This is my local happy place. My DIY plumbing projects, yep. My DIY electrical projects, yep. Those ridiculous little screws that you need for some random reason, yep. My daughter ran over my sprinkler again, yep. Time to change the HVAC filters, yep. The pet sitter needs a key to the house, yep. Refill my propane for the cookout on Saturday, yep. And of course I am a member of the backyard bird club, which is one of those punch card clubs that you get a free bag of birdseed after you buy so many. In short, this is my place. Sure, Lowes is cheaper, but It costs me $8 more in gasoline just to drive across town to Lowes plus the hike through Lowes to get what I could have gotten in about 50 steps from my car. When I need some wisdom about a project, the folks are always great. If you live within about 5 miles of this place just make it the extension to your garage. read more

Good customer service, but prices are ridiculous. $22 for a plastic watering can that I can get for $5 at Home Depot without a fancy name.

I can't imagine why this location has any negative reviews. In store the customer service is awesome. I purchased a grill online and they assembled and delivered it same day, on a Friday evening so I could host a cook out that night, and their pricing is as good or often better than the bigger home improvement stores. I would give these folks a 10, if I could. I went in today to replace my car key fob that also opened and locks the doors. They quoted me $149 price. This sounds high, but is $100 less than the dealer. Now the good part. After talking for a few minutes they said "you might just need to change the battery". They showed me how to crack into the key fob. I did the cracking. They then replaced the battery and helped me put it all back together. Done, for $6!! Thanks Brent. You guys are are great! Terrible customer service regarding online orders. Ordered a Yeti online for a better price than they would give me in the store one night. Then the (same) store manager tried to give me their beat up floor model at pickup the next day. Had them cancel order, under duress. Told me this is company policy, not theirs, to sell merchandise on hand before getting new shipment. Lied on return form about my reason for return. Actually told me they're "just students who work part-time and that they DO NOT CARE." Tried to have a teachable moment with them, but they weren't having any of it. It was such a shame about their handling of the situation and lack of customer service. Maybe finishing college will help that. read more

The salesman sang and danced the entire time while waiting on me. Okay, he was happy. Perhaps he likes his job. Was told they didn't carry my supplies - a sample of which I brought into the store. Salesman finally researched my supplies online between songs and found out they did carry my supplies but it was a special order item - pay for it and I could pick it up in a couple days. Called to check on the status of my order in a couple days. Was put on terminal hold and hung up on twice. Called back and was transferred (3) times. Was finally told the supplies were backordered and I could pick it up in (4) months. When I informed them that I couldn't wait that long and would be in for a refund, they suddenly found my supplies waiting for me in the store. Went to pickup my supplies. Was kept waiting while the clerk asked questions of (2) other employees about the status of picking up the order. Finally was told my order had to be picked up at the "Helpful Hub" in the middle of the store. Got to the "Helpful Hub" with my receipt in hand only to again get a blank stare about picking up my order. My order was found sitting in a box on the counter in front of the clerk. At no time was I ever given an apology. Really??? My suggestion ... either rehire or retrain your staff in knowledge of products and processes and most certainly in customer relations and service.
