Staff at the deli section is very rude. Obviously this isn't about cost of hotdog because it is only $1.38 cents but it is due to management and staff's attitude at the deli. When you order hotdog, fountain soda is included but their fountain machine has been broken for last three weeks and they didn't provide any alternative drinks. Their broken fountain machine is not customers problem and customers should get what they pay for. They should be giving out at least bottle of water to compensate for their broken fountain machine. Management here must look into this and fix the problem and fire rude employees! Perhaps manager needs to go if he/she isn't capable of management this location. read more

So apparently to buy a damn pizza at the deli now you need to download the Sam's club app and order pizza from there, and I assume the other stuff that is behind the counter as well. This is ridiculous because I use my dad's membership to get in there. What's next? Have me pay in crypto? They won't take CASH or card at the deli anymore. Thankfully you can use cash and card at the self-checkout and registers there... for now. Oh yeah there is no Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, or any other tap to pay services. Walmart Pay won't work at their registers either nor will a discount card for Walmart employees, which is ridiculous considering Walmart owns Sam's Club. So, you better bring your wallet, or you are out of luck. Honestly at this point I might just get a Costco membership instead and drive the extra hour or hour and a half. Walmart/Sam's Club is getting too greedy for their own good. IDK for sure if Costco will take contactless payments or force you to do an app just to order deli food but I will say that if you don't mind the extra drive Costco will be better overall because I think their prices outdo Sam's Club, and they don't let their greed blind them like Sam's Club. read more

So the actual shopping part of Sam's club was good. They had the free samples going and you know I'm always down for that. The friosk had some free Lysol wipes so we got the hook up with some of those. We actually came here to get our tires checked out because I was pretty sure there was a nail in it or something because it kept leaking air. There were some people waiting there before us, and they ended up pretty upset. They literally waited almost 2 hours for a tire rotation. That is absolutely ridiculous. When they asked to speak to the manager, the manager tried to blame the customer, and the lady that was handling the the front desk also tried to blame the customer I couldn't believe it. Her leaving ended up speeding up our process, but it was ridiculous watching it unfold. Daryn....I hoped I spelled it righ,t was awesome. I hate to bash the whole store for an issue with a product that a company is selling there BUT I did buy it from here so here I go. What in the world is all of this white gunk in a FUDGE brownie that was in sealed packaging. There shouldn't be any color besides brown.. now I'm wondering what's in all the other food that I'm buying from here and not studying. I love Sam's Club, especially in Salisbury, MD as we are limited in grocers. Walmart next door, so almost one stop shopping. Folks helpful, friendly, and good buys. We basically use for staples, that don't spoil, now that 2 person household, but when family comes, or for Christmas gifts, a bargain. I also buy my coffee online, free shipping, best price. I went to the cafeteria the hot dogs really good but the pizza.... Ok so the dough comes in frozen then is pressed out with a machine the pizza was paper thin to make matters worse it is doused with too much tomato sauce too much cheese and too much toppings causing it to fall apart instantly when picking it up not to mention the dough is also raw not cooked all the way and it's very greasy. Thank goodness this Sam's Club is close by. The area is very limited when it comes to grocery stores, so even though we buy in bulk going to Sam's it still works out. The store is very clean, the employees are pleasant and I've never gone in there where they have been out of something I'm looking for. read more

Definitely skip the tire department. When I arrived, several customers were milling around, waiting for an employee to show up at the tire service counter. This was the good part of the experience. When I was finally served, the staff member was very rude. Without looking at the tires, she came up with a list of reasons why the premature wear was the customer's fault. Yes, maybe she could be convinced to have a look at the tires, but in the middle of the conversation she turned to an employee to discuss another matter. The sad part is that the other employees in the department are seeing that a bad employee attitude is an acceptable way of doing business. Based on her attitude, I decided to stop at another Sams down the road. Condolences to anyone who has to shop at this location. read more

Was not happy to find out I can not shop early unless I have a plus membership. I would have thought they would have given their members notification of this change before it happened. I am an early morning shopper so I guess this eliminates Sams Club. They told me I could pay extra for that privilege but I feel we already pay to shop there and they have the nerve to ask for more money. It's just like any other Sam's Club, a limited selection of products, but often cheaper because it's in bulk. The store is clean, the pizza and hotdogs are great from the snack bar, andThe shelves are well-stocked. The cashiers are pretty swift and the greeter when you first come in and leave are friendly. I shop at Sam's Club a lot, enough to where I earn more on the Plus rewards than I pay for the membership. However, two things really bug me about the store. One, they allow solicitors outside of the exit on a normal basis during weekends. I pay to shop at Sam's, I don't want to solicited, even for a good cause after I get finished grocery shopping. Some of the organizations are more pushy than others. The other buggy thing, which is not unique to this location, is they have outsourced their cell phone service desk. The employees then try to stop you as you are entering to go shop to ask about cell phones and DirecTV service. I literally just ignore them. The desk is always there, not some one-time deal. I simply feel like the vendor should not be allowed to solicit to shoppers. read more

My issue is with the tire and battery center at this store. It's been poorly managed and run for years. A while back, they moved their customer service desk from in front of the bay windows to near the entrance to the store. The problem is, the desk is unmanned more than it is manned and the employees working back in the bays don't see customers when the come up to the service desk for assistance. Customers can stand there for a long time before anyone will help them. It takes way too long for the techs to do a balance and rotation job. They take your cell phone number and say they'll call you when you vehicle is done, but that's not happened yet. The turnover rate is very high and as a result, the quality of the work is poor. They have state-of-the-art equipment, but apparently many of the employees have no clue how to use it. My wife bought four new tires for her Subaru and the techs had a heck of a time mounting the stock tires on stock rims. When it took a long time, I walked back to the bays and saw them beating on the tires with a mallet to get them to seal on the rim. With the mounting equipment they have, they should be able to mount specialized tires on custom wheels with no problem. After I had the four tires I bought there balanced and rotated, I noticed the vehicle shaking from the pedals. This is an indication of the rear wheels being out of balance. I took the vehicle to another garage to have them check the balance on the tires. The first tire they checked needed a .75 ounce weight. In all, all four tires needed a total of 4.5 ounces of weights to properly balance them. The owner of the garage that properly balanced the tires on my car said either the techs at Sam's had no clue what they were doing or they fail to calibrate their balancing machine on a regular basis. From what I've observed over the years in this department, if they had the right management, sales in this tire and battery center could increase by at least fifty-percent annually. I'm disappointed that I paid for lifetime balancing and rotation for eight tires on two vehicles and I can't trust this place to get the service I paid for. read more
