What I recently become to "DisLike" is their New App & Pay system. ** Be aware I believe when entering Info into the App, there must be an area where you are agreeing to "Auto-ReNew". I just had this done and was not going to rejoin. I decided to stay this year being told that You Will Still Be Able to Check Out Via Self-Checkout or a Cashier. So I decided to stay into 2026. I also was told that if I decide later I don't want to remain, Your Membership is Prorated and you will receive some of your Fee back. I did check OnLine @ Sam's Club and under Account Information, there is not any area where you can personally "UNCHECK-Auto ReNew". Only way is to "Cancel Membership" and will expire on the Date they already charged you for. Otherwise if done early enough, I felt that they would Cancel your Next Years Membership if you really don't want it. If this is all "TRUE" then at least they are being FAIR to Customers that did not know about this Hidden Auto-ReNew. read more

I had never been to this Sam's Club before and I was quite impressed. As with all Sam's stores, it's like a huge maze. I wish that there was more uniformity to their store's layout. I was able to find what I had come for. I am very glad that they also had a goodly number of self checkout because I only had a few items. I would definitely recommend this location. I will say your person at the tire shop is definitely not happy serving customers....you should think about having that guy in the shop or somewhere else. When making a couple of minor corrections, he was EXTREMELY defensive....I suspect he has had problems serving customers before. Probably not the best position for the guy. I felt bad for him; I could immediately tell he was not very pleased that I walked up to his desk for service. Wanted to give a huge thank you to Alfredo and team at Sam's Club Tire in Pinellas Park. I got a flat while traveling for work and my car was towed to Sam's Club Tire shortly before they were due to close for the night. If they couldn't help me, I would have been stranded in the area overnight at minimum. Alfredo was empathetic from the moment I walked in, and immediately began trying to help me with solutions. He and the team stayed late after normal closing hours to finish the job and get me back on the road. When I tried to tip them for an AMAZING job of customer service, they wouldn't even accept the money and just said, "This is part of our job and we're happy to help you get home." I appreciate my membership with Sam's Club because I can get a good price on bulk items that I use a lot, as well as organic produce. My one big complaint is the harassment by cashiers when you're trying to check out - upgrade your membership, apply for a credit card, etc. Today really pushed me to my limit. As I was checking out one of the cashiers was hovering, stepping up next to me as I scanned the last item and as I was pulling out my credit card to pay, she pushed the "Back" button on the screen. I looked at her in disbelief and asked "What are you doing?" She said she wanted to show me something. I said if she was trying to sell me something, I wasn't interested. She repeated that she just wanted to show me something but she could just walk away. I'm pretty sure my face made it clear that I wanted her to walk away! I got home and they didn't seem to be as warm as when I got them I looked at the time and they were made 2 hours ago but I saw him put them out. So I went to cut them up and I saw blood. I have never had worse customer service than from the pharmacy at the Sam's Club on Park Blvd. The pharmacist was disrespectful and in appropriate. I asked them if my prescription was ready and the person said they could not fill it because I did not have enough doctor visits. They have a prescription and my doctor called them to confirm yet they still will not fill it. Worst Sam's Club I have ever been too. Most Sam's Club are efficiently run. Unfortunately this is not one of those Sam's Club's. This club is completely lacking in customer service. All indications are a need for new store management. Just try to call the store - the phone rings and rings then automatically disconnects. This is not how a business is run Most certainly- when BJ's or Costco moves closer there will be a tsunami of customers leaving as quickly as possible Update/ On 8/5/22 was in the Club. Nothing has changed - employees are untrained and management wanders around aimlessly or clusters in groups socializing. The customer service desk is an embarrassment Trying to return a item took over 20 min in line only to them be told the ONE attendant didn't have clearance for register. Now my self and another customer we're told to get into another line (unstaffed) and that they were calling for another attendant. Over 10 min later no one ever came however 4-5 employees were all standing together in what appeared to be a "what did you do last night" bs get together. Finally an assistant manager walker over from the group and proclaimed the employee who called for assistance didn't use the "walkie-talkie properly. After 40+ min a simple one item return was accomplished on the 2nd try by the attendant. Prior to leaving asked to speak to store manager Joshua Prince who was (of course) unavailable. Provided my phone contact and was assured of a callback that NEVER OCCURRED. Attempted to call the listed number - no one answers, 50+ rings till disconnects. (Same issue as noted 7 mts ago). Why list the manager name/phone on receipt when neither respond and/or work. Joshua Prince simply isn't doing his job and it flows downhill. It's no the employees fault, it's clearly insufficient training and dysfunctional management. When will home office visit this store and make the needed changes - starting with the store manager Update 8/31/22 Let another message for store manager Joshua Prince and although callback promised- no call. This is a review for SAM'S not the customers..if I am trying to review the customers....that would be an entirely different conversation. This Sam's is well organized, well stocked, and well staffed even during Covid times. You can also order online and do curbside pickup. I prefer to use their self checkout lines (you just scan your membership card). Sam's Club is a joy. The best thing about Sam's Club is that they sell Veuve for under $35. How can you complain about a place that is selling Veuve for $35?? Kudos to Sam's Club. Keeping it real and keeping us safe. read more

Sam's is a must for me for what seems like 20+ years. I use them for my Pharmacy (they also price match). Bulk items, home items and basically everything. The rotisserie chicken is lower priced than I can buy and cook and makes a quick meal, soup starter or sandwich. The Membership I have also pays back a percentage of my purchases that more than offsets the yearly membership. read more

Great customer service but they were out of alot of items. I know not their fault. But I have to mention it. Their fruit tray was frost bitten which was disappointing for my event. Cookie tray quality wasn't up to par as well. Cookies were salty! So I don't recommend getting party trays from here. As with everything else prices also seemed to have risen. I will never shop at Sams Clu again. I had home movies I wanted to have transfered to dvd, a service they clearly off with signage in store and online. You start the process online. I had to go to the store 6 times before demanding to speak to a manager. Nobody in the store knew the process, despite offering the service. SIX times I made the effort to go there and nothing but "I dont know how to do that" and this was after waiting for someone to actually come to the department to help. Multiple rquests had to be made each of the six times I went to actually get someone in the store to come help. So much for customer service! read more

I generally buy produce primarily but on occasion I buy other things. The prices are good and the produce is fresh. The cashiers are friendly and efficient. The issues I have with this Sam's is that the self check out chip card reader does not work using it as a credit card. It wasn't just my card but the same thing happened with other customers. My other issue which is probably my biggest, is the customer service desk. Every time I have to go to customer service it takes forever and it's usually because the employees are too busy talking, hanging out and goofing around. The customers are not a priority. In addition some of the customer service reps are not the very friendly or polite. I'm not saying all of the workers are that way, just a couple of them. If you don't have to go to the customer desk then you'll have a good experience. read more

The first time I've seen antibiotic free chicken breast and thighs here! About time! It's a big box store to buy things in bulk. And since lately I've been eating healthier, which is expensive, but to come in here and see antibiotic free chicken I was so happy! They do have other organic items too: organic almond milk, organic crackers and other grains! I always joke with my husband about Sam's because he loves to shop here. It's nice for certain dry items, but I wouldn't get any fruit or veggies here again. They go bad within 2 days of getting them home. I mean really?! Wtf?! That's not right. They go bad before we even get to use them. I do enjoy coming for other items and getting fresh produce elsewhere. I work in this plaza and go to their food station around twice a month. Their hotdogs are delicious!! Big, juicy and affordable. I am giving this a one start because HOW can a huge store like Sams club be OUT OF STOCK mustard and ketchup for its dogs??? HOW??? I understand if they are out of single serve due to COVID availability, but then open a container from your shelf and put some in plastic to go 2oz cups. FYI: This is not just a one time thing. This Sam's Club has some of the worst customer service that I have ever seen. If you have to go to the customer service desk for anything, expect to wait close to an hour. If you need to use a gift card without a barcode at checkout, you have to go to a cashier and it has to be approved by a manager. Expect to wait 15 minutes while that manager finishes a conversation with another coworker. Luckily, if you don't do any of those things you can check yourself out. While customer service stinks, you can find some pretty amazing deals. From clothes to Almond Flour (super cheap) to huge packs of energy drinks, I like saving money by shopping here. Most of the items are in bulk and some are larger than we can consume in our household. We have learned to avoid those. Make sure you grab one of their Rotisserie Chickens while you are there. Also, pay attention to the price of everything you grab. It adds up fast and is easy to drop three bills here. Overall, I like the prices. The rest is a painful necessity to save money. This place is very, very okay. I've been coming here since I've been in elementary school and this place has never really disappointed, but it's also never really impressed. It's relatively clean and organized as far as Sam's Clubs go, but for some reason they seem to be perpetually understaffed, particularly at the optical, auto, and checkout areas. Produce, especially salads and berries are cheaper than most of the supermarkets' regular prices. Liquor and beer are also competitively priced. There is a lot of parking, so that is good. Watch out for weird hours, as they have earlier/later hours for their business and plus customers. read more

Have been shopping at this location for almost five years. Good selection of items. Employees are friendly. The reason I'm giving it three stars is it seems they took the employee from the photo department. I've been there many times and now you have to have an someone paged and wait sometimes five minutes. Last four or five times there's always several people needed assistance. Loved the lady that had worked in photos, she helped me with color & adjustments on my canvas prints and I've ordered a lot of them. I've heard several people comment she was very knowledgeable and wondered where she went as we are waiting for assistance (saw her last trip walking around). Depending on who you get some are not as knowledgeable on adjustments so you're kinda on your own. Second is, they implemented a new scanning system as you exit rather than a quick swipe of your receipt. The lines get extremely long on weekends. If you check out towards the front registers you have to go against the line waiting almost to the last registers to get in line, once was almost to Pharmacy. Line moves fairly quickly but a huge pain going against the flow getting to back of line, not enough space between the registers and line, that's my biggest complaint about exiting. read more

This is a complaint more than a review. I recently had passport photos taken at the Pinellas Park branch of Sams Club. I specifically told the lady it was to be used for a US passport so to ensure it would be taken to correct specifications etc. After a snobbish response of her saying....I quote.....I've done this lots of times and only had one person return .....she went ahead and took photos. To make a long story short, I had interview and photo could not be used because it was too large. I had to repay at passport office for new photos, my question is....whats the point of providing a passport photo service if they are not taken correctly to specifications as needed by Passport Officials. I will be visiting this branch to speak with a Manager to express my point of view and hopefully get a refund. Passport Officer gave me a stamped paper to show them that they are taking photos WRONG. Sam's club tires.....came here after frustration with games played at another tire store......had an advertised price but then tried to add an installation package of $32 per tire. No games here.....Jen has sold me my second set of tires for $150 less than the tire store and that included road hazard. If there is a negative, they have no place for you to wait....Of course, they have the best hot dogs in town in the refreshment stand 25 feet away.....perfect......As the guy on TV used to say "Tires ain't pretty.......Tires are tires..........and this Sam's club has it right. read more
