with your credit. The offers may be legitimate, but their method of tricking members into accepting the offer and then having their transaction automatically charged to this account is bordering on illegal. Beware of Julian and Josh, members of their management. They have no professionalism, nor do they care at all about your store experience. Do yourself a favor, drive up the highway to Moore or Oklahoma City and avoid this store. You have been warned! read more

I can't believe there are only three reviews for this place. I am not a member, I went with a friend and had the worst shopping experience of my life. The merchandise was fine, though as a single person I could never use the food in the quantity you have to purchase. The horror was the check out. It was 4:30 in the afternoon, but three checkout lanes were training new cashiers. There was no express line which we could have used for our few things. It took forever. Not only were they training, but the cashier had to try to upsell every customer to a delux membership. Even if the customers could not understand English (as was the case in my line) she never gave up, went through the whole selling script. This was not her fault, but I am afraid I was rude and I apologize. I said she should not be selling when there is a huge line behind us. My friend later said that every time she checks out they try to upsell her membership. And she says they never have an express line. This was my first and last experience with Sam's Club. read more
