Went to order a custom cake. Gal at the bakery department asked if I needed help, to which I responded, yes, where are the order forms. She said I needed to scan the QR code on the cake ordering sign, then asked me when I needed the cake. I said this Saturday (2-3 day advance order, which is what we've always done). She replied cake orders need to be placed 3-4 weeks in advance - I said, what?? I've never had to order that far ahead, what's going on? She answered it's been that way for 2-3 years. Wow! Where is that posted? It's not. They are too busy and I should have known that ... Honestly, that's fine, Sam's Club has that right, but I still think it should be posted. By the way, she was a bit snotty and condescending when I added, I've ordered many cakes at Sam's Club and never had to order 3 weeks ahead. She assured me I was quite wrong; it's been that way for 2-3 years and I haven't ordered a cake in at least 2-3 years ... yes, yes I have, and I have the receipts to prove it. Would sure appreciate being spoken to like I'm a valued PAID BUSINESS MEMBER (since 2005). If I'm going to order a half sheet cake from Costco, I'm going to go ahead and do all my shopping at the same time. O was in this store on June 14 I bought an item that had no label which is the store's responsibility not to take out a product without price and when he arrived to pay there was no one to help after 5 minutes someone arrived and told me that I have to go for another one I told him I couldn't because I was with my older mom and he told me he would send someone else wait 20 minutes no one came I asked to talk to the supervisor and the gentleman worse than the others a very unprofessional person to be in that position in short I left Yes. I literally have this app for scan and go and it's never on never working. They're excuse every single time is we don't have enough people so hire more people. Why do we pay for a service and we can't even use it and then when you try to ask management here they just give you attitude. Get it together sams club exit employees!!! I am all for respecting your doing your job, however my time is also valuable! Sometimes I need to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible and my timeframes are tight. I pay a premium with my annual membership and don't deserve the hassle of wasting time in line just to exit the store after I've purchased my goods. It's a shame this store has been consistently inefficient at preforming the simple three scan item job. I usually believe in real people earning wages instead of the modern machine way but I hope the exit scanners fully replace you soon. read more

On 2/6/26 I visited Sam club. I went to the self check out. The Sam's Club worker walked over to me. The worker told me to go ahead and use my EBT card you know you people have one. I had to tell the Sam club worker I don't have EBT. The worker said well I'm going to stand here and make sure you know the pin to that debit card you know it could be stolen. I know I'm black but it doesn't give a person of another race to treat me like shit at Sam club . I pay for this membership. Sam's Club is a horrible place to shop. read more

I have been a business member for over 2 years. We spend $1200 to $2000 every month, more if you count our family shopping. The tire center is a joke. My first experience was when I went to get tires for one of my cars. Placed an online order, made an appointment to have them installed. Brought my car on the appointment date then they told me they don't carry that tire anymore. I had to put on tires that they had and fit. These are tires I researched for. This was maybe a year ago. This incident happened today March 22. Today went in to put on my new tires again bought tires online on March 19. They gave me the reservation for today. I go in there and they tell me that the tires have not come in yet. Why make reservations and why don't they keep track of the reservations they have and call the customers and tell them not to come in. They just don't care. I asked to see a manager and 3 people show up. One of the 3 managers started out by telling me there is nothing they can do when I asked what are they going to make this right. When I asked why they didn't call me to tell me that m tires have not arrived, her response was "I don't know". The other manager looks up my order and tells me that I ordered it on Thursday and they need 2 business days to get the tires. That's great but now Saturday is not a business day for them and why do they let you reserve tire services if they don't consider Saturday as a non business day. Again why don't they call and let us ( their customers) know anything. I felt a little threatened when 3 managers came up to me. I am seriously considering canceling my membership. They erased the date I had reservations to put on my tires and now it just says cancelled. What a bunch of terrible employees. Please understand that the workers inside are great. They help whenever they can. The TIRE CENTER are very bunch of ungrateful workers. We don't care if we don't have your tires you have to know that we don't have your tires. They should get rid of the tire center before they lose more customers. read more

For years it was fine, then about 4 months ago with a new computer system there were long lines and hardly anyone could pick up their order. I forgot to order delivery and when I pulled into the lot my heart sank. A line of about 30 cars in addition to those pulled into numbered slots greeted me. This company does not care about their customers or their workers. What's even worse is you have your money tied up in the order and they won't even let you go inside and pick it up. They are so disrespectful and uncaring of customers. So then I had to go a regular store and buy what I would have bought here for more money and wait 7 days for them to refund me my money. read more

We have always loved Sam's club in the past. But lately there are a few things that are annoying. We go there for reasonable gas but find we can get better prices else where. Sam's club gas use to have the best prices but not anymore. Then their meats, the last 2 times we've purchased meat. It looks great on the top but when you take the top meat portions off they are bone, fat and very little meat. This last package I purchased of bone in pork loin the top was beautiful but the 3 underneath are horrible and you can't call them loins. They are the least favorite parts near the loin. :( The last 2 frozen broccoli ( Sam's club brand) has quite a few quality issues like bad pieces in the package also. Went to Sam's today, 10/16/25 about noon, to buy a new laptop. Picked one out, pulled the paper tag, bought a few other things and proceeded to check self checkout. Found the Service Asst to pick up the laptop. She directed me to the Locked boxes, explained she didn't have the key, for me to wait and she would get someone with the key to come assist. 12:14pm. I waited. Waited some more. Employees walked by, no one acknowledged me. 12:25, I started stopping employees, asking how I can find someone with a key. ‍ No one had a key or knew who had a key. Still, I waited. Finally 2 younger guys, actually seemed to understand, asked someone. Said only 1 person had the key and she wasn't available, I would have to wait longer. Not sure how long, just she wasn't available! By 12:40, tired of waiting, straight to Member Services. I Karened out for a moment, apologized, and explained I wanted a REFUND. Lady asked if I was returning it? No, I haven't received it yet, so I can't Return it, I just want my money back! Called whom ever it is that had the key to see if I had picked up the item or if I had not received it yet. Well, the lady whoever was that was indisposed was finally available, it is now 1:05 PM. Kept trying to get me to go get it now because she was available and now waiting for me! 1:10pm my REFUND was finally processed, so I could leave! I guess I should thank Sam's Club because I came home shopped a few as the other vocal stores in the area. I found a better one, with more RAM and saved $150.00. Well for starters I have family member that placed a curbside yesterday, they arrived & checked in at 6:30pm by 8pm they still haven't received their order. They were told they were super short staffed & to come back tomorrow. (Apparently they only had 3 employees working curbside orders which is just torture to their staff). Mind you this was her disabled mom's food during this entire incident she received little to no communication at all. Instead they let her sit in the car for TWO HOURS & then basically said we're closed so try again tmr. Today she came back and there was a line wrapped around of people in cars trying to get their curbside orders from yesterday. They wanted her to wait AGAIN. While she was handling that I went inside to get one item & pay via scan and go. IT WAS NUTS Thanksgiving nuts... every single cashier line was backed up. The Cafe line stretched past customer service and was reaching the restroom area. I get my 1 item, pay thru scan & go. Then I head towards the door and the line TO GET YOUR RECEIPT CHECKED WAS BACKED UP FROM EVERY DIRECTION PAST TGE CAFE. I wait 5mins...10mins...15mins... in line to get my receipt CHECKED. I was like absolutely not, I pay a membership to shop here my family has had a membership for 14yrs. Also I like to note 1) I don't think I'm above anyone 2) I've worked in retail, food, & grocery customer service 3) I get there's a process for everything but at this point having people wait in line this long to check a receipt is ridiculous *I'm totally fine with waiting in a line this long to PAY bc I made the choice to come on the weekend but to get my receipt CHECKED absolutely not.... So I've had enough, I'm still standing in the exact same spot I was 15mins ago. So I politely walk around to the entrance side, I tell the man standing at the door, "Hey I just paid for this ONE item through scan & go, this is all I have (opens the bag) here's the mobile receipt for proof of purchase. That line is nuts I've already waited 15mins in it and I refuse to wait any longer." He starts yelling at me over and over telling me I have to go around, putting his hand in my face, using his body to block my path. I was like hey look I get it, there's a process for everything but that like is insane I've already waited in it for 15mins, I have PROOF OF PURCHASE so u can check or not... he continues to yell in my face and tells me I need to talk to his manager. I told him, "Your manager Kristina? I just spoke with her this morning about my other family members curbside which was backed up from YESTERDAY, this is a mess, the entire store is backed up, she's running around and I'm not waiting for her to walk up here to check my receipt for a SINGLE ITEM when I pay for a membership to shop here I expect a better experience. " I don't mind it being busy but 2+ HRS FOR A CURBSIDE NEVER RECEIVED AND MORE THAN 20MINS IN A LINE TO CHECK MY RECEIPT no absolutely not. So he proceeded to yell at me and I walked out with my 1 item & proof of purchase. Checking the receipt at the door is the minimize shrink for the stores sake it should not be that much of an inconvenience for shoppers. I've come on weekends before & during the week and when the line to walk out the door gets bunched up they just wave us through so they don't hold everyone up. Idk what the managers were doing today, but that's unacceptable, at some point u have to say forget payroll & LP procedures for paying customers and call people in, pause pushing out truck, wave people through, whatever you gotta do to get customers in & out in a reasonable timely manner. The managers need to seriously reevaluate their priorities, yesterday one of them should got up and walked outside to inform the customers waiting 2hrs+ in their car. Also today when my family member came back and threatened to cancel their membership over her disabled mom's curbside she never received, the manager said, "Would that make you happy?" Doesn't sound like our business is wanted nor does that align with their "core values" so I'll be switching to Costco & calling cooperate too. This place is a madhouse. The pizza either been out of stock or when I order it's not ready when I'm done shopping for over half a year. There are never chickens either. Today I had to wait in line because I was buying alchohol, the lady in front of me was trying to get a deal on some clothes and was wasting everyone's time. Instead of taking her to customer service to do the adjustment they made her wait and continue clogging up checkout, and when it came to be my turn they asked me to scan and go all of my items and just rung me up for the liquor, when I waited all that time to get rung up. On 2/22/22 We were able to sit down with Kevork* (I hope I spelled it right!) he was so much help and had great customer service!! He let us know about pricing , Sams club plus member discounts, specials the store ran, what was included with the glasses we looked at, and normal pricing which is something like pay the frame price and lenses are free & in 7-10 business days , you'll have your new glasses. Things we asked around about were: blue light protection, scratch protection, hard case, how long til we get glasses , After shopping around getting info from a few stores, we def chose well and went with Sams ! Do not bother getting the Plus membership or any membership at all.. If you want to use the delivery service you paid for, they will not prepare your order. They will also not pick up your call and let it ring until they eventually pick it up to hang it up. If you want it to stop ringing, maybe help? Then when I call customer support they will tell you that they will "help" you and you will keep getting transferred to the wrong department until they hang up after half an hour. How are these lazy unhelpful people getting by? read more

Sam's club food court was a mess. customer service was TERRIBLE. left one employee on the floor and the others proceeded to run in the back and giggle. They were extremely slow, had everyone waiting over an hour in line to order their food, then take an additional 10-20 to serve the food that was already prepared under the heat lamps. I shop at Sam's and I do like shopping here but the rating is for their inability to answer the phone. Cafe is so difficult to reach. They NEVER pick up the phone or they pick it up then hang up. Whenever i call the store NO ONE PICKS UP! I don't want to have to drive 15 mins to Sam's to order a box of pizza. Why can't anyone answer the phones. When I do ask cafeteria why they don't answer they say they are busy. That's not an excuse. Someone should be able to answer. Someone picks up and hangs it up they should be able to answer. The wait time to place a food order at the food court will take 1 hour to 1.5 hours just to pay for an order and about another 30 minutes to an hour to get your food. I don't blame the workers for doing their best especially being in their shoes. They deserve better help and better management in the food court. Place is clean and organized. Prices are really good yesterday I bought a huge watermelon for the same price as a tiny one at a close by grocery store. The line to leave is usually way to long. Yesterday the line to leave was all the way to the food counter when I got in it. And takes forever at member services, almost alwayd a 45 minute - hour visit. I don't understand why there's 5 kiosks at member services and only two people working the counter. Very few times have I ever been to members services and received service in under 30 minutes. And those times were usually if I was the only person in line by magical happenstance. I also take full advantage of the scan and go because lines to check out also tend to be long. Especially the line for food. The ability to order food from the app and walk up has been a game changer for our visits. Clothing section is also really nice. read more

Practically every time I go shopping here, I go to the exit "huge line" to get my receipt checked, there is Always someone in front of me that didn't pay for everything in there cart at self checkout, "Meat, Detergent, Diapers, the expensive merchandise! They always have children with them. No morals at all. Don't even care what they are teaching there children. The store should NOT have Self Checkout! SAMS CLUB don't even seem to care. They just take the items out of there cart or take them to a register to pay for the items they didn't pay for in the first place and send them on there way. That's why the line is sooooo long to get out of the store. Good thing there isn't a emergency to get out. People would get hurt or die. Some of the inflation is from all these self checkouts with theft. read more
