I had a part replaced here for about $2,000 with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. 9 months and 9,000 miles later, I returned with an issue. They said the part had exploded and thrown shrapnel into nearby parts. I showed them my warranty receipt, and they said they were unable to honor it and that it would cost another $2,000. I took it down the street to Ron's Auto on 24th and they fixed the problem for $200. I won't be going back to this shop, they are liars and thieves. read more

Bays were empty, zero customers, Pulled in for a flat tire change. Said they could do it immediately, with they got the truck in immediately. Took 40 minutes and that is being generous with the time, I know it was longer. Not once did the guy walking in and out update or even say a word. Will not be returning and will be spreading the word not to go here. read more

I had a great experience at Mike's. I run over a razor blade (who throws a razor blade on the ground? Seriously?) and got a very severe flat. The air was leaving the tire very quickly. I found Mike's and told them the issue. They were working on another car, but I was out of there in about a half hour. I sat in the waiting area, watched some TV, played on my phone, and before I knew it, the flat was repaired. It was $14.95. It's a small but clean seating area. The bathroom was clean as well. My one complaint is that there are no window coverings, and the hot Oklahoma sun can make it very hot while you are waiting. So, I had to find a shady seat. Other than that, no issues. I'll return if I need them and would recommend others do so as well. read more

New to the area, I had a strange tire indicator light. I brought my car to them, they were SO kind and FRIENDLY. The guy who helped me (Kenyon) easily determined my tires just needed air, and filled them all up. When I told him my daughter had the same problem with her car sensors showing low tires, he said she should come by and he'd do the same for her. He could have told me I needed new tires, but he simply helped me for free. For sure when I need tires, I'm coming back here. Thanks! read more

I have went here for several years taking several cars to this place. Never had any major issue until recently. Our vehicle had some major issue and was close to the dealership, so took it there. Come to find out this shop put cheap non-certified plugs in our vehicle. After contacting Mikes, the worker insisted the dealership was not being honest and said there are no certified plugs for our vehicle. I asked dealership to give me old plugs and it stated on box of plugs the dealership used, "certified Honda parts". I would have expected at the very least a partial refund and an apology for the faulty plugs but instead received no acceptance of any blame for this issue. This is were you have to do to the right thing to insure you hold onto satisfied customers. You have failed thus losing my business. I have referred many people to the shop but no longer. read more

Very disappointing service on Aug 5, 2015. We have a 2002 Impala with a damaged tire, puncture and a slash. I pointed out details to the manager(s) (Mike or Dave). I specifically identified the tire & service manager visually inspected it. Mike's Tire & Auto failed to replace the correct tire. The car is our grandmother's only transportation. The manager offered to reinstall the damaged tire. Again, not safe to drive. They failed to tell me the age of the tires when I asked the question directly. As background, I have personal experience working on my own cars. So I understand basic car repair including my experience mounting tires, replacing suspension, etc. read more

Take my F-150 to Mike's every time something isn't running right or for regular Maintenance. Kenyon (Manager) And Dave (Garage Manager) are some of the kindest and straight forward people. Very low pressure environment to buy and they definitely make you feel comfortable. Very tedious in inspections and in testing their work after completion. Definitely recommend them! read more

Slowest oil change ever. I chose this place because it was conveniently located insanely slow. Expected to be in and out fast since I was the only customer but it took 2 hours. Worst Tire Shop in Norman, Oklahoma I went to to this tire shop to have a 20"; tire repaired, and I was told it would only cost $14.95 However while it was being fixed the owner said to charge me $34.95 for a simple flat repair. The total bill came out to a little over $40.00 for a single flat repair. Not only do they over charge for there service because most places would only charge $20.00 for the same service, but they put 40psi in a tire that is a load range (e). 10 ply what the hell the tire holds 80 psi the very least that should have been put in was 70 psi. They also scathed a custom wheel on the inside due to there incompetence of how to properly secure the wheel which should have been secured from the outside of the wheel. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know that they have very bad training in the field of tire repair. I can say this because I happen to know the retail tire industry field like the back of my hand. As a business owner myself in the same field I am appalled by there lack of training for such a service that involves the life's of others. read more

I give this place one star because the first time I went in I was impressed by the guy who helped me with my truck. I went back because of this with my wife's car but was very disappointed. I made a trip to see if they would fix her car that has a warranty. Unfortunately, the same guy was not there. The manager said he would talk to the owner about it and call me back. No call. So I called the next day and then he talked to the owner. They said to bring it in and they would fix it. That was Friday afternoon. The next day I called them at the end of the day to see if it was ready bc I had heard nothing. They said the warranty company wasn't open to approve it so it would be Monday. Ok, no big deal. So I made arrangements to take my wife to work and pick her up which is no easy task with my schedule. I called Monday afternoon and they told me what the warranty would cover and what my part would be and I told them I would be there after 5 to pick it up. I showed up and the car was fixed but they wouldn't let me take it. The manager said it was their policy to not give the car back until paid in full and the warranty company hadn't paid yet. This part of the story is where I do not recommend this place. I tried to explain to the manager that I am a return customer. I came in and told them I was choosing them for their customer service and that I needed to get the car today. I would pay my part, $200, and they already had approval from the warranty company for their part of $400, which is why they fixed it. I tried to explain I was going out of town the next day and we just moved to Norman so my wife wouldn't have a car or way to get there to pick up the car. He said that is our policy and there is no way I will let you have the car without payment from them and walked out of the room. I couldn't believe it. I told the other guy I wanted to talk to the owner and left a note. He gave me attitude and took the note. It is now half way through the next day and I haven't received a call from the owner or the manager. Nothing. In the end, I would have been better off using a larger chain place that wouldn't do that to me. They are unwilling to use common sense or find a way to work with you. It is there way or no way and that doen't work when there are many other places you can take your business. I am really disappointed this place turned out to be a one star place when I thought and hoped they would be a 5 star place I could use for years to come. I would not use them again and suggest you don't either. Ok, I am updating this review. I called the owner. She was unaware I had asked for her to call me so that wasn't good, BUT she listened to me and we came to a resolution. She was willing to make it right by delivering my wife's car to her and taking my payment over the phone. And hopefully, she will work with her staff to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. I don't usually do reviews but this is all the facts about how the situation worked out and you can make your mind up about it. I moved them up to 3 stars from 1 and in time I will probably give them another chance. read more
