**Tire center review* I typically go here for groceries and am in and out because of the Scan and Go feature which I love. Using it, I don't have to deal with the employees much; however, the tire center has to get it together. Walk-ins are always 3-5 hours wait time because they don't have a lot of people working and to schedule and appointments are always a week away, at the minimum. I don't mind to wait, but there isnt anywhere to sit! Love the prices, hate the experience. read more

Totally under-staffed. I'm standing at customer service at 6:30 on a Wednesday night. Prime shopping time. There is one person working the desk. That's for memberships, pickups, returns, refunds, credit cards, etc. Completely inadequate. Makes you feel like they care more about saving on wages than providing a good customer experience. read more

This 2 star rating is for the Sales lady at the counter . Tire guys were great . If you're going to have someone that deals with the public , make sure they know how to deal with the public and speak to people . Over all it's a clean store and they have a good selection of merchandise. Although the vendors along the main aisles on each side are annoying. They chase you down and ask you a billion questions until you reach the point of wanting to leave the store. One time a woman tried to put lotion on me - which I don't want any stranger invading my space nor touching me. I hope the management elects not to bring in vendors to bother the customers soon, otherwise I will be forced to go somewhere else. read more

This sams club is very close to my house. If it wasn't for the fact that Lori and the Pharmacy staff was so phenomenal, I would never walk through the door again! I would drive all the way to the other club in Brandon. Try to purchase 60 some dollars worth of goods today. As usual their credit card readers wouldn't process my debit card. After several tries I push the button for help. The system acknowledged and this sign came on the screen that said "on my way". I waited for several minutes and finally an associate walked by the self-serve register. I told her I had been waiting for several minutes for someone to assist me that their crappy machine wouldn't take my card AGAIN. She said "you have to call us it doesn't let us Know". Well then why in the hell does it say "on my way" ? I handed my card to her and she tried a couple of more times and said "it's because your bank denied your card". Well thank you captain obvious! That's what happens when you try to use it six times in the same piece of crap machine! I started to walk out and just drive to Brandon but because of time, I put my Sam's credit card in and finished my transaction. except for the Pharmacy, they have the rudest staff of any store I have ever shopped in! ! Stay away from this mismanaged and Inept club and go to SAMS in Brandon. read more

Terrible customer service. Bought new tires on Monday- I can hardly drive it. Took it back so they could look at it and they said 2.5 hour wait.....OK, can I make an appointment for tomorrow? No! Next available is Sunday at 2 pm!!! OK, I'll just pay someone else to fix it you sorry POS's. Good thing I bought the warranty (that I will never use). I don't think I would recommend getting tires here. Good thing is I did get to speak to a manager......she said sorry she couldn't help me either....WOW read more

Majority of the people that work there are great and they help as much as they can with you however the vendors that they bring into that place are horrible and disrespectful people. Worst customer service in the world! You can literally hear managers screening their calls...leaving a receptionist to deal with irate customers. Someone needs to go in there and clean up house. Get rid of these useless managers...obviously they are not aware of where their paycheck comes from. I hate Sams and Walmart sucks too! I bought chicken breasts yesterday The package says $1.98lb and it says 5.41 lbs net weight. So I m thinking I bought 5.41lbs chicken. HOWEVER, as I was repackaging for the freezer and marking the weight on each repackage I only had 4.41 lbs. guess how much the packaging weighs? CORRECT: 16oz!!! So the actual chicken is $2.43 lb. Sams club opens at 10 am for regular shoppers. A business card would able you to shop to early. Last week i had a cart full of merchandise and was told i could not check out with business card , i needed a preferred card. 2 years i have shopped with this card and now i become an idiot because i have to wait till 10 am. Sams club is nothing but a retail outlet, not a true food service operator. They have very limited varieties in all categories . I will never shop there again. Sam's club pizza has been the stuff of legends. I'm not sure why this is suppose to such great pizza but it's not. I make better pizza but I'm sure it has more to do with the cheap price for families, its just ok. This is just a review of the pizza, love Sam's club stuff otherwise. read more

This was the worst experience my wife and I had , this is not the first time either. The cashier was very rude to my wife , the bakery staff was not friendly or hopeful at all. I went to get a hotdog from snack area and the cashier lady was not smiling or didn't really even look at you when you ordered. Then there 5 of us waiting for the food we order and they had no idea who order what and just kept skipping over all of us. I would not go back to this location. I do like Costco so much better , I don't mind paying a little more there just because of the service they give. read more

Sams Club is very useful when we need to stock up! This particular location is always clean and the workers are always friendly and helpful.

I want to be clear that I only speak of Sam's in Sarasota and Bradenton, but for some reason they are not listed on this site. I've never been to the club in Riverview so can't speak of it. Generally I'm OK with Sam's but people, please DO NOT buy tires from them! Yes they offer lifetime rotation and road hazard insurance for the tires you buy there and the price is good, but when you go there for service be prepared to wait for about 2 hours to get a simple tire rotation done. I've been Sam's member for about 15 years and it didn't use to be this bad. But in the last few years it has gotten to be really bad. I finally got fed up with 2+ hour wait and this months got a set of new tires for my SUV at a specialty tire place where it takes 25 minutes to get the same thing done. I mean, I could understand if the 2 hour wait was because there were too many people in front of you also waiting to get rotation done or to get a tire fixed, but I've gotten there early in the morning when there was only 1 person in front of me and the wait was still almost 2 hours... that's crazy! read more
